I've had dogs/cats my whole life and they are part of the family. So I am used to walking/letting dogs out to pee every couple of hours. I believe that dogs should be walked at least 2x/a day rain or shine, and on the weekends that is the time for dogs to really run and stretch so typically I like to be on a trail, or headed toward the beach.

Safety, trust & environment
I've had dogs my whole life, my last pup died over Christmas in 2021, she was almost 17. I made all of her food for the last 10 years and I miss having a dog by my side but I am not ready to get another one just yet so the next best thing is to give love to the dogs I am lucky enough to dog sit for.

Information Lydia P. would like to know about your pet
I like to know about your cat or dog's special needs: are they seniors, do they require any medication or special foods, are they barkers, how often do they poo, what is their regular exercise routine, have you had your dog since a puppy, what type of training did you do, are there any social issues I need to know about, and how do they interact with children or other dogs on walks?
A typical day
I love having a dog by my side and when I do errands I also like to take them with me if they like the adventure and a car ride. I am a big believer that humans and animals need to be outside enjoying the fresh air. I have had dogs my whole life and have always walked them at least 2x per day for at least 30-45 minutes. When time permits, and especially on the weekends, we are in the car looking for a trail, dog park, beach or a stroll someplace new. Depending on where you are located I could be a Cavallo Point, or Rodeo Beach, Sausalito Boardwalk, Civic Center pond, McGinnis fields, and trails, along the Target water walkway, and even Pt. Isabel in Richmond or the Marina Green on the weekends. I am a big walker myself and walk a couple of miles a day as my normal practice. I always have balls, a chucker, and a water bowl in the car because it's all about playtime!

Reviews

Lydia was excellent at communicating. She was also very professional, articulate and took care of every detail. The best part was how lovely she was with my cat. She spent time with her, held her and treated her like she was her own. I am highly impressed.
Lydia is great, super reliable, and the dogs love her!

As always Lydia took great care of Rosco and Bella. She communicated well with both my sister and myself. She sent photos and a note after each walk. She made sure they got the exercise and cuddles they needed!!

Lydia helped me out in a pinch and took really great care of Rosco and Bella. She made sure to get Rosco plenty of exercise.
