“So grateful! This was my first time using Rover and I am thrilled with the match. Kathryn was awesome and took great care of our kitten. Our kitten was happy and very relaxed and this made for an easy transition. Kathryn kept us up to date with sweet pics which made it even easier to enjoy the trip and not worry at all about a thing. Kathryn also took wonderful care of our house. She even noticed some of our plants needed water and offered to take care of that. About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her care as she has aged. It' isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I've also cared for feline friends at their homes while their families have been away. I have plenty of time for your dog or cat Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday for neighborhood walks, local outings, daycare or litter box and play. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where your dog can take a safe break with me or play games while you're at work or running errands. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, we can give that with a pill pocket or other snack but no injected meds or fluids.

“Layla did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She even cleaned up a flower vase that my cat knocked over. Everything looked really clean when I got back. I would definitely book her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets and wild animals since I was a child. From raccoons, squirrels, rabbits to rodents, chinchillas, cats and dogs. I have volunteered for an animal rescue group and SPCA. I have worked with puppies to senior dogs. Semi-Feral cats, kittens and senior cats. I am well versed in providing medications, caring for animals who are ill and bringing comfort to animals who need that extra attention. I have always had pets through out my life. My life is fuller due to the animals I’ve adopted as well as the pure-breeds I’ve called my own. It’s an honor to be loved by an animal and my job is to make certain I follow your consistency and routine. To give attention, pets and administer medications if needed. Thank you for considering me to be your stand in while you’re away. I work for myself and therefore can accommodate most schedules. I prefer to stay within Marin county to attend to your pets. I don’t offer having animals stay in my home but I’m happy to come to yours. Keeping your pets schedule is important. So I am one to stick to the schedule. Walking your dog or cat (sometimes cat owners have me walk cats). Playing with them. Brushing them, food, medication. Knowing what their favorite toy is. Learning their temperament is important. My job is to give them love so they are happy while your home and excited when you return.

About: Hi my name is Gina Dudley! I have 2 dogs of my own and a cat. Having these animals has informed me a lot about exercise needed and different styles of care. I have dog sat for many people in the past, including 3 summers of in home dog care, but this is my first time using the app! In summary, I am an animal lover looking to spend more time caring for them!! This will be my 3rd summer living at a home taking care of Bruno, a large mixed breed dog. I coach tennis sporadically throughout the day, several times a week. However, this is only in 1-2 hour time blocks, leaving me ample time to care for any furry friends. I typically start the day by feeding and giving the animals any medications then taking them on a walk. I make it a point to walk them at least 2-3 times every day and keep the house in a well-maintained environment free from anything that could impact the dog negatively. I am a huge animal lover and look forward to working with you guys :)

“Rose is a very good communicator, response very promptly and did a fantastic job, taking care of my two cats. When I got home, everything looked really clean and my cats were really happy.”

“Devon was so great with my cat Peanut and helped me out when my other sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very prompt with her responses, came on time to feed Peanut, and sent the cutest updates and photos! Felt super comfortable leaving Peanut in her care and would definitely recommend her services! Thank you!!”

“Caroline was very professional. She spent a considerable amount with our Charlie each visit and even photographed his eating and maintenance area. I could see through the photos as he became more settled with her visits in the photos of him getting pets! I would absolutely have her return for the next trip!”

“Billie did an awesome job watching our cats over the course of two weeks. She was responsible, communicative and resourceful. Would certainly feel comfortable booking with Billie again. Came home to happy cats!”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

“Sabrina was so great with Buddy! I loved getting the pictures and felt very comfortable on my vacation knowing things were going well at home!”

“Kelly was very helpful and flexible with last minute changes, and really spent a lot of time hanging out with the dogs!”

“Christopher is my dog loving neighbor - He is patient, kind, thoughtful, and seems to be able to look into dog's eyes and know exactly what they need. His beloved Sadie was a one of kind gal that needed special love, patience, and understanding and he worked with her beautifully, managing every meet and greet with neighborhood dogs with ease. He uses treats to reward good behavior along with loving pats and kind words. I would trust him implicitly with my dog, and yours would be lucky to have him visit for a walk or a stay over. She has housesat for me and taken care of my two dogs multiple times over the past couple of years, and every time I come home, my pups are happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Gina is incredibly responsible, attentive, and has that natural “dog person” energy. What sets Gina apart is her genuine love for animals—she doesn’t just “watch” your pets, she bonds with them. She keeps me updated with cute photos and little notes about their day, which gives me total peace of mind when I’m away. My dogs absolutely adore her—and honestly, I think they’re a little disappointed when I come home! Gina is also super respectful of my home and always leaves it cleaner than she found it. “We are so lucky that Thomas is our most trusted caregiver for our dog child, Sandy, and home sitter for our spot in Sebastopol, CA. After considering our long list of good friends, colleagues, cohorts and family, we always only ever call Thomas and honestly if he's not a available, we postpone our trip until his schedule opens up. He's really the only one we trust to exercise Sandy and provide the loving attention we would if we were home. He's also very attentive to plants, all types, and our chickens ~ which we were so grateful he knew how to manage. Thank You Thomas for being so exceptionally attentive and caring!”
