I also cared for coworkers' animals when they were gone for vacation, and I was entrusted with keeping their living space clean. Growing up, I had four large dogs: 2 labs and 2 boxer mixes. About: My mother raised me alongside a puppy in an area dense with wildlife. Along with our growing dog, we often had rodents, birds, or stray cats to take care of. In high school I took care of mice, and owned two sets of rats. The dog I was raised with passed at age 20, and I am experienced in taking care of senior pup needs. I'm currently working part time, and my ideal days to hang out with your pets are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This will be the case until college starts again in the fall. I have a fenced in home as well as lots of access to pet supplies. I love all parts of animal care, whether it be active play or just snuggling on the couch. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and just recently said goodbye to my 17 year old pit bull rescue. I’ve been the go to sitter in my neighborhood for the past 15 years and I’m lucky to have been successful in our local fur community by word of mouth. I am well versed in senior dogs, dogs with physical limitations, dogs with allergies, administering medication, and handling reactive behaviors. I live in a large home with no roommates or pets, and have a large fenced yard with lots of areas to explore. There’s a hiking trail just feet away from my front door and I miss having my 4 legged companion to walk the trails with. Being the fur mom of a rescue, I understand that each dogs comes with instructions and I take that seriously. I understand the importance of activity in high energy dogs, and that new sitters need to be extra affectionate in the absence of a dogs owner. I love spending time outside and will love your fur baby as if it were my own! I generally work from home which allows for ample walks and mid day snuggles! If I need to go into the office, I am use to making time before and after work for walks. In addition the that, if owners are comfortable, dogs can have access to the fenced yard throughout the day. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
