About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! She is super sweet and friendly. Most of all she adored my puppy. He had a good time with her and her fur baby. She sent me updates on Nico with pictures of his day. About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. But I could! I work from home most days. I write, so I sit at my desk and I don't move much. I love having a cat on the desk or a well-exercised dog in their bed waiting for my next move. I go downtown twice a week, but I have a retired neighbor who volunteers at Animal Control and the SF Zoo who is nuts about dog-walking to fill-in for noontime walks. I like to treat all pets like they're my own, with a little extra in an auntie kind of way. I am an expert Kong-stuffer and a tug of war extremist, with a nice car that I don't mind getting hairy or muddy. Poo and litter are not things I shy away from. I love the smell of pet feet.

I have experience with young playful animals as well as older and quieter animals. I love playing and spending time with them! I work part-time, so have plenty of time to spend time with your pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was younger. I had two cats and dogs and loved taking on all the responsibilities of a pet. I have babysat for the pets of families many times, recieving good reviews each time. I absolutely love animals and would be an asset to taking care of yours. I want to be available to take care of your pet(s) when needed. My house is very safe and contained. About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
