About: I grew up with dogs and I’ve been a dog owner most of my adult life. I’ve also been a dog owner from the puppy age of eight weeks all the way through mature life. I can take care of other pets as well, and I can be available for dog boarding, dog sitting, dog walks, and other pet care during your weekends and travels. I am a part-time parent and establishing this as additional income since I am a single income household in Marin county. I am available for dog walking and boarding on alternating weekends, and during periods of your travels when I am in town. I am an outdoors woman, and will get pets outside and active regularly. I know several local dog parks and dog-friendly trails since I’ve been a dog owner myself for years (I no longer have a dog as of early 2025). I have a fenced front and backyard. I can house a pet with all of your personal items for the pet anywhere in my home, and I can provide highly personalized care since I live alone (part time parent with alternating weekends on my own).

“Ivy is so kind and great with my 2 dogs. I was able to have a great time exploring SF while knowing my dogs were in good hands. I got lots of photo updates on how they were doing. About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. But I could! I work from home most days. I write, so I sit at my desk and I don't move much. I love having a cat on the desk or a well-exercised dog in their bed waiting for my next move. I go downtown twice a week, but I have a retired neighbor who volunteers at Animal Control and the SF Zoo who is nuts about dog-walking to fill-in for noontime walks. I like to treat all pets like they're my own, with a little extra in an auntie kind of way. I am an expert Kong-stuffer and a tug of war extremist, with a nice car that I don't mind getting hairy or muddy. Poo and litter are not things I shy away from. I love the smell of pet feet.

Amber has a great chill way with dogs and is a reliable and cheerful person to work with. Would definitely use again.
Krystle was not only great with Leo and Bailey, bonding with them instantly and taking them on a wonderful Sunday afternoon walk, but endlessly patient and flexible with their owner, who kept screwing up, and changing, the requested date and service times. Krystle was lovely to deal with and we would happily engage her again--and again.
Ariane and her family are fantastic. We spend a lot of time with our dog, so she becomes pretty anxious when we leave her with other people. Ariane has the patience and calmness to allow her to settle in and have a good day. Ariane also lives in a very dog-friendly area that is perfect for a dog that needs some recreation. Our dog was, of course, excited to see me when I picked her up, but she had the type of chill that she only gets after a good day of exercise and love. Highly recommend Ariane.
Anu was very responsive from the moment we connected, answered texts right away. We set a meet and greet at her place that was helpful. And she was prompt and on top of her game when we left Mushu with her, feeding and walking him. She was attentive to instructions for care. I’d use her services again in a heartbeat!
