Hi! We’re Christina & Zach—lifelong animal lovers with 40+ years of combined experience. I grew up on a farm where my mom bred Newfoundlands & Great Pyrenees, so caring for dogs has always been second nature. Over the years, I’ve had German Shepherds, an Alaskan Malamute, Boxer, Rottweiler, Pomeranian, Samoyed and mixed breeds. Zach grew up with a horse and has had Black Labs, German Shepherds, Peekapoos, Pitbulls, Golden Retrievers and Boxers—he’s known as the “dog whisperer” among friends and family. OUR HOME & CARE: We both work from home as Creative Directors & Designers, so your dog will rarely (if ever) be left alone. We provide a calm, attentive environment with long daily walks (AM + PM), playtime and a fenced backyard. We’re happy to follow your dog’s routine, preferences and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. We also have experience working with animals in therapeutic settings (horses and dogs), which informs our calm, intuitive approach to care. THE BAY AREA / DOG & HOUSESITTING We are currently active house and pet sitting across Marin & Sonoma counties and the East Bay. We relocated to the Bay Area in summer 2026 and are settling into the region while continuing to care for pets and homes locally. Christina and Zach were the best pet sitters we have ever had and would highly recommend them! They took such great care of our dog, hosting her in their home for 10 days. They went above and beyond, taking her on adventures and sending frequent updates throughout her stay. They were so accommodating, allowing her to feel right at home with her beds, toys, feeding schedule and even allowing her up on the furniture for cozy snuggles! We will definitely rebook soon!
Christina and Zach are absolutely amazing!!! Our two Bostons immediately felt at home when we arrived. Christina and Zach met them with excitement and patience. They sent pictures throughout the stay and kept us up to speed. This was our first experience with Rover as we are very protective of our Bostons, but Christina and Zach made us feel so at ease. We will definitely be asking Christina and Zach to take care of Mason and Meadow again. I highly recommend this fantastic couple!
Christina and Zach were fantastic! I got pictures every day of Paige while my husband and I were in Las Vegas for our wedding. They spoiled Paige and went out of their way to make her comfortable during her stay. I would book again with Christina and Zach any opportunity I can!

The best doggie sitter . Masha loved them so much. They were constantly in touch with us by sending photos and updates. They are like family now and I can’t wait to travel again and leave Masha in great hands. If I can give 10 Stars I would. Thank you so Much
Christina & Zach took care of my rescue puppy for three days while I was out of town and they were absolutely the best. Since he was still in training, I left them with a very detailed (and tbh prob over-the-top!) list of rules and training guidelines…and they still followed everything to a T. There were no lapses in his training at all. Super relieving! C and Z were patient, attentive and genuinely invested in his well being, which made me feel at ease, even though I was honestly stressed to leave him initially and feeling guilty. I would not hesitate to trust them with my dog again and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for responsible, caring, fun and detail-oriented pet care legit for any length of time.

Programa
SCHEDULE: Flexible, with daily walks (typically 2–4 miles total or more if needed). Additional walks and care tailored to your dog’s needs. We work from home for ourselves. EXPECTATIONS: I’m an interior designer and take great pride in maintaining a beautiful home. I’m on Rover for the love of dogs—not for income—so I’m selective to protect my space. All dogs must arrive freshly groomed with nails trimmed prior to drop-off. Thank you for understanding.

SAFETY, TRUST, ENVIRONMENT: In our home we have a fenced in backyard they can enjoy. We can accommodate their dog bed in (or out) of our bedroom or can also crate them at night — if you prefer. RATES & FIT: We may charge higher rates for larger breeds or dogs requiring additional time, energy, or care. This ensures every dog receives the attention they deserve and that we are fairly compensated.

FUN ACTIVITIES: Play tug of war, fetch, hide treats for them to find in the house, receive treats for commands, explore the neighborhood with lots of time for new smells, go for walks or runs exploring the trails around Mt Tam Watershed, maybe even hit the dog-friendly beaches in West Marin.
