While I did not grow up with pets in my own home, I made sure everyone else in my life that had pets knew that I was ready and willing to care for theirs. I officially began pet sitting in high school for friends, neighbors, and my parents coworkers. Once in college I studied animal behavior and took classes in training, animal care, and basic medication administration. Since graduating college I have worked part time at a pet hotel, taken an internship at an exotic and wild animal sanctuary, and currently work full time at a service dog training facility. Through all these experiences I am confident that I am able to provide excellent care for your furry family member, no matter the breed, species, age, medical needs, or any other unique qualities your animal may have.

My profile picture is of me and my personal dog that I got in high school, and since he was the first pet I owned, I was a bit of a helicopter mom. I value routine, structure, and ample communication from pet sitters for my own dog, so I always provide the same for others. If you are the the type of parent that has a document printed of all your dogs needs, I will follow it to a T. On the other hand if you just want someone to cuddle your fur baby and feed them twice a day, I am also your gal! Your pet is one if the most important members of your family, and I promise to treat them and your home with the upmost respect and care (as if they were both my own). Thank you for trusting me!
Ratings and reviews
Imani took great care of my puppy, adult cat and home. She sent me regular updates and photos and was really accommodating about the ongoing renovation project which meant workers were coming and going from the house. I highly recommend Imani and look forward to hiring her again.

Schedule
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION IT IS VERY IMPORTANT: I work a full time in person job (on Saturday and Sunday as well) so my availability during the day is limited. Depending on how far your home is from my job I can quickly let your dog outside to relieve during my lunch break. In this case they will be alone for roughly 4 hours in the morning and again in the afternoon. If your home is too far from my job then I will not be able to let your dog outside during my lunch and they will be alone for roughly 8 hours during the day. I will be sure to double check this before booking but please consider this before inquiring. However, I can provide overnight pet sitting care any day of the week, so if you need to be away from the home for a few days I will be happy to love and care for your pet during that time.
