“Chris is very caring and conscientious and we appreciate his attention to detailed instructions for our dogs so much. He arrived and took the dogs for their walk on schedule and even spent some time with them after their walk. Our dogs can be persnickety and willful but he is very patient with them.”

About: I have extensive experience babysitting for families with children of all ages, which has made me highly responsible, patient, attentive, and great at handling different personalities and routines. I also have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, making me flexible and dependable for walks, drop-ins, or last-minute needs. In addition, my experience working at Starbucks taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate professionally, multitask efficiently, and provide excellent care and service in fast-paced environments. I have a flexible and well-balanced schedule that allows me to consistently make time for pet care throughout the day. I’m usually up early, making mornings great for walks, feedings, or check-ins, and I have availability throughout the afternoon and evenings for longer visits, playtime, exercise, or overnight care. I’m very organized and used to balancing multiple responsibilities, so I’m dependable when it comes to maintaining routines and giving pets consistent attention, care, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care by closely following each owner’s instructions, routines, and preferences. Whether I’m caring for pets in a client’s home or taking them on walks, I make sure they feel secure, well-supervised, and given plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and bathroom breaks. I’m attentive to pets’ behavior and needs, keep environments clean and safe, and always communicate with owners through updates and photos so they feel confident their pet is in good hands.

“Thomas is super reliable and flexible with our last minute walk requests! He’s clearly a natural with dogs — our 75lb chocolate lab loves him and comes home happy and ready for nap.”

“Krystle has been great with my dog, who hates walks without me. My dog is happy to see her come to the door and enjoy the walks. Krystle is always on time and responsive to the needs of me and my dog. I’m so happy I found her on Rover.”

About: Lifelong dog owner experienced caring for dogs at every stage of life, from puppies to senior dogs with ongoing health needs. Comfortable with medication routines, special diets, and following detailed care instructions. I provide attentive, reliable care focused on keeping each dog safe, comfortable, and well looked after. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine as my primary focus right now. I’m currently dedicating my time to building consistent availability for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and I plan my schedule around each booking to ensure reliable, attentive care. This allows me to be flexible, responsive, and fully present for each pet I’m caring for. I care for pets in a way that prioritizes safety, routine, and comfort in their familiar environment. In a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication routines, walk guidelines, and house rules to keep the pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I take time to understand each pet’s temperament, energy level, and needs so I can adjust my approach accordingly, whether that’s a calm drop-in visit, an active walk, or extended sitting care. During walks and potty breaks, I stay attentive to surroundings, use secure leashing at all times, and avoid risky interactions with unfamiliar animals. For drop-ins and sitting, I focus on companionship, play, feeding, and maintaining cleanliness, including litter boxes or accident cleanup as needed. My goal is always to provide calm, reliable care that keeps pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: I’ve cared for my family friends' dogs while they were away, which helped me understand the importance of building trust with both pets and owners. I am currently enrolled in school on weekends and trade school in evening. I and available during weekday mornings and afternoons to provide reliable dog sitting services. My cats are indoor-only, and my dog enjoys a large backyard for play. Due to my cats' territorial nature, it might be challenging to accommodate other animals in my home.

About: I’ve always loved dogs which is why I’ve worked with dogs professionally for over 6 years and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I currently work at AlphaDog Lodging where I supervise groups of 50–100 dogs, prepare meals and medications, assist with bathing, complete behavior reports, and help with daily care and check-ins. I also volunteered with Marin Humane Society’s dog training program and completed a dog training internship in Colombia, where I worked with dogs using both English and Spanish commands. I’ve owned and trained my own dogs as well, including a Doberman Pinscher and Yorkshire Terrier. I’m patient, reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog needs playtime, walks, structure, or extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I currently work 4–5 days a week with dogs professionally, but outside of my shifts I have flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, potty breaks, and house sitting. On my days off, as well as before or after work, I love spending extra time caring for pets and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I’m especially interested in house sitting and caring for dogs in the comfort of their own home where they feel most relaxed and safe. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I have previous experience house and dog sitting, and I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and affection while their owners are away. Because of my professional experience working with large groups of dogs, I’m comfortable handling different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I always follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any specific care requests to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their home environment.
About: I’ve had a dog for my entire life and also have experience volunteering at local humane societies. I have some experience with senior and special needs dogs with my most recent family dog being a rescue with behavioral issues who is now in her golden years. I’m currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pup! I’m available Tuesday through Thursday and my timing is flexible between job and school applications. I like to replicate your pet’s daily routine as much as possible (with a few adventures added in if possible) to keep stress levels low and spirits high.

Jackson is great with my dogs. I have one rescue who is very nervous with new people and strangers, particularly men. She warmed up to Jackson quickly as he knew to give her space and not engaged with her until she was more comfortable with his presence. Jackson is really great to work with. He’s responsive and responsible. I look forward to working with Jackson more times..

Marielle was exactly who we needed to help with our dogs; we're so grateful to have found her! She confidently handled our two dogs walking through the neighborhood, including one that has some leash aggression and one that is prone to eating whatever he can find. She was punctual, communicative, and reported all the details of the walks each day - including photos! We knew our dogs were in good hands; we'll definitely be contacting her again for future walks. She's the best!

Caroline was great to work with when coordinating a walk for my dog, gave very special attention to my dog (and got some great photos from their walk), and by the time Caroline brought my dog back from her walk, my typically shy dog was already ready to go out on a walk again with Caroline!

We highly recommend Devon for any pet-sitting & dog walking needs! She leaves detailed notes and plenty of photos, great to have when we are away and want to make sure our dog is in good hands. We trust our dog is well taken care of any time we leave her with Devon, plus she is so easy-going and a pleasure to communicate with - so grateful we found her!!

Sarah was excellent to work with -- communicative, friendly, and great with our girls. They are each 40lbs of energy and not the easiest to control sometimes -- but she worked with them to earn their trust and be their walk leader. Additionally, even though most of the walks were scheduled during a heat wave, zero complaints from Sarah, and she smartly knew to make the sure dogs didn't get overheated by limiting the distance and making sure they had water. Highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a conscientious person to take care of their pets!
