About: Howdy I’m Serena! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I raised and looked after a variety of animals—including turtles, bunnies, and kittens—which taught me early on that every pet has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I trained all of them myself with modernizing the methods as the practices changed over time. In High School I worked for a veterinary clinic washing dogs and administering vaccines as well as meds. I was a teacher for 20 years and am super resourceful. I've always had dogs. For me, life would be empty without them, and I'm one of these crazy people who would do absolutely anything to meet their needs!! You can definitely trust that I'll do everything to give your dog the best!! I LOVE DOGS & CATS!! Not to mention horses, ponies and rabbits! About: I have been a pet parent to a yellow lab named Sasha. During her lifetime, we went on many hikes, many swim adventures and had lots of snuggle time. I miss her dearly, so to help with that I was a volunteer at Guide Dogs for the Blind. I love both dogs and cats and have been asked by friends and family alike to care for their precious pets. I can provide one on one dog walks as well as potty breaks and cat visits. I've been doing this for 10 years plus. My daily schedule is flexible and I have the capability to fit my schedule around whatever your needs are. I am also happy to make any last-minute changes that a client may have. I make sure that I know each pets veterinary care phone number in case of an emergency. As well, I always make sure the areas that I plan to walk with dogs have a clear path and therefore hopefully free of ticks. When cat sitting or doing drop ins for cat owners I make sure that I have all veterinary and emergency contact info. as well.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have hands on experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments, including high energy dogs like Weimaraners and Whippets as well as strong breeds like Pit Bulls. I raised my own Weimaraner from a few months old to his current age of 8, so I understand everything from puppy training and structure to caring for older dogs. When dogs stay with me, I keep them active, engaged, and on a consistent routine. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, hikes, or runs depending on their energy level, and I make sure they get plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. I treat every dog like family and focus on making them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing. I’m currently a college student with a relatively light class schedule, which allows me to be home and available most days of the week. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, regular walks, and consistent care throughout the day. I’m reliable about keeping routines, making sure dogs get exercise, and being present so they’re not left alone for long periods. My schedule makes it easy for me to accommodate different needs and provide attentive, dependable care I have one dog who is great with other dogs and a spacious home with a big deck and living room. I make sure to take my dog on at least two walks a day to the park, offering plenty of outdoor exercise. While I can crate dogs if needed, I prefer spending quality time with pets to ensure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in my care.

My last dog was a husky who I had for 13 wonderful years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for dogs through every stage of life, from energetic puppies to senior companions. I especially love huskies (and other active breeds), and I’m very comfortable with their energy levels, quirks, and need for stimulation. Living in Marin is a huge bonus for the dogs I watch. I spend a lot of time trail running and exploring around Mt. Tam, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air, adventure, and enrichment (if they’re up for it!). Whether your dog is high-energy and loves the outdoors or prefers a slower, more relaxed pace, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel right at home. I work at LinkedIn as a program manager and am super grateful they let me work remotely! When I'm traveling (while working), I love trail running, cycling, and eating sushi. I usually come back to the Bay Area a few times a year for in-person work events. Otherwise, I'm usually on a trail somewhere in the mountains. I have a fenced yard, but will only allow dogs outside if they are being watched. Dogs are always allowed on furniture, but if you prefer them not to be, I will be sure to reinforce proper training to them.
