About: Welcoming all furry friends! See below for a bit about what to expect: - I live and work remotely from my Mill Valley home. I currently have a flexible work schedule, so have plenty of extra time to dedicate to your pup! - I live in a home just a few short blocks from the park, with a variety of dog friendly places within walking distance. 5-10 minutes away from amazing hiking trails, so there is quite a bit to see and do. - i’m extremely active (typically run every morning, and often head out on long hikes or day trips over the weekend), so am more than happy to wear your pup out running or playing if it's something they enjoy. Also able to just provide tons of love and company for senior dogs or those that prefer a more lazy agenda! - Extensive experience in pet care: I raised my 3.5 year old golden retriever from puppyhood, grew up with dogs, I’ve been dog sitting via Rover for years, volunteering at rescue centers, etc. You're in good hands! - I have an SUV for beach trips, hikes, or providing any pick up/drop off necessary! Just let me know if you need help with coordinating a pick up or drop off with your dog before or after your trip. Please reach out at any time to my via text or phone! Always happy to provide frequent updates and additional pictures! I have my own pup who typically requires a decent bit of exercise, but willing to accommodate your dog’s personal schedule! Living on a park makes it easy to accommodate frequent bathroom trips. I treat all pets like part of the family! Regular interaction, cuddles, tricks, treats, and training when desired. I like to make sure we all head out on minimum one long walk per day.
About: I’ve had small dogs since I was little, but I rescued my soul dog, Leica, from Muttville in 2017. Over the years, I administered lots of cheese pills and brushed the few teeth he had. We went on lots of adventures from the office to the beach and mountains. Unfortunately his last 6 months were fraught with a neurological disorder. I believe it’s a honor to care for senior dogs and keep them comfortable as a small return of the love they given. While it was a honor, it was not easy and it gave me a deep understanding of the needs of senior dogs. I love all dogs but the little old ones are extra special to me ❤️ Any dog or cat I care for, I will do so with 100% attention, love, respect for them and your home, and routines. Because I really do care so deeply about their health and safety, I will not be caring for more than one pet at a time. We’ll relax or play in the evening depending on their temperament. I have no other pets and many options for areas of my apartment where they can be set up to feel at home. No backyard but very close to the park. Up three flights of stairs but happy to carry smaller dogs if that’s what they need. I also still have a dog stroller for less mobile friends! For their safety I won’t ever let them off leash.
