Colorado Dog Mom On Marin Trails

I’m a dog-obsessed Colorado mom living at the Ring Mountain trailhead in Tiburon — which means your pup gets daily hikes, trails, and adventures as a baseline, not a bonus. Friends say I “speak dog” — and honestly, I’ve had a dog by my side for most of my life. I even took mine to college, then spent my career in outdoor sports brands and eventually ran my own PR firm where dogs were always welcome in the office. Due to my husband’s allergies, I can only accept doodles and poodles — but trust me, if I could take them all, I would. One recent guest said it best: “Liz was the best mama bear of all time. Luna came back exhausted and better behaved. Queen!!” Your dog will thrive here.

Elizabeth was awesome and took great care of our puppy. She was really responsive and communicative which we greatly appreciated. Oliver came back from being with her happy and tired from all the playing. Would highly recommend her!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

After years in the corporate world, I’m taking a intentional break to focus on my family — which means your dog gets my full attention, not a distracted caregiver squeezing in pet care between Zoom calls. Our two kids (9 and 12) are dog-crazy and gentle with animals, so your pup will have a full house of people who adore them. Our mini goldendoodle Moose is the ideal companion — easygoing, gentle, and playful with every dog he meets, making him the perfect social ambassador for any new four-legged guest.

Safety, trust & environment

As for the setup — it doesn’t get much better. We have a fully fenced backyard, and our home sits on a Tiburon cul-de-sac at the base of Ring Mountain, so Ring Mountain essentially serves as our extended backyard. Zero traffic, long driveway, completely safe. A typical day looks like this: morning yard time, at least one — often two — long walks or a trail hike, afternoon play, and evenings full of couch snuggles. Bedtime options include a crate, dog bed, or floor space in our room so your pup never sleeps alone. Your dog won’t just be watched here. They’ll be part of the family.
