“Sophie, with a lifetime of experience taking care of dogs, was wonderful with our yellow Lab. Her home has an ample backyard area and is quite welcoming to dogs. Her Boston Terrier plays very nicely with others. Our Lab got lots of love and attention from Sophie, including regular walks in the low-traffic neighborhood near Dominican U. It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. She did so with our 4 year-old Lab.”

About: Growing up, I have always been around animals. I currently have a dog and two cats of my own that I love unconditionally. I have house sat for families with a variety of pets. From taking care of cats, dogs, geckos, and chinchillas, I have found myself to be very responsible person and loving towards all animals, giving them all the attention they need. Being a very active person, I will always give your pet plenty of exercise.

We were a bit nervous to leave our two rescue dogs for 10 days for the first time, but Mary handled them with grace and ease, and took extremely good care of them. Chris + Aiste took care of my dog Ackee like their own! When we arrived at their house she felt immediately at home and i knew she would be well taken care of. They truly seemed to enjoy and see the best in her and she had so much fun. They sent me many updates of her going on hikes and napping in the sun. Ackee would love to stay with them again!

Jaimi was exceptional! Having just rolled into town from out of state and posting my dogsitting need on Rover on short notice, Jaimi was quick to provide a friendly response as well as to answer my rapid fire questions, offering a meet and greet with she and her cute and well-behaved dog, Ollie. My dog (whom I rarely place into a stranger’s care) has a history of seizures and is need of routine pill administration and careful oversight. Jaimi was super attentive and followed my protocol to a “t”. My dog loved her, Ollie and the family, as did I. I will use her again in an instant and refer her to my friends and family.

Ron is a rockstar! This was our first time using Rover as we are usually full-time in our RV and take our dog, Koda, with us everywhere but had a retreat he could not come with. It was our first time leaving him with a new person and Ron soothed our fear immediately. We did a virtual meet and greet which was helpful in making sure he was a good fit and when the time came we dropped Koda off early to ease him in. Ron was the greatest sending us pupdates and took Koda on a 5-mile run and hike which are his favorites! He was taken care of with extraordinary care and we would not hesitate to use Ron again when in town. He definitely cares for your dogs like his own and truly does it for the love of having them around! Big thanks!
Maria was absolutely wonderful in every way with my 2 Labs. So thoughtful & thorough - she made them feel right at home. She has an amazing space & yard as well as the most adorable pup. It felt to good to know they were in great hands. I’d have them stay with her again in a heartbeat!
