“Emily was wonderful! We arranged a meeting in advance to give my dog a chance to see the space and place. Then Emily was flexible with timing as we firmed up plans. She took great care of Aubrey and her dog Gigi was a super pal for Aubrey.”

“We were worried that our Mimi would be very anxious away from us - but she fit right in to Deborah’s home and we were able to enjoy our time away knowing she was truly cared for. Deborah was great at communication too and seeing Mimi’s smiles in the pictures was wonderful. Definitely will ask Deborah again if the need arises. Thank you!”
“Ellen is amazing. Excellent communication. Clearly wonderful at her work. Left my new and very petite puppy with her and picked up a super happy little girl. Your dog will be in great hands! :)”

About: Hello! I have cared for animals of every kind since I was able to hold a leash, brush a cat, and collect chicken eggs. I'm a Mill Valley mom, educator, and current owner of two sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have owned cats, dogs, chickens, rodents and birds. I keep bees as an active beekeeper. I am experienced with medically fragile animals and am comfortable giving all meds, including subcutaneous fluids. I have fostered for years with Marin Humane and Milo as well as professionally pet sitting through Trusted House Sitters and Home Exchange in addition to Rover. My home is warm, safe, child and animal friendly. My yard is fenced and my children (ages 8 and 14) love share in the caring of animals. We all care deeply about animals and will give yours all the love they need. We would love to have your dogs join our pack for awhile! I am an educator and off for the summer. I have plenty of time to care for your pets along with my own. My kids and I stay local and have adventures and relaxing downtime all summer long. I have a large, fenced yard that includes hill side. My house is warm, cozy, pet and kid friendly. My dogs sleep on my bed and I'm fine if yours want to also. We love neighborhood walks and throwing balls in the backyard.
“We were very happy with the care our dog received. Mila was communicative, attentive to our instructions, and clearly took great care of our dog while we were away. It gave us real peace of mind knowing everything was being handled so well. We’re grateful to have found someone we can trust and would gladly book with her again.”

“We cannot recommend Lori and Frank more highly. This was Daisy’s very first time with a pet sitter, and as a rescue pup she can be a bit nervous in new situations. From the moment we met them, Lori and Frank immediately made her feel comfortable—not just with them, but also with their wonderful adult children. They took exceptional care of Daisy and truly made her part of their family. Thanks to their calm, loving environment, Daisy even gained the confidence to make a new doggy friend with another pet guest during her stay, which meant so much to us. We loved receiving regular updates and photos, and it was clear every step of the way that Daisy was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Leaving your dog for the first time is never easy, but Lori and Frank made the entire experience completely stress-free. We are so grateful for the love and attention they gave Daisy and would trust them again without hesitation.”

“Once again, Cody enjoyed his stay. Thanks for taking such good care of him! Wenxin and Cham sent regular updates and made sure our dog felt at home. Appreciate that they take him to the dog park and give him lots of treats and cuddles.”

“Alex was such a warm, caring & communicative sitter for my Ringo. After a quick meet and greet before his boarding stay, I had no doubt Ringo was going to be so happy with her, as well as her gorgeous little Chowder. She sent me photo updates each day, took Ringo out on hiking adventures and lots of love and care. I’ll definitely be booking her again and highly recommend!”

“Bianca is fantastic! We have a senior dog and Bianca goes above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. After our dog’s first stay with her, we immediately booked our next one with her because of how great she is. Our dog is clearly so much happier staying with Bianca than when we used to take her to the kennel. Highly recommend!”

About: I'm the friend who everyone asks to take care of their dog (including senior dogs). I love our furry friends—and appreciate every families trust. I raised a Bichon puppy and later cared for her as a 12 year old senior dog. I have fostered and helped to train 4 rescue dogs through the Milo Foundation and frequently pop by to volunteer walk Milo dogs. I am an executive who works from home so I am at the dog's side non-stop and have the flexibility to take several walks a day. I'm also a 5 minute drive to Blackie's Pasture for longer walks. I have a super clean home. The dogs are allowed everywhere. I have a very clean, safe home. I also have access to popular dog parks/walks. I pay close attention to dietary restrictions, etc. And when it comes to passing another dog on leash I always ask if the dog is friendly. I'm a mom to an 11 year old—I care for dogs like they are kiddos.
“Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”

“Awesome sitter! Super easy to work with, great communication, and sent photo updates. Scouty was in great hands and came home happy and tired (in the best way). Would highly recommend!”

“Christian was great taking care of our little Fig. He was very prompt at responding to our last-minute request and was a good communicator overall. It sounds like he has a lot of experience taking care of a variety of breeds. We will definitely be using Christian again!”

“Mary was absolutely wonderful with Kona. She was also incredibly understanding when our needs changed and her flexibility was very much appreciated. Kona came home tired and happy and we will certainly use her in the future.”

“They were awesome! Every day they sent us updates on how our dog was doing, including photos and little bits and pieces about their day. As someone who is nervous about leaving their dog, this was super reassuring. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely rebook with them again!!”

“Tatiana and Renat took amazing care of our dog! We were on a long trip and did not have to worry a bit as we regularly received wonderful messages with pictures from Tatiana updating us about how things were going. We are so grateful for the great care that they provided. ❤️”

“Melissa was so good with our poodle Stormy. She was able to read our dog’s requests and moods to ensure Stormy’s comfort. Not always an easy feat! Melissa kept us well informed about Stormy’s chronic eye issue. And she also sent pictures and stories every day. Very reassuring. At the end of the visit, Stormy watched Melissa walk away, which means Stormy felt an emotional bond with Melissa. ❤️ Would not hesitate to book with Melissa again in the future!”

“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. Indi came home happy, calm, and healthy — we couldn’t ask for more. 💛🐾”

Deborah was fantastic! She was nice enough to accommodate us same day and could not have been nicer. We could tell instantly when we arrived that she was going to take great care of our dog Otto. She took him on walks, took him to the beach, sent lots of great photos, and even bought him some pup cups! Her children were also absolutely lovely and obviously made Otto feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend using Deborah services! You cannot go wrong!

We trust Emily with kid Javier when we need to go out of town and have been so happy to know that he is in such good hands. Emily makes sure Javier gets exercise, takes him for walks, hikes and gives him plenty of snuggle time! We love getting photo updates and will definitely keep taking him to her.

Ellen was professional from start to finish, making us feel our pup was safe and taken care of while we were away, including text and photo updates. Our doggo is a bit shy and anxious, and Ellen knew just how to connect with him and get to know his personality. It was our first time leaving our pup for a night away from home and we/our pup couldn’t have asked for a better first experience.

Frankie had a wonderful time with Morgan and Svet and was very well taken care of! I could tell when I picked her up how comfortable she was in their house and with their family! Communication with Morgan was great and I loved all the pics and updates she sent over. Thanks for taking such good care of Frankie

Christian was great taking care of our little Fig. He was very prompt at responding to our last-minute request and was a good communicator overall. It sounds like he has a lot of experience taking care of a variety of breeds. We will definitely be using Christian again!

I love that Etienne and Emilie treated Tobi like he was a member of their family. They took him on hikes and to the beach - all things he loves. When Tobi was dropped off, he ran right into their house and he seemed happy and healthy when we picked him up. I would love for them to sit for Tobi again if they would accept him!
