Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. About: I grew up with dogs and I’ve been a dog owner most of my adult life. I’ve also been a dog owner from the puppy age of eight weeks all the way through mature life. I can take care of other pets as well, and I can be available for dog boarding, dog sitting, dog walks, and other pet care during your weekends and travels. I am a part-time parent and establishing this as additional income since I am a single income household in Marin county. I am available for dog walking and boarding on alternating weekends, and during periods of your travels when I am in town. I am an outdoors woman, and will get pets outside and active regularly. I know several local dog parks and dog-friendly trails since I’ve been a dog owner myself for years (I no longer have a dog as of early 2025). I have a fenced front and backyard. I can house a pet with all of your personal items for the pet anywhere in my home, and I can provide highly personalized care since I live alone (part time parent with alternating weekends on my own).

She came back so tired and happy I’m very grateful.

Chris + Aiste took care of my dog Ackee like their own! When we arrived at their house she felt immediately at home and i knew she would be well taken care of. They truly seemed to enjoy and see the best in her and she had so much fun. They sent me many updates of her going on hikes and napping in the sun. Ackee would love to stay with them again!

Jaimi was exceptional! Having just rolled into town from out of state and posting my dogsitting need on Rover on short notice, Jaimi was quick to provide a friendly response as well as to answer my rapid fire questions, offering a meet and greet with she and her cute and well-behaved dog, Ollie. My dog (whom I rarely place into a stranger’s care) has a history of seizures and is need of routine pill administration and careful oversight. Jaimi was super attentive and followed my protocol to a “t”. My dog loved her, Ollie and the family, as did I. I will use her again in an instant and refer her to my friends and family.
Ariane looked after our dog for four nights while we were away, and she was amazing! Our dog immediately took to her and I could tell he would be in the best hands. He looked so comfortable and happy when I picked him up, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. She was very communicative and sent daily photos and videos of him. We look forward to using Ariane again soon!
Laura & Joseph were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly responsive, kept us updated with great photos, and made us feel completely at ease. When we picked Rainbow up, she was calm and relaxed, which honestly never happens when we leave her with others. That alone says so much about the care and attention they gave her. We truly appreciate everything they did and will absolutely be booking with them again!
Kathryn & her beautiful black lab Ogden as well as their home-sanctuary was unbelievable and the care & amount of love and attention that they exhibited for and with our little girl Aka was more than we could of expected. Aka was elated, overjoyed, and in-love from the moment we did a meet-and-greet, and the drop-off and pick-up moments felt like she was truly in heaven. Her black lab Ogden, was one of the most gentle and kind large dogs I have ever seen, he was very polite, welcoming, and was so gentle when asking Aka to play — she has been known to be shy and often struggled to introduce play with other dogs (but NOT with Ogden). I think she has found a 2nd home, a new dog-lover & best friend, and we will be returning more often to hang out & of course use Kathryn’s services in the future when needed!
