“Sylvia and her family are all we hoped they would be. Attentive, reliable, caring, thoughtful, well-organized and responsive. Not only did they take wonderful care of our dog while we were away, they sent pictures daily and maintained a schedule I knew would keep our dog well. I could let go completely, knowing our put was in great hands AND having wonderful time. We will be back.”

“Great sitter. We were a bit nervous at first cuz our dog has some bad tendencies but she was great at controlling his leash aggression and kept us updated the whole time. Really great experience overall!”

“Tamara was a great host for our dog Pikachu! She sent pictures throughout his stay and went above and beyond to make him comfortable. We were able to fully relax knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely use her for boarding in the future.”

“Jesse was absolutely great with Suge! Whenever I reached out, he responded quickly and sent a picture/video too! It was so nice. Pick up and drop off went smoothly as well. Will definitely be booking with Jesse if need be in the future!”

“Five star +++ experience. I almost hate to leave a review because we want them all to ourselves! Lori & Frank treated my dogs like their own — they showered them with love and attention and took exceptional care of them. They sent adorable pictures and kept me updated (without being annoying about it) while I was out of the country for 9 days. They have a lovely cozy dog-friendly home, and a very nice fully fenced yard. They are both super kind dog lovers and also responsible adults so you can feel comfortable leaving your beloved pooch or pooches in their care. Just the best.”

“Lori was wonderful - responsive, easy communication throughout the booking process and stay. She has extensive experience taking care of dogs and having Hank there as a doggy companion was a great bonus. She also sent us a bunch of photos of Ollie, which we really appreciated. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Sara was extremely communicative from the beginning. We felt heard and understood and immediately wanted to book her for her experience with foster and rescue dogs. She has a calming personality and we felt confident that she can handle our doggo, who has moderate separation anxiety. She sent us daily updates, sometimes hilarious, that kept us feeling good about our decision to have her watch over our dog for two weeks. Our dog's quirks and behaviors didn't seem to bother her even as much as we pressed for more details and "are you sure?!" texts. We are extremely grateful for the positive reassurance she gave us (it made our travel plans less stressful) and would absolutely book her again!”
“My pup had a great overnight stay at Julie's! Pick up and drop off was very smooth and she was a great communicator/quick responses. Will definitely be booking again!”

“I honestly could not recommend Taylor more. He was brilliant with our puppy. She had a brilliant time with him. We were away for 2 weeks and Taylor sent pictures daily which put us at ease. Our flights got last minute changes and he was so accommodating around drop off and collection. Definitely going to book Taylor again.”

“First time using jeanette as a sitter and was not disappointed. I had to cancel and book a visit, both last minute and she was very accommodating. Will be booking her again next time I travel. Thank you jeanette and family!”

“Ellen did a fantastic job watching our pup for the weekend. She sent updates and pictures throughout and was extremely responsive. Would absolutely recommend and trust Ellen!”

About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
“Although I contacted Lovell & Lucas J. at almost the last minute (I ran into scheduling problems with the sitter I had set up), I was able to meet Lucas for a meet and greet right away. We set up the dates and everything went super smoothly. Lucas has a dog of his own. He clearly loves dogs, making mine feel very comfortable from the start. I had to go away for a wedding. Lucas kept me informed with messages and photos the whole time he had my pooch. His dog and mine slept on the same bed/couch. She was the perfect hostess. Lucas has a lovely yard and house - very accommodating! This was our first time with Lovell and Lucas J. I know we'll be back!”

“Yang was really great - she was very responsive and professional, took great care of our dog, and shared lots of updates to ease our anxiety (it was our first time leaving town without our puppy). I would highly recommend her!”

“Deborah was fantastic! She was nice enough to accommodate us same day and could not have been nicer. We could tell instantly when we arrived that she was going to take great care of our dog Otto. She took him on walks, took him to the beach, sent lots of great photos, and even bought him some pup cups! Her children were also absolutely lovely and obviously made Otto feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend using Deborah services! You cannot go wrong!”

“Tatiana was very helpful she took notice to things and quickly asked about them and even made adaptations to try and best support my little guy. Prince quickly went with her there was no hesitation.”

“We had a great experience with Sarita! She took care of our dog at her place for a week. She was super reliable, communicative (lots of great pics, videos, and updates), and our pup absolutely loved her and her family. Overall, we were at complete ease knowing our dog was with Sarita and we highly recommend her for any of your dog care needs!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
