“I was nervous about leaving my puppy for the first time and lee made it so easy and smooth. Billie had an amazing time and Lee put my mind at ease by sending me lots of videos and pictures. She's a great communicator and so clearly loves the puppies.”

“Muriel is the best! Our dog, River, loves her and always rushes to her door when getting dropped off for boarding. We’re grateful to have found a friendly and reliable pet sitter for River! Thanks again, Muriel! 🙂”

“Alex kept my golden retriever for a week and left me feeling GREAT about the boarding. From the daily pix & videos, it seemed that Alex integrated Mika into her family life completely, even having her at their backyard easter egg hunt! Mika got lots of play time & tons of petting, played with her daughters at the playground across the street, and did her napping right under Alex's feet when she was working. Such a great feeling to know your dog is well cared for when away. Thanks so much Alex!”

“Albie is so happy when he sees Isaac and Jordan! They took him for a long walk today and we’re so glad that he had so much fun with them. All our directions were followed perfectly. Albie says “see you next time””

“Megan and Jenny were a pleasure to meet and chat with. They took care of my dog exceptionally well with great updates and cute photos. My dog really vibed with them that she remembered their house after the initial meet and greet 🥹 thank you so much!”

“Gyasi is great! He took Sierra out for several walks each day, and some off leash play time too at the dog park. Sierra seemed right at home in all the photos and vids, and comfy on the couch and dog beds :-) Really appreciated his flexibility-- both for setting up a booking on short notice, and for when my flight was delayed and needed to schedule a later pickup. Very responsive and commutative; will book with him again!”

About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.
“Rachel is a terrific dog sitter! She is very responsive and communicative, and my dog had a great time with her and her dog. I appreciated the photos and videos of their beautiful hikes and play time.”

“Abigail was awesome and took great care of our almost 5 year old Havanese, Bailey. She was very responsive, quickly answering any questions we had. Her home and yard area were perfect. Bailey loved the extra walks and settled in nicely. We really appreciated all the photos and short videos Abigail sent letting us know Bailey was in excellent hands. We will definitely ask Abigail to watch Bailey the next time the need arises.”

“Robert and Brian are really great dog sitters for my dog Koda. He absolutely loves staying with them and has a blast going on long walks and adventures with Robert. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“Albina is amazing! 🥰 Her space is peaceful and perfect for dogs, and Midna looked so happy in every update she sent. Communication was easy and clear, and I could tell Midna was in great hands the whole time 💖. I’d definitely book with Albina again—she’s attentive, warm, and clearly loves what she does. Thanks for hosting my baby and being sweet and kind to her! 🥰🫶🏻”

“Leady was very communicative and shared videos throughout my dog’s stay with her. Leady was also very accommodating with my changing travel schedules. My puppy came back looking very happy and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future :)”

“I felt very comfortable leaving Jesse with Mariola. She sent me great pictures as updates. She is loving and really knows how to comfort dogs with anxiety. Would wholeheartedly recommend her!”

“I could not be more pleased and appreciative of how well Kristen and Ryan took care of my Solo. This is the longest I have been out of town in a while and I wanted Solo to be in a comfortable and secure place and with people that will look after her as if she was their own. Kristen and Ryan did that for sure. They kept me well informed of how Solo was doing and it really looked like Solo enjoyed her time with them. I highly recommend Kristen and Ryan and will defiantly book any future pet sitting I need with them.”

“Melina was our first Rover experience and she made the process so welcoming. We'd never left our dog overnight with someone he didn't know – he's anxious, reactive and has separation anxiety, so it was important to us that we worked with with someone who understands and is patient with him. Melina was all of that and more! Within hours she had him snuggling up to her, and by the evening he was sleeping curled up next to her head. We got regular updates throughout the stay (including pictures) and felt so at-ease knowing he was well cared for. We would absolutely recommend Melina as a Rover, and especially for anyone with a special needs dog or a shy pup. She was amazing!”

“Madeleine was great with my dog Julio! She took our very last minute request and was very responsive. She gave updates and photos each day, which put me at ease since Julio is a high anxiety dog. I would definitely book her again!”

“Returned to a very happy pup! Received photos and updates often while I was away and all the planning and coordination was easy peasy. Hope to see Karen and Hisako again when the need arises. Very sweet people.”

Kianna took a great care of our dog! She kept us in the loop by asking questions and sending fun pictures. Our dog seemed very happy and comfortable staying with Kianna and her dog Koa. We would highly recommend Kianna if you’re looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Lee was fantastic with my Maxwell. She takes in other smaller pups, and has some senior fur-babies that synced so well with my boy, who can get a little possessive with humans, unless he has a few other friends to keep him company. She sent the cutest pics, stayed in consistent contact so I knew how he was doing. She went above and beyond to check in with me about his injury, which made me feel so reassured. Most importantly, Maxwell was very very happy being boarded with her. She loves on all the pets she cares for so generously. Safety. Communication. Love. These are the vital things. And Lee checks these (and then some!) boxes easily. Maxwell can't wait to hang with her and her crew again!

I immediately felt trusting of Rebecca - great communication, kind, and Layla was interested in her from the first meeting. When Layla came home calm and happy, that was enough for me to know that Rebecca will be a great addition to Layla's team. I would recommend her to anyone.

Madeleine was amazing! After our initial meet & greet I knew that our dog, Peanut, would be in great hands. Madeleine went above and beyond to make our somewhat anxious dog feel comfortable and safe. We received daily photos/messages which was a nice additional assurance that all was well. Peanut was happy upon pick-up, not just to see us but generally healthy and happy. No transition issues at all. We are so grateful!

Marlene did an excellent job of communicating about MacGuyver's issues while we were away, for which we were very grateful. It was obvious Marlene loved our special needs dog very much (he's blind) and she did her best to walk him twice a day despite him not wanting to walk. (He needed the exercise to get tired and sleep). We will definitely hire Marlene again; her personality is super gentle and kind. Her apartment was impeccably clean every time I visited (3 times). THANK YOU MARLENE!
