It can be very nerve wracking to leave your fur baby somewhere new, especially for an entire week, but immediately, I knew my senior pug Pennie was in excellent hands with Mariola! In fact, so much so, that Pennie was more than content to stick around longer when I came to take her home on day 8. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and I always want to be around animals! I grew up with big dogs (75+ lbs and 50+) who loved to run and play. I’m very good at handling high energy pups. I also volunteered at the Peninsula Humane Society for 3 years in high school, and more recently began walking dogs for BACS in Berkeley. I’m a full time college student who makes time to go for runs. I’d love to bring a pet with me for a run or nice walk! In the evenings, I dedicate a few hours to self care and would absolutely make TLC with a pet a big part of that. I’m very, very busy on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I could probably only take care of a very active or high support needs animal from Friday through Monday. I live in an apartment and have my own room. We’ve had dogs stay over before, and are equipped with what they need. Also, my place is close to Willard Park, so I could take an animal there for daily walks. I’m super chill with animals on my bed, but I also have plenty of space for a bed or crate if they prefer!

Liza was incredible! She took time to get to know Taika, understand her preferences and habits and they had a fabulous time together. Taika got tons of long walks and adventures and was clearly well cared for at home as well. Liza was very communicative, sharing photos and updates daily. Taika was so lucky to get to spend the time with Liza!
We had friends come to town with their beloved 16-year old pooch, and since we have a very nervous and territorial cat, Leslie was a great option for us for doggie care. She was so loving and kind and very responsive to their dog's special needs. He was a little anxious about being separated from his humans, and Leslie really went above and beyond to make him feel more comfortable, from taking him on extra walks to tire him out, to letting him curl up on her bed to make him feel more at home. We recommend Leslie very highly. She has wonderful, calm, loving energy and her home is tidy and welcoming, in an incredibly dog-friendly neighborhood with an amazing park, too.
Greta was amazing taking care of Maverick. You could tell from the moment they met to when I picked him up he was having a good time. Maverick is super active and she had no problem with that. She made sure to take him to the park, on walks, and was extremely prepared with her own toys. She was super nice sending updates and pictures too! I would definitely recommend having her watch your pup!
Luna saved the day when we had a sitter cancel last minute! She also showed so much care and concern for Hugo and really treated him like family. We got daily updates and photos, and Hugo had a great time sunning himself in the beautiful yard. We will happily rebook here :)
Pemba had a lovely stay with Stephanie and Adriel. They were very attentive to her needs, gave her lots of attention, played with her, and took her on walks around the neighborhood. There was a heat wave during Pemba’s visit, and they took special care to help her stay cool—walks at cooler times of the day, giving her ice cubes :) We had great communication. I appreciated that they asked if they didn’t know something, as it was the first time Pemba stayed with them. We got lots of photos and videos of a fun stay!
Jonah was incredible taking care of Baloo while we were away for over two weeks. Leaving your dog for that long can be stressful, but Jonah gave us complete peace of mind. He sent photo updates every single day and made sure Baloo stuck closely to his regular daily routine. We couldn’t be happier seeing Baloo come home healthy, relaxed, and in great spirits. Jonah is reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring we wouldn’t hesitate to book him again!
5/5 stars! I had the pleasure of having Monica watch my dog Lizzy for the first time this weekend, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience! From the moment Lizzy and I met her, Monica’s kindness, caring personality, and thoughtfulness shone through. During Lizzy’s stay, Monica was also wonderful about communicating with me, giving me complete peace of mind. Lizzy had an amazing time! Monica took her on hikes and made sure she got plenty of exercise and attention. When Lizzy came home, she was absolutely exhausted (in the best possible way) happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. It’s not always easy leaving your dog with someone new, but Monica made the whole experience feel completely comfortable. She is genuinely warm, responsible, and caring, and it was obvious that Lizzy felt right at home. I will absolutely trust Monica with Lizzy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their pup. Thank you, Monica!
Curt and Emma were incredible sitters for our senior dog Mimi. They cared for her for almost a month - the longest time (by far!) that we had ever left Mimi with anyone. They were loving and patient, flexible with our somewhat complicated schedule, and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and enjoying herself. It was such a relief to know she was in the hands of a couple who truly cared about her.
Danelle was fantastic watching Bowser for the day at her place! She was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and sent timely photo updates that gave me total peace of mind. She took excellent care of him, making sure he was fed on schedule, taking him on multiple walks, and giving him plenty of attention and playtime. Bowser clearly felt right at home. He was super happy and even slept like a baby while staying with her. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother daycare experience. I’d definitely have Danelle watch Bowser again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!
