“Once again, Cody enjoyed his stay. Thanks for taking such good care of him! Wenxin and Cham sent regular updates and made sure our dog felt at home. Appreciate that they take him to the dog park and give him lots of treats and cuddles.”

“Hope was recommended to us by another great Rover sitter, and we are really grateful. Hope is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. She made Coconut comfortable immediately. Her little dog Rocky is adorable and super friendly. Coconut loved going for walks and playing with Rocky's toys. Hope was great with sending text updates as well as photos and videos. Here's hoping Hope doesn't get too busy to have room for Coconut the next time we need her!”

“Christine was incredibly easy to communicate with, professional, and showed wonderful care for my dog Manchi! She navigated her anxiety and quirks so well, took her on a bunch of walks, and even gave me a polaroid of her holding a show, her favorite thing to do 😊”

“Danielle provided wonderful care for our anxious little dog, Blondie. Both she and her partner are equal parts capable and kind. Their house & yard are set-up perfectly to keep the dogs in their care active, happy & safe. We will definitely bring our dog back in the future.”

“Marlene did an excellent job of communicating about MacGuyver's issues while we were away, for which we were very grateful. It was obvious Marlene loved our special needs dog very much (he's blind) and she did her best to walk him twice a day despite him not wanting to walk. (He needed the exercise to get tired and sleep). We will definitely hire Marlene again; her personality is super gentle and kind. Her apartment was impeccably clean every time I visited (3 times). THANK YOU MARLENE!”

“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. Indi came home happy, calm, and healthy — we couldn’t ask for more. 💛🐾”

About: Hi! I’m Ning, an experienced dog owner and lifelong animal lover based in Berkeley. I currently have a sweet, friendly 1-year-old Australian Shepherd and have raised both a Samoyed and an Aussie from puppyhood. Through daily training, socialization, exercise, grooming, and routine care, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with energetic working breeds and understand the importance of both physical activity and mental enrichment. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and structured environment where dogs can feel relaxed and at home while their owners are away. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, eating habits, and emotional well-being, and I tailor my care to their individual needs. Your dog will stay in a clean and spacious pet-friendly apartment with access to a secure fenced courtyard. We are also only a 5-minute walk from a large open green space, allowing for regular walks, outdoor time, and supervised play. For social dogs, my friendly Aussie can be a wonderful companion during their stay. I work hard to make every boarding experience stress-free and enjoyable. Dogs receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day, and I do not leave pets alone for extended periods whenever possible. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can stay connected and have peace of mind while you’re away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide not just boarding, but a safe and caring second home where they can feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide frequent supervision, companionship, and exercise throughout the day. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine, as I currently care for my own young Australian Shepherd, with my current walking schedule: four times a day (~6 hours interval). Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, spacious, pet-friendly apartment with a secure fenced courtyard and easy access to a large green space just a 5-minute walk away. I currently have a friendly, well-socialized 1-year-old Australian Shepherd who enjoys meeting other dogs. I carefully monitor all interactions, follow owners’ instructions closely, and maintain a calm, structured environment. I have experience raising both a Samoyed and an Australian Shepherd from puppyhood, so I understand the importance of supervision, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement. I provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident that your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”

“Madeleine was so fantastic! This was the first time we left our dog with anyone, and I was so happy everything went smoothly. Our dog warmed up to Madeleine immediately and she was very accommodating to our needs and concerns. Thank you so much for making our pup feel safe and comfortable!”

“My dog Zazu had a great time with Ashish! Great communication and lots of pictures of my dog having fun. Would definitely recommend Ashish and will continue to bring my pets in the future!”

“We will always book with Porsche as long as she takes us! Hugo can be a stubborn frenchie and she has learned his personality overtime. She sent us photo updates while we were gone and Hugo looked like he was having the best time!”

About: I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious cats & dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. I am highly attentive to behavioral changes, feeding routines, emotional comfort, cleanliness, and creating calm environments where animals feel safe and relaxed.

About: Hello, my name is Hazar and I’m a local teacher but also a huge animal lover! I’ve gotten to house and pet sit for close family friends several times. I’ve also been caring for homes/pets through Trusted House Sitters for the last 2 years. I’m especially excited to be a sitter for people within my community, and take some nearby opportunities! At work, I am responsible for 28 children and their well being. I know what it means to take care of someone else's precious child, and will bring that same care into your home!
“Rebecca has provided excellent care for my kitty on two occasions, once shortly after he came into my life as a 5 month old rescue, and the second time soon after he turned one year old, still full of mischievous energy. Rebecca is an excellent communicator, reliable and trustworthy. She sends several photos from each visit. I return home to a calm and happy cat, and my home, kitchen and kitty litter area are very tidy. I greatly appreciate being able to relax and enjoy my time away, knowing my kitty is well cared for. I highly recommend Rebecca!”

“Amber is the best and my cat loves her. She arrives at the time agreed upon and takes great photos. I real appreciate the care she provides when I can’t be home for my kitty! ❤️”

“Another great cat sit with William. He stayed with our two cats again for about a week. Very communicative with lots of photos and a few videos of them. You can tell William really understands cats and enjoys being around them and vise versa. My two are very social but other sitters have told us they are a bit tentative and shy (which are not words I use to describe my cats), pictures price otherwise, they are all over William, as they are with us! Thanks again, Uncle William!”

“Logan is kind, responsive, and dependable. We had a long vacation and were worried to leave Percy with a sitter — But, shortly after we left Logan sent us a video of Percy purring and being ultra cute with him. When we got home Percy was happy and I could tell he’d been played with and pet and treated with affection. Also the house looked great when we got back. Were big Logan fans and hope to work with him again”

“Kai is incredible! Communication was easy and she was so reliable. We have a senior cat that needed lots of special attention and a complicated feeding instruction, but Kai was able to administer everything the old kitty needed each day, with reports showing what we needed to know. She also noticed the old kitty was losing appetite and flagged it so we can change up his diet in the middle of the booking. We really appreciate the attentive care. We also have another very shy female cat in the house, and Kai was able to approach her on day three!!! It was extremely special.”

“We’ve trusted Tallulah to care for our cat for the past two years, and she has been great. She is reliable, kind, and truly cares about our cat’s well-being. She is able to give our cat his medication giving us complete peace of mind whenever we’re away. She keeps us updated, is easy to communicate with, and always goes above and beyond to make sure our cat is comfortable and happy. After two years of consistently excellent care, we can confidently say she’s someone we trust completely. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and experienced pet sitter, and we’ll absolutely continue booking with her.”

“Tammy has been an excellent sitter. Typically my cat opts to stay in the deepest, darkest corner when strangers come around, but when Tammy came over to pickup the keys, my shy cat came out of hiding within a few minutes and even allowed a couple of quick pets. This has never happened in the 10+ yrs I’ve had her, so I immediately knew Tammy has a special bond with pets. While I was away, Tammy sent tons of photos and a tidy paragraph describing the day’s interactions. She also followed my requests to the letter, which isn’t a guarantee with sitters. Lastly, she spent lots of time playing with my cat each visit, which made both my cat and I even bigger fans of hers. Would book Tammy again in a heartbeat.”

“Emily is wonderful. She took such good care of my puppy and took the time to send me videos, photos and updates. They went for walks and my puppy had so much fun playing with her dog. I am very happy and grateful to have found someone I can trust with my little guy and I know he can’t wait to visit again.”

“Eve was absolutely amazing. She took so many videos of my puppy Aurora. She’s so sweet and quirky. We hung out for a little while after I picked up my puppy and we just laughed and got to know each other. It was an overall amazing experience from her charisma to the way that she absolutely loves dogs as if they were children.”

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. I am highly attentive to behavioral changes, feeding routines, emotional comfort, cleanliness, and creating calm environments where animals feel safe and relaxed.

“Hong did an amazing job taking care of our dogs, Lucky and Angel! She is incredibly kind, responsible, and truly passionate about animals. We felt completely at ease while we were away, and our dogs were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we returned. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy pet sitter!”

The dogs have access to a fully fenced private backyard to play and sunbathe.
“Yagmur did a great job with my husky, Alba! She was friendly, communicative, and shared a lot of updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated, especially since it was Alba's first time with dog boarding.”

“If I could give 6 stars I would. Kianna and the kids treated Charlie with care and kindness. They played til he dropped. Normally when I pick him up from days care, he’s ready to go, not today. I think he was upset he was leaving. :) I will be booking again. Thank you Kianna.”

“Kelly was wonderful with my pup Mochi, and easy to communicate with. I just got Mochi (a rescue) a couple of weeks ago so I was nervous about leaving him for the day but Kelly was very reassuring and Mochi had a great time!”

“We were worried about leaving our new puppy for the first time, but Alisha set up a Zoom so we could meet her the day before and it was immediately obvious that she would take great care of our little guy. Then, when we dropped him off, he practically jumped into her arms and made himself at home in the space she has set up which is perfect for doggy guests. She sent us updates and pics throughout the evening. We are very glad to have Alisha nearby for the future. I especially appreciate her depth of knowledge -- she is a great resource for those of us who have limited experience with raising puppies!”

“Mariola was an awesome sitter! She was very responsive to our puppy, Pao Pao's, needs and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. If you're looking for a responsible and loving sitter, Mariola is the one!”

“I felt a little unsure of dropping my dog off to someone I didn't know but started to feel more comfortable the more I spoke with Hye. Then Rudy, my pup, and I met Hye in person and we both were put very much at ease. Hye and Rudy hit it off immediately and I was fine leaving him with her. Hye updated us with photos and really "loved" Rudy and my wife and I were able to relax and enjoy our evening. I would totally recommend Hye and her husband for the care of their family member.”

“Julieth is so attentive and caring. She accepted a very last minute care but accommodated a call and a meet & greet in a very short time. They took such good care of Chiisai with lots of photos for just the one day visit. Chiisai has a new family now.”

“Yukon is an amazing host! We couldn't have asked for anything more. She took great care of our Lady bug. Gave us timely updates with pictures after walks, meals, and poo breaks. Lady also enjoyed hanging out with her fellow schnauzers. I highly recommend their services and plan to be repeat clients!”

We will continue using them when our guy Rocco needs a midday walk— he loves going out with them!”

“Sherry went above and beyond to take care of Molly during her stay, including taking her to vet (which was quite a drive away) when her vet here in Berkeley was unable to see her immediately. She clearly loves animals and will do her best to care for them like her own pet during their stay. Five stars for her extra time and care to ensure the best care for our girl!”

“Angela was a wonderful host for Mango! Our dog had a great time, got plenty of pets, lots of play time and walks. We also received updates throughout the stay that made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Abigail went above and beyond to care for our two dogs while we were away for 2 weeks. We have two dogs in very different life stages (one is elderly and required medication and one is young and highly energetic). She catered to them both perfectly and sent updates everyday while we were away. We have the upmost confidence in Abigail, she is genuinely kind and attentive. Couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“Leon did a great job! Loved getting updates with pictures and video clips throughout the stay. Our dog has a lot of puppy energy and it looked like he continued to get more and more comfortable each day.”

“We are so happy to found Radha. She is the first person we think of if we have to go out of town or even board for a few hours because we know our dog will have the best time and she will take great care of him.”

“Maria & Kevan along with their wonderful girls were amazing petsitters for our Labrador Retreiver, Louie. From the moment I dropped off Louie and met them, I could tell he was going to be completely comfortable, well-cared for, and loved for the duration of his 10 day stay with their family. Receiving a photo or two of Louie each day was amazing and it was heartwarming to see Louie so happy getting lots of snuggles, playtime with his toys, neighborhood walks, and peaceful naps at their feet. Thank you so much to Maria & Kevan and their daughters for making Louie feel like a part of their family! Louie can't wait to visit again!”

“We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Sarah looking after my dog, Bash. From the start, it was clear that she was committed to keeping him physically engaged and safe. I really appreciated that she prioritized getting him out for plenty of long, vigorous walks. It was a huge relief to travel knowing that Bash was in capable hands, getting the exercise he needs to stay happy and tired. Beyond the activity, she kept me updated with check-ins and amazing photos (seriously I might frame one of them), which gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a responsible, communicative, and active pet sitter. Both Bash and I are extremely satisfied customers!”

“Luciana and Rob were amazing. We had a vacation out of the country and had split sitters with a friend dropping our doodle off at Luciana and Rob's. It went smoothly and they kept in touch the entire time. It was clear our sensitive doodle really connected with them in the three days he was with them and even when we knocked on the door to pick him up he was barking, protecting their domain.. :) We'd definitely book again. We were very comfortable with their experience with anxious dogs and knowledge on walking dogs that are reactive to other dogs while walking on leash; they knew all of the tricks before I mentioned them! I was at ease while on my trip!”

“7 mo old Bridgette got to spend a week with Zaz, which I think mellowed her puppy tendencies out because when she got home she was so well behaved. Appreciate the daily walks. :)”

“We are grateful for Leonard's care and very engaging messages and updates regarding The Best Boi Champers! We appreciate Leonard's experience with OG dogs, and it was clear that he was comfortable with caring for our special needs dog (needs meds, picky eater, health issues). Very communicative through the entire booking and that helped us feel very secure in our choice to book with him! 10/10, would book again.”
