Samantha even took the dogs out on hikes and to the beach, which is so much more than we could ask for, we loved seeing pictures and videos of them playing together! She was also very flexible when it came to picking our dog up, which we appreciated coming back from a road trip. About: I grew up with dogs and have been fostering and dog sitting since January 2022. I enjoy dog sitting because I love how each dog is unique and perfect and I love to get to know their fun, goofy personalities. I want to help you give your dog the best care possible and keep some much needed dog love in my own life. I will treat your dogs as if they are my own and give your pet the best possible care. I have a day job, but the hours are flexible so I can always step away to give tons of care and tons of love. In my home, I take a dog out regularly for walking and potty. I give a ton of love and attention (depending on the dog - I leave them be if that's what they want). I always keep the water bowl full and feed on a consistent schedule, according to what the dog is used to. On a walk, I choose the route but let the dog have time to stop and sniff because sometimes dogs need a lot of time to find the perfect potty spot. I always communicate with another dog owner before letting two dogs greet each other on a walk. We make sure to stop before crossing the street and find spots with a ton of grassy area for the dog to explore and sniff around. If it's hot, I'll bring water and stay in the shade.

About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

About: Welcome to my Rover page! Over the years I've rescued and fostered and shared my life with many dogs. My home is open to small dogs of all breeds as long as the dog does not require extensive exercise (long runs etc). Regarding specialities, through fostering with Old Dog Haven I became very familiar with the needs of elderly and medically fragile dogs. At this point in my life I only have one dog of my own, and he is small and blind. My home is perfect for older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and/or dogs who just need extra love and attention. I work from home. My neighborhood is safe and beautiful and ideal for walks. I can administer meds and handle complicated feeding schedules. I will love on your pupper as if they were my own. I work from home full-time and never travel for work. Weekdays are all about working in my office with regular breaks for walkies and for play time and for meals. My house is dog-friendly, my neighborhood is ideal for walks. Dogs are never left alone for longer than it takes me to pour a cup of coffee.
