“Amy is communicative, trustworthy, and caring. She takes care of our very energetic 12-week-old puppy in our home during the work day. Even brings toys over with her so she has new options to play with.”
2. Laurena A.
“Laurena did a wonderful job handling our "special needs" dog during our twelve day trip. Although he was very apprehensive at first, each day going forward they had more walks and playtime together. He even stayed near Laurena (under her dining room chair:) during mealtimes dinner time, even though he is very protective of his food bowl which was next to him. We got pics almost every day, which was great. Plus our home was thoroughly clean and sparkling when we returned, which we so appreciated. We are hoping to have Laurena come again in February!”

“Ida was a great caretaker for our young dog for a 4-day weekend. She stayed in constant contact, sent lots of great photos of her hangouts and adventures with our dog, and left our house in perfect condition. Would work with her again!”
7. Sofia N.
“Since 2017, Sofia has been one of Berkeley Humane's most reliable fosters. From 2021-2022, she holds the record for number of kittens fostered through our rescue. She does an amazing job taking care of them all, and is willing to take on some of our most challenging cases. She takes beautiful pictures and thorough notes about her foster pets, communicates promptly over phone, text, and email, and is very flexible with her schedule. When it comes time to put them up for adoption, we can rest assured that the kittens she's raised will be well-adjusted and people-friendly. She's also fostered several adult cats, and she treats them with patience and understanding of their individual needs. She's highly observant and intuitively understands cat body language. She has plenty of experience administering a variety of medications and effortlessly follows complicated directions. Sofia is incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful, and it's always a pleasure working with her. She has dedicated so much love, care, and attention to our adoptable animals, and she will make a fantastic caregiver for your own.”
8. Angela A.
“Angela was amazing! She offered to do a meet and greet before sitting, which was perfect for my dog who is a little wary of new people. I also got plenty of updates and pictures. And I was able to enjoy my time away worry free because she was in such good hands.”
9. Ellie & Jurre R.
“Ellie & Jurre were so lovely from the first message exchange to the very last update when Ellie said she gave Kuta a 30 min walk, fed him, gave him a bully stick and even did the sheets on gentle! She sent a few pics at the end of the day and was always responsive and respectful - I can tell from the pics and the updates she wrote that my dog fell head over paws for her and Jurre! Thanks!”

11. Priscilla F.
“Priscilla took excellent care of my 62 lb dog while housesitting for almost two weeks. Although he has a doggy door into a fenced in yard she took him for many walks. Most importantly, she administered the three times a day eye drop he needs in his one eye to prevent glaucoma. Priscilla was a delight to work with and I would be very happy to have her take care of Bunter again. Although she was not asked to do so, she washed the bedding and towels she used, ran the dishwasher, and left the kitchen immaculate.”
12. Sandrine G.
“We have several dogs amongst our family members, a couple of them have difficult personalities. Sandrine is one of few that has connected with all of these dogs is short period of time. She has a gift for connecting with dogs in a calm and loving manner, and I trust her to take care of our dogs. She is responsible and enjoys being around animals.”

“Wow. From start to finish Kate was incredible. She was punctual, a clear communicator, and so kind. We felt so comfortable with her right away, and so did our pup. She is 100% professional, responsible and a joy to work with. We are already looking forward to booking her again!”
15. Dane E. C.
“Dane has cared for my dog and cat following all instructions, prompt communication, and reaches out if there are any questions. He requested time to meet pets and discuss care details for them before my trip departure. I definitely felt at ease leaving my pets in his care. I highly recommend him to take care of pets for short- and long-term periods. I always love receiving the great photos of them happy and relaxed while I'm away.”
16. Kenny W.
“Kenny was fantastic with our pups. We got updates everyday of their adventures together. Our needy Rottie warmed up immediately and our sometimes aloof Jack Russel took to sitting on his lap. Kenny stayed in our house and everything was in perfect order upon our return. We will absolutely have Kenny dog sit for us again.”
17. Adrienne B.
“If I could give Adrienne 10 stars, I certainly would. Our dog is a rescue and can have issues with strangers. Adrienne is now her best friend. There was no need of worry with Adrienne looking after our dog and our house. Adrienne took SUCH good care of our dog while we were traveling and updated us with texts and pictures every day of our trip. It was very reassuring to know that all was well.”
18. Brianna & Todd D.
“Bri was completely fantastic with our senior dog and puppy. We got regular updates, she reached out with questions, and when we came home after a weekend away the house was cleaner than we left it with a gorgeous sunflower bouquet on the counter! I highly recommend Bri!”
19. Vanessa R.
“Vanessa was terrific with my boys. And thank goodness, she was able to wear them out rather than the other way around.”
20. Genesis B.
“Genesis watched our reactive rescue pup, Olivia, over a recent long weekend. She provided frequent updates and snaps all weekend long. We knew Olivia was safe and thoughtfully taken care of with her!”
