About: Hi! I’m Jessica. Animals have always been a big part of my life from a young age. I have a 2-year-old Golden Retriever named Winnie, and I also regularly foster animals through the Oakland SPCA and the Milo Foundation. Being a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I care for every animal the way I would want my dog cared for. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or just some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Can’t wait to meet your best friend <3 I have plenty of time to stop by for a visit, or take your pup on a walk! I live and work in the area. I have a fenced in yard, very friendly puppy who loves to meet other dogs/cats. I prioritize your pets normal routine and want to make sure above all else they are comfortable.
“Derek did a wonderful job for us. He was super gentle and sweet with our two older dogs and was able to accommodate our dog Beans who has arthritis and needs a lot of support (twice daily medication, and using a wagon when she gets tired of walking). He also took great care of our 3 chickens and kept our house very clean. We got plenty of updates and felt like our animals and home were in great hands during our whole week-long trip! We highly recommend Derek for anyone looking for great pet care.”

“Angela was amazing! She offered to do a meet and greet before sitting, which was perfect for my dog who is a little wary of new people. I also got plenty of updates and pictures. And I was able to enjoy my time away worry free because she was in such good hands.”

“Logan is organized, considerate and kind. Percy got comfortable with him very quickly. Logan caught a mistake in our booking and saved us a big scheduling issue. We will definitely be hiring Logan again, he’s a wonderful buddy for Percy”

“Maria is terrific. She arrived on time and immediately bonded with our dog. She gave him lots of attention and took him for a walk. When we returned home, he was cuddled up against her. She also kept our house neat and clean. I highly recommend her.”

“Rachael was AMAZING! Your fur babies are in great hands with her. She was extremely attentive to all the special care our senior kitty needed, was quick to reply and easy to get ahold of, and did a fantastic job with all the little extra house tasks while we were away for a few days. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Dogs were completely chill when we came back, which is a sign that they were happy and taken care of. Katherine was easy to work with and a great communicator. I'd happily use her again.”

“We were so pleased with Huckleberry's care of our twelve year old pittie, Rico. He was very kind, sensitive, and deeply attuned to Rico's needs. Rico bonded with him right away.He also was very timely and responsible, and asked if we had specific house rules that we wanted him to follow. We will definitely ask him to sit for Rico again.”

About: I go by V or Valen, they/them pronouns 😊 I have an animal science degree from UC Davis, specializing in captive and companion animals. I’ve interned at both the UC Davis Dairy and Goat Facilities, and worked with a number of other species. My work with animals is rooted in an applied understanding of animal behavior, combined with a knowledge of animal ethics and welfare. As a pet owner of 20+ years with various species, I understand how critical it is to build trust with both owner and pet. This is family we’re talkin’ about! Experience with senior/geriatric/end of life care. Formosan Mountain Dog and general rescue dog experience. Some rodent, bunny, tortoise, and snake experience as well. Experienced with anxious and fear aggressive dogs. If I can teach goats to walk on a leash, I can handle your pups! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, though I prefer bookings in the mornings and early afternoons. I can usually work around any schedule though. During drop ins, I focus on meeting the pet’s needs per the owner’s requests. Then I’ll play and hang out with them, making sure they get lots of love. If they’re anxious, I’ll leave them alone until they feel comfortable to approach me first. I always make sure to check any safety hazards before leaving.
“Belinda was such an incredible dog sitter for our pup! Not only did Belinda come through last minute for a 2 week house stay when our pup got ill right before our big trip, but she also took great care of our house. Belinda knew we were anxious leaving our pup for such a long period of time and sent pictures and updates throughout the day. She was a great communicator and would answer immediately whenever she could. She also took our high-energy dog for long walks and followed all of our dog and house care instructions to a T. We couldn't recommend Belinda highly enough, and we will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“Jessica took good care of my cat Levi for a week when I was away. She frequently shared updates, photos, and was very responsible tracking Levi’s litter usage etc. Levi received a lot of attention, care, and affection from Jessica and her partner. I’ll certainly recommend her!”

“Priscilla took excellent care of my 62 lb dog while housesitting for almost two weeks. Although he has a doggy door into a fenced in yard she took him for many walks. Most importantly, she administered the three times a day eye drop he needs in his one eye to prevent glaucoma. Priscilla was a delight to work with and I would be very happy to have her take care of Bunter again. Although she was not asked to do so, she washed the bedding and towels she used, ran the dishwasher, and left the kitchen immaculate.”

“Honey always loves when he gets Natasia as his sitter. She is a natural with larger dogs and Honey clearly feels at ease around her. It makes me feel so much better about leaving when I see how much he smiles when she greets him hello.”

“Agnes is friendly attentive responsible and communicative. Our pets and our home were respected, very well cared, for during our week away. We would be happy to have Agnes in our home and caring for our pets again!”

“Sarah took amazing care of our dog and cats while we were away for the weekend. She sent regular updates (and pics!) and the animals were all so well cared for. She clearly loves and has a gift with animals. Thank you so much Sarah!!! We'll definitely reach out next time we are heading out of town!”

“Harold is an exceptional dog sitter! From the moment he met out pup, his warmth and genuine love for animals were evident. He provided top-notch care, ensuring our dog was happy, well-fed, and entertained throughout the day. Harold's reliability and communication gave us complete peace of mind. We received regular updates and adorable photos, showing our dog having the time of his life. It's clear that Harold goes above and beyond to make every dog feel loved and secure. Highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

“William was highly communicative, responsible, and trustworthy for us as he houses sat for us for 6 days. He was also patient with our shy dog and made sure to put in the work to get him to warm up to him. William was frequent with walks and pics/messages to keep us in the loop. Hope to use William for future stays and definitely recommend him and his services!”

“Laurena took such loving care of Doris, our sweet, old girl. She was an exceptional communicator, sending photos and updates. In the photos that Laurena shared, it was evident that Doris was at ease with her. Laurena left our house so clean. Wow and thanks Laurena!”

Laura was a great dog sitter to my dog and her best friend––two reactive pups! Laura was patient with their quirks and figured out their personalities quickly. Photo updates and texts during the day put at ease and also made us aware that Laura was taking the pups on great walks! In addition to watching the dogs, Laura housesat at my house and left the place in great condition. We will be returning to Laura for our care needs in the future, for sure! Highly recommend.

Ida and Travis were amazing to work with! They sent tons of cute photos of my cats, were the best communicators, and even left my home cleaner than they found it. They were very attentive to learning about my cats' needs and managing challenges like my sticky front door key. I'd definitely use them again!

Yena was great - I could tell my dogs felt safe with her right away in her first walk-through, and she was not daunted by an energetic pitbull and terrier duo. While we were away for 4 days, she stayed over, and gave great photo diaries of her time with the pups. She took thoughtful steps to reflect that she heard and executed my directions and details in the photos, so I knew the dogs were staying on their routines. She was diligent and did what she said she'd do. I would hire her again, for sure.

Dane took amazing care of our little Peanut and our house! He went above and beyond taking many pictures and giving us updates. He took Peanut on long walks and did training sessions with her — it was very clear she was having a blast. Dane also generously watered our plants and left our house cleaner than he found it! Would highly recommend Dane to anyone looking for a sitter and we look forward to booking with him again :)

Francis was absolutely amazing with our dogs and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. He was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared for them like they were his own. Our dogs all have different personalities and routines, and he handled everything thoughtfully — from walks and feeding schedules to bedtime quirks and crate routines. He kept us updated regularly, was very communicative, and left our home in great condition. The dogs were happy, calm, and well cared for when we returned, which says everything. We would absolutely trust Francis again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.

Nastasia was amazing with our two dogs and cat. My older dog can become anxious when we leave, but from the photos Nastasia took during her stay, and my dog's greeting when we came home, it was clear she was well taken care of and felt safe. I will definitely be asking Nastasia to house sit for us again!

Shuhan took great care of our two cats over the holiday weekend! One of our boys was recently diagnosed with diabetes and so requires 2x daily insulin injections and a little extra monitoring, Shuhan was incredibly considerate, caring & attentive to my boy! Our other cat, Fig, is p sassy & selective with his love, he seemed to really warm up to Shuhan!! Both cats were happy & relaxed when we got home, and Shuhan left the house in great condition, even stripping the bed for me!! Will definitely be booking his services again!

Anna took care of our senior dog at our home during a long weekend. She was a wonderful sitter for Dottie, treating her like her own. Anna was comfortable administering eye drops and handling Dottie’s medical issues. She was also very communicative and professional. Highly recommend!
