Kasey was timely and gave my Eloise her inhaler every morning and night during the stay (Eloise even had a coughing fit which Kasey was able to respond to quickly and administer the emergency inhaler). About: Hi everyone, I work in mental/behavioral health and am saving up for graduate school! I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. I moved to California from the Netherlands a few years ago. I am looking for new pet sitting clients in the East Bay or San Francisco. I can do overnight pet sitting as well as walks or visits during the day. I also live right by Lake Merritt so if you live nearby, I’d love to take your dog on walks around the lake. A full loop around the lake takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes (a little over 3 miles). I can pick up and drop off your dog at your house. I have several years experience in cat sitting as well as several years dog sitting and dog walking (middle-aged Labrador, middle-aged German Shepard mix, and puppy Border Collie). I work swing shift (roughly from 3-11pm) on Sunday-Thursday. So, I’m available for drop-in visits or walks during the morning/early afternoon. On Fridays and Saturdays, I might have availability but sometimes I have plans. Please just reach out to check if I’m available on those days! I can’t have pets at my apartment but at clients’ homes, we can play with toys, or we can walk around the neighborhood or to a nearby park. I like to know a little bit about them before I care for them so that I can try to make them feel comfortable being around me.

Manuel was wonderful with Hampton again, and this stay was especially meaningful to us. The day before we were scheduled to leave, Hampton experienced some symptoms related to his condition, which understandably made us nervous about traveling. Manuel was incredibly thoughtful and caring throughout it all and never hesitated about continuing with the stay. Hampton is getting older and is on several medications, so he sometimes needs more frequent potty breaks and extra patience when taking his meds. Manuel was more than happy to adjust to his needs and was incredibly patient with him. We also really appreciated the regular updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy Hampton and a spotless home. We’re very grateful for the care Manuel gives him and would absolutely trust him with Hampton again.
I was so grateful that Cassandra and her daughter (who’s also on Rover) watched my dog, Shaya, after a very last minute cancellation from another sitter. Shaya can be nervous and a bit reactive, but was immediately comfortable with both, and they each clearly have a lot of experience with dogs. They sent regular photos and videos and took beautiful care of my home. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.
Carly was great for our zoo of 2 cats and 2 dogs. She was willing to come meet the animals quickly before the date of her services since it was so many animals and an overnight stay. She sent so many pictures and video updates it was great! She also messaged with any questions that I was unclear about to make sure that the animals were taken care of as intended. June was amazing with our dog and cat while we were away for a week. She left our house really tidy and Reed clearly bonded with her because he started sleeping by the bed in our spare room where she stayed over. He got some hikes and seems really happy. Would definitely rebook!
Adrienne filled in on short notice and was super thoughtful to my dog's needs, and her level of separation anxiety. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, which was helpful, as I had an event to go to. They communicated with me when my dog was slow to eat and helped her along with some treats we left, and when I returned my was home neat and tidy. My dog also did not seem overly agitated when we came home, so I think she had a nice time and was comfortable even though this Adrienne's first time meeting my dog and pet sitting for me. I would hire them again!
Highly recommend Tommy. He did an amazing job house-sitting and caring for Raver, our active 1-year-old, 80-pound English Black Lab puppy.
