My husband and I are always hesitant and nervous when we leave our Great Dane alone because he gets a little depressed and usually won’t eat because of separation anxiety or that the care taker will spoil him like we do. When we left for the night he had already snuggled up to her and had his two full meals like we didn’t matter lol. We were so happy that we found someone that our dog was so comfortable with. “Charlii took care of our special needs senior dog for a week while we were traveling. She was extremely communicative, detail oriented, and reliable throughout the entire process. She provided daily updates with photos, and gave our pup all the love and attention he needed. Most importantly, she was able to provide him with the special care we couldn't find at a normal dog boarding location — eyedrops (3x daily) and daily insulin injections. Finally, as a special touch at the end, Charlii cleaned up after herself so we found the house even nicer than when we'd left it. I'm so grateful to Charlii—without her help, we never would have been able to go on our trip and relax knowing our pup is in good hands.”

About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. About: I grew up with many types of rescue/dogs at home (terriers, heelers, sharpei, goldens) I love all dogs but especially poodle mixes and have experience with doodles. Coqui is now 5 years old and I got him at 8 weeks, so understand the doodle ways. I will take great care of your fur baby! Also, dog must be ok with other dogs in the house. Coqui is very friendly and loves other dogs. We typically go on 4x walks per day, usually one of them is a longer trail walk or to the offleash dog park. Your dog will get plenty of exercise. If they are older or don’t need as much exercise, I would do shorter/separate walks. I work from home part of the week so can keep your pup with me and my dog coqui, we typically walk a few times a day and one of them on the longer side. I can crate your dog or let them hang out with coqui. Usually he’s in an enclosed space with me while I’m working. Dogs are allowed on the furniture.

Jessie is amazing, when I got back after four nights, my foster kitty Juniper was so relaxed and happy. And when Jessie came back to drop off the key, Juniper jumped down off the fence and headed straight to her to greet her, and then afterward followed her to her car as she left. She's down to earth and easy to talk to, she made it a breeze and I was absolutely confident Juniper was in excellent hands. The place was immaculate and I felt lucky knowing Juniper was with Jessie while I was away.

Our dog, Enzo, decided to give Robert some attitude and behaved differently than usual during their time together. Thankfully, Robert handled things very well and was able to manage the situation. He was also very accommodating and flexible with our unique timing and apartment building setup. We are so thankful for his time and care!
Victoria apartment-sat with Snowy for three days and was absolutely on top of everything from walks to treats to cuddle time. Provided a lot of comfort and confidence that my 3yr old corgi would be well taken care of. Look forward to her and Snowy hanging out again.
Sarah was awesome. She took care of my high maintenance blind, senior dog for three days while I was out of town. She handled his many medications and followed my detailed instructions for his care completely. She even moved my car into the garage for me when I needed it, and my home was spotless upon return. She is very professional and very thorough. And is especially skilled with sr/diabled dogs. I will for sure book her again for help with my lil guy.
Ida and Travis were amazing to work with! They sent tons of cute photos of my cats, were the best communicators, and even left my home cleaner than they found it. They were very attentive to learning about my cats' needs and managing challenges like my sticky front door key. I'd definitely use them again!
Kendra fits us in sort of last minute, but despite that she was very thorough in getting the details needed to care for my senior crew. Both my cat and my dog have several medications a day, and Kendra handled it all very smoothly. She paid extra attention to some troubles my old dog was having, and kept me updated throughout her stay. House was very clean and well maintained, and everyone seemed happy and content. My younger dog even wanted to go home with Kendra! Highly recommend her and will use her help again as soon as I can.
Robyn came and took care of my older cat with an illness for 1 week. My cat, Nyx, requires medicine twice a day and lots of cuddle time which Robyn provided equally. It was the second booking ive made with Robyn. Again everything was great, and my cat was happy and healthy upon my return. Highly reccomend! Robyn a great! Thank you!!!!
