Shivani also sent a lot of updates about our pets, which was soooo incredibly helpful and really put us at ease while we were away! “Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

About: I have had and cared for pets since childhood, rescuing (literally from the streets) a lovely pitbull named Olive when I lived in Philadelphia. Moved to CA in May 2026 from East Coast. I recently moved to CA to support my wife’s new job in SF. About: My pet care experience includes looking after cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. Christine did a wonderful job taking care of our older dog for 10 days while we were away. She followed all of our instructions carefully, was very kind and attentive, and clearly cared about our dog's well-being. When we returned, our dog was happy, relaxed, and in great spirits, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Christine also left the house extremely clean and well cared for. We really appreciated her reliability and communication throughout our trip. We would gladly have her watch our dog again and highly recommend her to others.
I have never used Rover before and Erin by far exceeded every expectation I had. We had her stay with our newly adopted dog for two nights and our dog loved her. We had our neighbors help out before and our dog wouldn't let them near her, but with Erin, our dog was her sweet self. Erin was punctual and made me feel at ease right away. She also left our house just as we left it. I would highly recommend Erin for any pet sitting needs.
Anais took excellent care of my little blind Yoda over a long weekend I was away. He was a fair amount of work given he still had stitches from eye removal surgery on one eye and was on multiple medications to keep him chill and pain free. She administered all his meds and made sure he was comfortable and stress free for his recovery while I was away for the weekend. She was very flexible as well, since I was supposed to go away the weekend before but had to cancel due to his emergency surgery. She was on board to care for him the following weekend instead and worked with me up to the last minute to be sure I felt he was well enough for me to leave at all. Will hire Anais again and again!
Edward hit it off with Milo from the get go and made himself available at the last minute for a house-sit. He was super communicative and sent us pictures and updates. He even washed our dishes ( totally out of volition) and that is super awesome thank you 🙏🏽 Milo will look forward to many more sits with him. Highly recommend!!
Alisa is an exceptional caretaker. It can be difficult to find a trustworthy dog sitter when you’re new to the area, so I feel very fortunate to have found her. She was respectful of my home and left everything in perfect condition. Most importantly, my Cavalier was well cared for and happy. I would highly recommend Alisa without hesitation.
My pup Lulu came down with a stomach issue the day before we left for our trip. Rebecca worked with me to come up with a plan for her care and monitoring, adjusting her diet as Lulu recovered and sending me regular updates on Lulu's progress. Being 3000 miles away, it was such a relief to know that Lulu was in good hands and that Rebecca was prepared for the worst case scenarios. Thanks to Rebecca, I came home to a happy and healthy pup!
Faith is extremely communicative and knowledgable! We greatly appreciated her diligence with our dogs meds and schedules. She sent regular updates and pictures, kept our place clean, and the dogs loved snuggling with her. I felt completely confident leaving ours dogs in her care!
Davina and her family were excellent caregivers for Cloud and Princess. Davina was great communicating with us while we were gone. Our home looks just as it did when we left, except better because she brought in packages that had been delivered by Amazon and placed the mail on the kitchen table. We could tell that our dogs had been fed, walked, and loved in our absence, because they were happy to see us when we came home, but not needy. We hope they can do all of our dog sitting in the future!
Mary is the best! She took great care of our little sweetheart, Birdie, who is not the easiest creature to care for as well caring for our house. Mary extended us kindness, consideration, cleanliness and lots of communication. Great pictures too! And Birdie got all of that plus cuddles! We all lucked out - thank you, Mary!!!
