About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.
About: I've had dogs my entire life and currently share my home with two Miniature Schnauzers, Frank and Peri. After 20 years in Moraga and now as an empty nester, I have the time and flexibility to focus on something that brings me genuine joy—spending time with dogs. I started offering care because I could never find a place where I felt completely comfortable leaving my own dogs. My goal is to provide the kind of environment I would want for Frank and Peri: plenty of outdoor time, freedom to explore, comfortable places to rest, and lots of personal attention. I've cared for dogs of all ages, including many senior dogs, and I welcome potty-trained puppies. Along with a small team of trusted staff members, we focus on keeping dogs active, supervised, safe, and happy throughout the day. Every dog is treated like part of the family while they're here. I designed this to be the kind of place I always wished existed for my own dogs. When I needed care for Frank and Peri, I was never completely comfortable with the idea of them spending their days running through a stranger's house, jumping on furniture, or sleeping in someone else's bed. I wanted a place that was professional, safe, active, and built around what dogs actually enjoy. So that's exactly what I've created. We operate more like a boutique daycare and boarding facility than a typical home stay. Dogs spend their days in a large, flat, fully fenced backyard designed for play, exploration, socialization, and relaxation. They have plenty of room to run, places to nap in the shade, constant access to fresh water, and caring supervision from me and my staff throughout the day. A typical day starts around 6:30 a.m. with outdoor play and activity, followed by a midday rest period and more socialization and exercise in the afternoon. In the evening, dogs settle into the Dog Den, our dedicated sleeping area designed specifically for their comfort and safety. The goal is simple: a place where dogs can be active, social, safe, and genuinely happy while their owners are away. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable place for dogs to be dogs. The property features a large, flat, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, roam, play, and explore. There is always access to fresh water, shade, and comfortable places to rest. Dogs are free to move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day while under supervision from my staff and me. At night, dogs sleep in a dedicated room we call the Dog Den. Dogs may sleep in their crate if that's what they're accustomed to, or comfortably outside a crate if preferred. Owners provide their dog's regular food so we can maintain familiar routines and avoid digestive upset. Whether your dog is a playful youngster, a laid-back adult, or a beloved senior, we strive to provide a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel at home while you're away. I'll care for your dog the same way I care for Frank and Peri—with attention, patience, affection, and respect for their individual personality and needs.

Lisa and Cameron were absolutely wonderful with Poe! We needed someone to watch him for a few hours over three consecutive days while we had construction happening at our house and my husband and I had unusual work schedules, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the whole thing. Poe clearly had the best time staying with them: playing in their backyard, going on walks, and spending time with their family and kids. We have a baby on the way, so it was especially nice knowing he was getting some positive time around younger kids, and Lisa and Cameron said he did great with them. They also sent us adorable photos and videos every day, which we loved. Poe came home happy, tired, and ready for a very good sleep after getting so much attention and exercise! This was our first time having Lisa and Cameron watch Poe, but we would absolutely book with them again. They are such warm, friendly people and clearly great with dogs. We felt completely comfortable leaving Poe with them and highly recommend them!
Kelly was absolutely the BEST sitter we could have asked for! ❤️ Maru is a very sweet and well-behaved dog, but he has pretty severe separation anxiety, so I was honestly very worried about leaving him with a new sitter in a new place, especially while traveling in an unfamiliar area. But Kelly took such wonderful care of him that all of my worries completely disappeared. I had reached out to Kelly last-minute because we were traveling and I’m not local to the area, and she was so kind and accommodating from the very beginning. She kept me updated throughout the stay and sent me the cutest photos of Maru, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Since we were traveling, our schedule changed a few times, and Kelly was incredibly flexible and understanding every single time. When I picked Maru up, she even gave me a sweet message and a little treat as a gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made me feel so touched and grateful. 🥹 Kelly was not just a great sitter, she was genuinely warm, caring, thoughtful, and wonderful with Maru. Sydney is caring and a dog and cat mom herself. She can keep your pet totally separate from her animals in her studio garage that has been converted to a pet suite for multiple day stays. There's a loveseat and plenty of floor space. She has a small rear patio area for sniffing and potty breaks. She is happy to take short or long walks with your dog and can do hills. Stella feels safe with Sydney and that means the world to me as I am at work all day.
Smoke was so well cared for. Bobby loves dogs & it was obvious that he bonds with dogs right from the beginning. Smoke went for 2 walks - which was his first walk actually since he's just been given the OK to go on street walks. He was happy as can be when I picked him up. And once he made his bed in the back seat, he slept the entire 40 minutes home.
As a first time Rover user, we hit the jackpot with Juliana and Katherine. It was our pup’s first experience at daycare (he thought it was a play date); and he had so much fun and adventure.
