“Vicki always does a great job taking care of my dog and she keeps me posted throughout my dog’s stay. I can tell from her pictures that my dog feels safe and comfortable with her.”

“Yena was great. Very caring, and was wonderful with our dog who had separation anxiety! Our dog actually claimed on her shoulder and lap which he has never done with strangers! (Small 20 pounder)”

“Barsha was great and my puppy was very happy at the end of the day with her. She kept me updated with texts and photos. Even some videos of Ozzie playing, which put me at ease seeing him so comfortable and playful. We already have another day booked for Ozzie to be with Barsha.”

“Sarah did an amazing job making Noodle and I comfortable from the meet / greet to the trial run! She has a wealth of pup knowledge and so much experience. She sent lots of updates and Kwan on top of all details. My pup and I can’t wait for another trip to Sarah’s!”
“Our pup had another great visit with Darren and his family! She is happy and comfortable during drop off and pick up. She loves to play with their dog and they take her on walks. We are grateful for Darren M and his family doggie daycare.”

“We felt so comfortable leaving our pup with Jennifer for the day! She sent pictures and videos throughout the day so we knew he was having a good day 😌. I would trust her again in a heartbeat! It even seems like our pup was ready to make a friend with hers. Coming back to a well taken care of, happy dog was the cherry on top of a great day. 10/10 - thank you Jennifer!”

“Thank you for taking good care of Megatron, she sits on our laps alot at home so it’s great to know she’s comfortable at her day care and was able to do the same. Will rebook soon.”

About: I love big dogs and my big dog loves small dogs. I have a large fenced yard on 3/4 of an acre along with a pool (they can swim in the summer if they're inclined...my dog doesn't care for the pool, other dogs do). Dogs in my care get attention all day long and are treated as my own in my house (they are allowed on the furniture and can sleep in any bed or their own as they choose.) They'll get a long walk in the morning (2-3 miles or more) and have at least one (and no more than 3) doggy friends to play with all day (along with my attention too.) At night, I am a homebody and enjoy having everyone snuggle together on the couch or their own beds as they choose. I'm all about the dog these days and dog-sitting is what I'm doing full-time in semi-retirement. I'm home almost all the time and they always have the ability to go in and out of the yard as they please. The longest they would be left alone is no more than 4 hours and typically never more than an hour for a quick errand. Your dog is treated like a member of my family, just as my own dog. I like to ensure they have the ability to go in and outside (fenced yard) as they please. The walks are as much for me as they are for them. I'm very observant of what is going on with the dogs and have the ability to separate them in different sections of the yard and house if someone turns about to be disagreeable with another. Regardless, they all get lots and lots of attention. This isn't a kennel, it is my home and they are treated like guests/members of the family. I have experience with special needs dogs, dogs recovering from medical procedures, needing meds, etc. I know how to handle most all dog situations with calm and confidence. I invite you to come for a tour and see what I can offer your four-legged family member so you can enjoy your time away from home.
“Namrata, took care of my Kona. Kona is usually with me and very attached and takes a moment to warm up. Namrata kept me updated and sent me pictures. She was also flexible and kind. I will definitely be bringing Kona back.”

About: We are an experienced dog family. My husband, myself, and our 8 year old husky Skye have been fostering sled dogs for the last 10 years and have gained a lot of experience handling dogs of many personalities and needs. We recently moved to California where we both work from home. My husband and I both work from home and one of us will always be here. Dogs are walked 2-3 times per day with timing depending on weather. We have a fenced-in yard and our friendly husky to keep your dog company. She's an experienced host and is eager to make guests welcome.

Walnut Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was great with our dog. He has separation issues and she was able to charm him out of it. When we arrived to pick him up, all the dogs were resting quietly together. Loved the pictures and videos. So great. Rick was a great help. Charlie did well at his first stay in the Shire.

This was my first time using Rover and it was a last minute request. Judith was extremely accommodating and made the process easy and seamless. She did a great job with our Cavapoo puppy who came back happy and exercised. Judith sent helpful photos and updates and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely use Judith again.

Sarah is amazing. She is willing to try many avenues to have my pittie comfortable in her loving home. This is our second day and my dog is getting there! I’m hopeful Zoe will get acclimated soon as I know she will be cared for in the same way as she is at home. Thanks Auntie Dawg!

Louie is always happy when he is dropped off at Chloe! He just knows that he is going to have the best day and will get the exercise, and stimulation he needs. I personally recommend Chloe, your pet will get the personalized attention and will be treated like family. :)

Our first doggy care experience and was really nice that Kim's family cared for our pup. Our Bingo had a blast and enjoyed his time with a super nice family and will be using the service again tomorrow. I will be in town for a Month and sure we will be using their services again. Highly recommended

Jeremy and Laura have the perfect yard for my dog to run! And, even better, is Riley, their Rhodesian Ridgeback. My dog and Riley chased and played for hours! Jeremy made sure my dog got his food and water. And after Riley and my dog were tired, Laura and Jeremy had my dog in the house all snuggled up for a nap. I highly recommend them to take care of your dog and treat them like part of the family!
