Welcome to the Cozy Pet Inn! 🥰💗 I’m Marien and I started Rover in 2019 doing dog walking, dog drop-ins, and in-home dog sitting. During 2020-2024 I took a break from Rover to focus on caring for my own dog. Then in 2025, since my dog passed, I came back to Rover to help care for other people’s pets, just like other Rovers did for me! In 2020, my husband and I adopted our first dog, Lola! She passed in 2024, and since then I have really missed having a dog at home. In the 4 years I spent with Lola, I learned so much about caring for dogs. Lola was a high needs senior dog with severe separation anxiety and doggy dementia in her last year of life. I am familiar with the daily dog walk, dog messes, dog meds, dog play, and especially the need for a dog sitter (we would also book Rover when needed). I know what it’s like to miss your dog and wonder how they’re doing when you’re away, so it’s my goal to provide you with regular updates and communication. In 2024 I finally got to fulfill my dream of having cats at home! Therefore I am also familiar with cat care. With my cats, I am conscious of their needs for routine, meals, hydration, stimulation, and autonomy. My cats are 2 and 6 years old! As with any cat, dog, or even other animal, I am open to learning about their particular needs and personalities so that you feel comfortable leaving them in my care. Naturally, it will take time for all of us to build trust, but my goal is to treat your animals with the same attentiveness as my own. A little more about your pet sitter. I’m a 31 year old Filipino American. I’m a self employed entrepreneur with a small handmade jewelry business, which allows me the time and flexibility to be your potential pet sitter!
