I have 10+ years of freelancing experience of taking care of animals (dogs, cats, horses) and enjoy this a great deal. My personality is very calm, warm and responsible and I have always received great feedback from my petsitting clients. My family has had dogs, horses and small pets throughout my life and I am the one who has always trained our dogs. This is something that I love very much. My primary focus is always that the dog / pet is getting enough exercise, eating healthy and is also stimulated enough if they have a very active personality. I have worked with all kinds of breeds but in particular I have a lot of experience with dachshunds, whippets, poodles and spaniels. I am also very flexible with my schedule and do not mind working on weekends and evenings. I do have a 3 year old daughter at home with me a lot, and will need to adjust my schedules with her needs.

Mia helped walk and feed my 2 dogs (husky and a golden) for a week. She gave daily updates and shared photos. We had piece of mind knowing that our fur-babies were being well taken care of. She went above and beyond by vacuuming a couple of times when the hair got to be a bit much, which was greatly appreciated.
Mia did a great job walking our energetic boy Luka and always made sure he had water after their walks. He was always excited to see her. Mia left plenty of info on the report card and would send separate messages with more detail of Lukas walk which was always very helpful. Communication was always great and we would definitely book again in the future.
Mia is so great and sweet with my pup. She loves seeing Mia and gets excited. Communication with Mia is always clear and prompt. It’s such a relief to have found Mia - someone reliable that you can trust with your pup!

Schedule
I am currently looking for part time work and something that allows me to also have a flexible schedule with my 3 year old daughter. My partner is also with her a lot so I will have plenty of time for pet sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I can look after pets that don't need a lot of attention during the day, besides walking and some amount of playing inside or in the yard. Otherwise I expect them to be at least somewhat trained and happy following me around the house as I do my daily chores. :)
A typical day
I live near Larkey Park which is great for walking dogs! I also have a yard where dogs can explore and have some outside time if we are at home. My daughter absolutely loves dogs and animals so she will be happy to play with them as well.
