About: Hi, I’m Kat! I’m a huge dog lover with over a year of hands-on experience at Summit Kennels in Washington state. There I cared for all kinds of dogs - from police K9s and dogs with aggression or reactivity, behavioral issues to sweet family pets. That experience taught me how to truly connect with every dog and give them the understanding, structure, attention and love they need. Now based in the Bay Area, I offer personalized drop-in visits and walks. I’m also currently studying to become a certified dog trainer, so I bring both real experience and modern positive reinforcement methods to every visit. What I’m most known for is staying calm and confident with any dog. Whether yours is a gentle family pet, a playful puppy, a calm adult, a senior who needs extra care, a dog on medication or one who’s energetic, anxious or reactive - I can handle it with patience and care. My goal is always to create a safe, positive experience. I’ll make sure your dog gets exercise, mental stimulation, genuine attention, and plenty of playtime and affection. And you’ll always receive detailed photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and well taken care of. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I’m currently studying to become a certified dog trainer which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m able to dedicate plenty of time for drop-in visits and walks throughout the day and evening. I’m available most weekdays and weekends and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs so I can easily adjust my day around their needs. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every environment. In my client’s home, I follow their exact routines, instructions, and house rules. I make sure the space is secure, provide regular potty breaks, exercise, and mental stimulation, and always send photo updates.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. Unfortunately, my pet (who was the love of my life) passed away. She was a high-needs dog with extreme separation anxiety and leash aggression, so I have skills to handle that type of pet. From then until now, I have focused on raising my children. I miss the company of animals, and I am wanting to be around them! My kids love animals, so your pet would get lots of cuddles while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom of three. Two of my kids are in school, and the other stays home with me. We have lots of time on our hands to attend to the needs of your pet! If boarding at my home: I have two yards that are completely fenced in. I also have three animal-loving children. We let animals on the furniture. Our home is their home ☺️ If dropping in while you’re away or doing walk: My days are fully open starting at 9am. With kids at home, things get busy again at 5pm. Drop-ins would need to be between those hours. I can also visit again after my kids go down for bed which is usually 7:30pm. My child loves stroller walks, so hopefully your pet does too! Having a pet myself, I know how important it is to make your baby feel as calm and regulated as possible while you’re away. Putting them with a loving and responsible caretaker while you’re away is not a decision taken lightly. I hope I can be that for you and your family.
“Courtney is wonderful! We have very anxious dogs and she did an amazing job giving them individual care to ensure they were comfortable, safe and cared for while we were out of town. She is highly communicative and thoughtful. Would definitely book again!”

“Samantha took such great care of our two kitties while we were gone for 4ish days on vacation! Between the check-in updates and the multiple photos, we didn't have to worry one bit about how they were doing. Even our super shy boy, Jynx, who some people think is only a myth due to never seeing him for years, came out on Samantha's first visit and made an appearance each time. The next time we need a sitter again, Samantha will be our first choice.”

About: My name is Kelly and I’ve been caring for pups for 5 years, and behavior coach and trainer for 2. My passions focus on giving each pup the best experience, whether that’s through enrichment games, cuddles, or extra walks. You’ll feel like you never left with plenty of pupdates I’ll send your way. In my free time, you’ll find me training at the rescue and helping pups find their furever homes or working with kids. I provide a hands-on experience with my pups I care for, anticipating that I’ll work with various ages or needs. I can be as involved as you need me. Unfortunately my pet boardings are on hold for now. I currently provide house sittings, walks, and drop-ins. When house-sitting, I always treat my clients home as if it’s my own and more, always making it better than I found it. I want owners to return home feeling refreshed with clean and calm home.

About: I am an insured pet care professional, and I bring the same kindness and thoughtfulness I would want someone to show my own pet. What sets me apart is that I’m dependable, attentive, and very detail-oriented. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and routine, carefully follow your instructions, and keep you updated with plenty of photos and notes. My goal is simple: to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely well cared for whenever they’re with me. I cared for my own dog, Charlotte, for 10 years—from her puppy stage through her senior years—so I understand how much a dog’s needs can change over time. My experience with puppies began even earlier, when a neighbor who bred dogs trusted me to help care for her newborn litters. I understand the patience, consistency, and routine puppies need, including reinforcement of potty training, basic commands, leash manners, and good habits. I also know that senior dogs may need slower walks, extra time, and someone who pays attention to the little changes. I'm currently working part-time, so I will have the flexibility to walk your pet or drop in for your pet during the day while you are away. Looking forward to new clients! I currently provide care in my clients’ homes, where pets can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings and routines. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for walks, meals, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs, keep their space tidy, and send photos and written updates after every visit. All dog walks are private and on leash. At this time, I do not offer care in my own home, overnight stays, transportation, or medication administration.
“Adaley has been wonderful! The first time we met, she brought a notebook and pen, and asked about our cat George’s favorite toys. We’ve had her sit for us twice and she’s reliable, trustworthy, prompt, flexible, and all about your pet. She brought our cat a ball of yarn to play with, which we haven’t tried before, and he loved it! She sends updates and photos with each visit, and our cat who isn’t the most social or friendly with others warmed up to her quickly. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”
“Kamila was very knowledgeable and understood what was needed for my critters. She also sent pictures and updates and asked questions when needed. Very happy with Kamila and definitely book again next time.”

About: Looking to connect with owners of sweet, gentle dogs! We have two small dogs who are very playful but not pushy, and we'd love to find compatible dog friends. I'm hoping to build a trusted circle where we can help each other with dog sitting when traveling. I can host up to two dogs at a time. Message me if you're interested! 🐾 Self-employed at home. I walk my dogs 2 times during the day and 1 more time before bed. A few times a week, I bring them to Civic Park to socialize with other dogs before dinner. Once a week, I drive them to a nearby nature reserve for a hike. I feed them breakfast and dinner. Same if not more care will be given to your doggies. There are two fenced dog parks in my building that are treated daily with enzymatic chemicals. If your dog has sensitive skin, I will not bring them there to potty.
“Rachael was punctual, great with communication, and took cute photos of our boys. She seems to have a lot of experience and wasn't intimidated by our younger dog that can be a handful. We look forward to having her come again!”

“I can't say enough good things about Asuka! She took care of my two kittens during a drop-in visit and followed their very detailed and admittedly long feeding instructions to the letter. Communication was excellent throughout, and she even managed to get my shy kitten to come out of his shell, a rare feat. Having had some very difficult experiences with sitters in the past, including one that ended in a heartbreaking loss, it's not easy for me to trust anyone with my pets. While she didn’t know this, her professionalism, calm demeanor, and attention to detail went a long way in reassuring me. She was punctual, respectful of my home, and even took the time to clean their dishes after the visit. Truly grateful to have found someone so reliable and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Tatiana is so amazing with my 2 cats! I feel Like she really cares about their wellbeing. Her daily updates are fantastic and thorough. We feel so happy knowing Tatiana will be caring for them while we are away.”

Tatiana has been absolutely fantastic!!! She is responsible, detailed, goes the extra mile, by great photos knows cat behavior (I am fostering, and don’t know as much as Her), takes care of a linking toilet while I was gone, takes my kitty outside and keeps a watchful eye on him. I can’t say enough about her, in fact I was worry she might get too busy. Thank you Tatiana!!!

Our pups love Taylor! She is wonderful with our furbabies and we always feel at ease when we're away knowing Taylor is caring for them. She provides details of each visits, photos, and helps out with special requests. We appreciate her and look forward to booking her again!

Elena was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our cat, Luka, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We really appreciated how thoughtful she was about checking in and keeping us updated. I loved receiving the daily photos she captured and her updates always made me smile. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Luka's well-being and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well looked after. We highly recommend Elana to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter and look forward to rebooking with her in the future! Thank you, Elena!

We had a wonderful experience with Susan! She cared for our cat for several days while we were out of town, coming twice a day to feed and check on him. She provided a very helpful meet & greet prior to the booking and was prompt and responsive in all communications. She was gentle and patient with our shy kitty and earned his trust for belly rubs by the end of their visits!! I super appreciated her thorough narrative and photo updates each day. Thank you Susan!!! :)

I’d definitely recommend Catherine. We went on a long vacation to Europe and had Catherine drop in on our two cats every day. She looked after them so well, they are throughly spoilt and my anxious boy didn’t show any outward signs of being overly anxious (he has pulled his back fur out during previous trips. We will definitely be contacting Catherine when we atr looking for cat care in the future

Kelly was wonderful. My cat seemed to like her right away and she made sure to update me throughout my time away and sent photos. I felt very calm knowing someone kind and responsible was caring for my cat while I was away. Would recommend her services to anyone in need.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
