I also have experience in emergency situations with elderly pets, that called for immediate vet attention, puppy emergencies of all sorts, and even reactive pets. Some pets who have separation anxiety require a lot of affection, some who are high energy require a bit more exercise, and some who need mental stimulation just need exposure to different smells or visual stimulation! There are two fenced dog parks in my building that are treated daily with enzymatic chemicals. If your dog has sensitive skin, I will not bring them there to potty.
