About: I've always been able to read animals very easily. I can pick up on their body language and am able to quickly tell what they need, whether that's a break, some water, or just a little extra attention (or if they want some space!). I'm comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs from all age ranges, and I adjust to each animal instead of treating every walk the same. I think pets are truly a gift to this world and deserve every ounce of respect. I'm a full-time product designer and I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I don't have many meetings, which means I can usually step away for a walk or a drop-in during the day. Every day looks a little different, but I'm available more than most, so send me a message and we can find a time that works for you and your pup. I thrive on specific instruction and will follow your routine closely. I am extra careful to double-check that doors and gates are closed, and I think beyond the instructions to make sure your pet is taken care of. About: Hi There! My name is Kristi and I’ve cared for dogs (family dogs, friends/family dogs, and now our own!) for the last 15+ years. A little about me—I’m a Bay Area local, grew up with German Shepherds and have experience with owning and caring for large breed dogs. We currently have a 4 year old German Shepherd mix who we absolutely adore. He is friendly with other dogs, babies and kids, and has enjoyed a fur sibling when we’ve fostered in the past. I’ve volunteered at The Tri Valley Animal Shelter for about 4 years (dog walking), and have also volunteered with the Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue, where I’ve fostered 2 dogs (including one 4 month old puppy). I value time management, dependability, and responsibility. I work from home so my schedule is flexible, and am happy to adhere to your dogs usual schedule/routine. About: I have two dogs of my own and have been pet sitting since I was 11. I’ve taken care of a wide variety of animals from dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish and hamsters. I have experience training puppies and have been to many puppy training classes for my own dogs. I enjoy walking my dogs around my neighborhood and have experience walking other peoples dogs. I am a student currently so have plenty of availability! I can work around your schedule to help find a time that works best for you! I keep an around the clock watch on my clients dogs to ensure their safety and give them lots of love and play time to keep them happy and satisfied. I refill their water as needed and make sure to feed them as my clients have instructed me to. I usually take my clients dogs on walks in the morning and in the evening to keep them active and stimulated. This changes per client and their dogs needs. I can give medication to my clients dogs if they have any. If grooming and hygiene is requested by clients, I can fulfill their needs (ex: brushing, bathing, drying, brushing teeth).

About: I have been working in pet care since I was a teenager, for many years I worked alongside my mom in her pet-sitting business, caring for dogs of every size and temperament. That meant daily walks, feeding and medication schedules, and a lot of nervous dogs who just needed patience and a consistent routine. This also meant taking care of cats, birds, and other pets. Over the past year my wife and I have been the regular sitters for three local families, two of them with a pair of dogs. Each one has had us back several times, which I think says more than anything I could write here. Dogs that live together have their own dynamic, and I'm comfortable managing two at once, from separate feeding spots to walks where one pulls and the other doesn't. What you can count on from me: I follow your instructions exactly as written, and I'm honest if something seems off so you hear it from me first rather than at pickup. I work a regular weekday job, so pet care fits into my mornings, evenings, and weekends. Early mornings before work and evenings after are my most reliable windows, and I'm wide open on weekends for longer visits, walks, or multi-day stays. In your home, I follow your setup exactly: same feeding spots, same walk routes, same door and gate routine you'd use yourself. I do a quick walkthrough at the meet-and-greet to learn where things are: leashes, food, cleaning supplies, and who to call if there's a problem. I'm careful about doors and gates, I keep dogs leashed on walks, and I clean up after every visit so you come home to the place how you left it.

Only working Tuesday-Thursday at the moment so I have plenty of time for your pets needs and ensuring they are well cared for for in your absence I’m a stickler for routines and will absolutely make sure your pets regular feeding & potty schedule is adhered to. About: Hi there! I have taken care of 5+ different families pets that include dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, etc! I love taking care of dogs & cats especially and have experience in pets of all ages. I also have experience in emergency situations with elderly pets, that called for immediate vet attention, puppy emergencies of all sorts, and even reactive pets. I develop a deep care for animals and prioritize learning each and every pets personality and needs. My professional work consists of freelance work, so in between I love to surround myself with animals and nature. A lot of the time my freelance work is done from my computer. To balance that out, I frequently go out into nature as part of my routine when time allows so for those who have pets who need outdoor time, I'm a great fit for you! As long as I have my cup of joe, and my laptop I'm a pretty easy going person! My approach to taking care and building a trusting relationship with your pet would focus on prioritizing their needs by learning their personalities. Some pets who have separation anxiety require a lot of affection, some who are high energy require a bit more exercise, and some who need mental stimulation just need exposure to different smells or visual stimulation! It just depends on what your pet needs.

About: We adore animals of all kinds. We have hardwood floors for accidents, and filtered water. We have a fenced yard for running around with our kids and potty, always allow indoor access, and we don’t leave your pet alone. James has volunteered at the Dog Shelter for years, has CPR/Rescue training(for humans) and an understanding of CPR and first aid for dogs. After many years of dog sitting, we've welcomed a variety of different dogs (around 50+ at last count) into our home. We have administered eye creams, injections, and many other medicines. We don't clip nails. We are happy to send pictures and videos and even facetime or video chat by request. James works from home, and we typically go for two walks a day so we are always happy to have a guest pet with us. We have thoughtfully organized our home to avoid dangerous substances, escape issues, and to ensure maximum joy and safety! We would love to give you a tour during a meet and greet.

About: Dogs are a true source of happiness for me and hold a very special place in my heart. I love life, nature, and all living beings, but I have always shared an especially deep connection with dogs. Dogs tend to feel comfortable with me very quickly. I bring a warm, playful energy while also providing the calm guidance, patience, and consistency that help them feel safe and relaxed. Some of my greatest teachers have been the dogs who have shared their lives with me: Alaska, Toby, Polly, and now my beloved Siberian Husky, Coquito, whom I rescued from the streets of Mexico. Each one has taught me something different about trust, loyalty, patience, resilience, and unconditional love. They were never simply dogs in my life—I became part of their stories, just as they became an important part of mine. I also independently created and ran a small dog rescue in Mexico. While working a regular job, I dedicated the rest of my time—and much of my personal income—to helping dogs living on the streets. Without sponsors or outside financial support, I provided rescued dogs with food, veterinary treatment, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, companionship, and, above all, genuine love. I still treasure many photos of the dogs I rescued and cared for throughout that chapter of my life. Over the years, I have also become someone dog owners trust when they have questions about everyday care or canine behavior. Friends, acquaintances, and even people in Mexico continue to reach out to me because they know how much experience I have with dogs and feel comfortable asking for my perspective. These experiences have taught me how to understand and care for dogs with different personalities, histories, and needs. I deeply respect each dog’s individual nature and believe every one of them deserves to feel protected, understood, and loved. When your pup is with me, they will never be treated as simply another booking. I feel completely confident in the care I can offer because being deeply devoted to dogs—caring for them, protecting them, and sharing my time with them—is an essential part of who I am. This is not simply a service I provide; it is one of the greatest joys and deepest motivations of my life. I will follow your dog’s normal routine, give them attentive and personalized care, keep you updated with photos, and treat them with patience, responsibility, playfulness, and wholehearted love. I’m available for dog walks Monday through Friday after 6:00 p.m. On weekends, I can also welcome dogs into my home for overnight stays on Friday and Saturday, with pickup on Sunday. I care for furry guests in my apartment, where I live with my 44-pound husky, Coquito. My home is clean, comfortable, and well-lit, and it has a balcony with a high, secure railing for safety.
