About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. There's something special about just being present with them. I’m also a proud mom to two animal-loving girls (ages 8 and 10), and together we dream of having a house full of animals... if only we had the space! I am self employed so I can set my own hours. I love to be outside. I walk my own dog everyday. Happy to take animals on walks, play with my own dog or even go on a hike. I live on ½ an acre with lots of grass and a fenced in backyard. We live right near the Iron Horse Trail so walks are encouraged. =)
About: I have owned and taken care of dogs most of my life, I am around family dogs most days of my life. I have cared for family/friends dogs both at their homes and ours for multiple weeks throughout the year. I work from home with a very flexible schedule that I make. I can create time to take care of your pet when it is necessary to I have a fenced in yard and your pet is free to roam around the house with us. I had a dog that recently passed away at 16 years old, the environment is very pet friendly.
About: Hi! My name is Zoey, and I am a 21-year-old looking for opportunities to make sure your dog gets what they need while you are away! I've taken care of dogs for many years, but have taken more official paid positions in the last 4. Recently, I have worked to board dogs for families around my college town for periods of up to 6 hours to allow these families to go out for dinners, to the movies, and more without the need to worry about their dogs at home. I have walked dogs for local families regularly, helped take care of special needs dogs on check-ins (such as those with neurogenic bladder), and have dropped by houses to feed, play, and give love and affection to their dogs. When I was 12 years old, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to train our neighbor's golden retriever, Sandy Cheeks, to heel so that we could take her on walks and she would be easier to handle. We successfully managed to teach her, not just how to heel, but also how to come when called, shake, and roll over (quite a feat since many goldens don't love to learn how to roll over). Since then, I have loved learning how to handle dogs of all types, working with slightly reactive dogs, to energetic dogs that don't know their own strength. I am a dog enthusiast! All my life, I have loved dogs so much, but my parents were allergic and refused to get a pet. Finally, in my senior year of high school, my parents got a medium-sized golden doodle and surprised my sister and me. I cried. I can not express the level of joy I experience around dogs. Many of my friends could attest to the connection I have with dogs when I meet them. They are shocked by how much their dogs love me right away. What they don’t know is that I have carefully researched ways to approach dogs and read their body language to determine how they would like to be interacted with. I am a researcher at heart. I am an undergrad in college who has worked on multiple graduate-level research projects in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, biology, and sports studies. When I fell in love with animals, I made it a mission to know how to handle them and treat them with the care they deserve. Where to pet the dog, how to walk up to a dog, what sort of eye contact to make with the dog; these are all examples of how I have learned to pay attention to dogs and respect their boundaries in order to create deep bonds. I am my dog's safe place; she will come and sit between my legs when overwhelmed because she trusts me to protect her and not to treat her the way she needs to be treated at that moment. I would bring this level of care, passion, and enthusiasm to every workday and hope to strengthen the care and play experience of all dogs. I have worked with dogs of many breeds and many ages with many different needs. I have experience with nervous dogs, hyperactive dogs, reactive dogs, super intelligent dogs, stubborn dogs, and hypoallergenic dogs. I am an athlete, and my athletic and strength training have allowed me to handle strong dogs on lead, heavy dogs, and aggressive dogs that pull or suddenly jerk. My athleticism is particularly handy with highly energetic breeds. My own dog's favorite hobby is getting chased around by me or chasing after me. I have also been known to take dogs on runs with me or hikes. If your dog has a particular routine that involves going for a morning run, I would be the perfect candidate to keep that habit up while you're away! I have held many part-time jobs, and I am consistent and reliable. I am a great candidate to take care of your dog in any way. Consider me for all your pet care needs! I am an early riser! If you'd like a walk for your pet, morning, noon, and afternoon walks are the best! I like to schedule my pet care throughout my day, such as in the morning, at noon, and in the afternoon. It depends on what pet care you need from me, but for a home drop-in, I prefer to have time to take your pup out, feed them if necessary, get them used to my presence, calmed down, and give them a little treat before I take off. I am free for a large majority of the time. I work several part-time jobs at the moment, so scheduling around shorter shifts is no problem for me. I am extremely responsible with other people's properties. I am a detail-oriented person and not one to make mistakes or leave a mess when in another person's space. I follow the philosophy: leave every place better than you entered. In this case, I would leave your home better by giving your dogs care. When your pet is with me, their safety and emotional state are my number one priority. If I need to transport your pet anywhere, I am an excellent driver and have never once been ticketed or gotten into an accident. For walks, I have experience with animal safety and protection from other pets and wild animals. With small dogs, you never have to worry about a potential coyote attack or a larger breed biting the dog. I take dog safety very seriously and prepare for every walk with proper equipment, extra food for the dog, extra poop bags, and water. I will always switch to walking a dog or multiple dogs on the inside of me when passing other animals. I am also experienced using treats to maintain a dog's attention. I will never force your dog into any situation that their body language tells me they are not okay with. I am detail-oriented and good at shutting down potentially dangerous situations before they occur.
“I had a last-minute need for someone to check in on my dog due to a flight delay, and Hailey truly saved the day! She responded quickly, was flexible and reliable, and kept me updated throughout the entire process to ensure my dog was well cared for. I’m so grateful to Hailey for stepping in on such short notice and would highly recommend her for any future pet sitting needs. Thank you, Hailey!”

“Adaley took great care of my two cats when I was away on two separate occasions. She was endlessly attentive, knowledgeable and made my two cats feel so loved while I was away!”

About: Dog walking and dog sitting was my first ever job! I have dog walked and dog sat for my friends, my family, and worked for local dog walking company for a couple years—taking care and walking multiple dogs a week. I have also cat sat for many years and volunteered at an animal shelter and have lots of experience with different kinds of dogs and cats. I love my pets and would love to care of yours like they are my own! I’m currently working part time from home and have availability during the day for dog walks. I am also available on some weeks/weekends for dog and cat sitting! I have a fenced yard and a very walkable neighborhood for dogs. I can crate dogs and take dogs on walks. I also have had dogs in this home and currently have 1 friendly cat.
“You were very much appreciated. We ended up being out a little longer than we expected. Lexi was in great spirits when we returned. The pics were great updates. Thank you! We look forward to your help next week with Logan!”

About: Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by animals because of my parents being vets. Currently, I have six dogs, a rabbit, and a cat! I have helped take care of, raise, and train two puppy litters. Being around all kinds of animals is a joy and pets health and safety is my biggest priority. I am a full time student, however I have an extremely flexible schedule which allows me to spend as much time as need be with pets. I also am not employed, so your pets would be my first priority. I am extremely adaptable to the needs of your pets, whether it be specific dietary needs or sleeping habits, I can accommodate whatever your pets (and you!) need to feel 100% safe. Normally, I take care of mail and garbage when I am staying at a house, unless asked otherwise.
“Stephanie is incredible! She has been incredibly accommodating with our changing schedules. We can tell she really loves our dog because he is always excited to see her. Thank you, Stephanie.💙”

About: For the past 10 years, I have been the primary caretaker for a wonderful, high-maintenance dog of my own. This personal experience taught me exactly what it takes to care for pets with specific needs, whether that means managing intense energy levels, strict feeding routines, or precise medication schedules. I know firsthand that every dog has a unique personality and requires specialized patience and attention. In addition to caring for my own dog, I regularly pet-sit and walk dogs for my neighbors here in the local community. I pride myself on being incredibly reliable, attentive, and communicative, ensuring you get regular updates and peace of mind while you are away. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk around the neighborhood or just some quality companionship and belly rubs, I treat every dog I watch with the same high level of care I give my own! I am currently working remotely, and all of my work is done on my laptop, so I have a lot of free time open to take care of any pet needs you may have! I respect your space and keep your dog's routine perfectly intact. I follow your exact instructions for feeding, medication, and exercise—whether that means an energetic workout or a relaxed neighborhood stroll. I'll always send quick photo updates for your peace of mind!
About: I am a Pet owner of a 15 year old dog weeny dog, and in the past I have grown up with over 6 family dogs, 3 cats and taken care of many neighborhood pets (dog/animal sat and house sat) over the years! I am a realtor that works from home with a 12yr old son. My son Ayden is a total dog lover and very kind and caring with animals! I have a fully open schedule to care for your fur baby while you are gone! I usually go on a morning, afternoon and evening walk. My neighborhood has a huge greenbelt with tons of walking paths and grass lined with wonderfully shaded trees. I give all the animals I pet sit the same love and care as I do my own animal! I will follow exact instructions for feeding, exercise, etc. I am very flexible with my schedule and my care techniques to fit your pup's needs! I work remote at home, and am self employed so I am available at anytime of day to care for pets. I am able to stay at pet owners home and work from their home as well in order to give pets the most possible attention, love and care while their fur parents are away. I will follow all instructions given by owners and respect their wishes for their fur babies! I write notes for owner about times of feedings, walks and potty times so owner knows I am on schedule and following their instructions.
“Thanks Lara! Loved seeing the photos while we were gone! Lucy was a happy girl when we got home! Thanks for leaving some cute photo prints and doggie treats! Great communication! Take care!”

About: I have always had at least one dog in my life, so not only does my love for dogs run deeply but so does my knowledge of care. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable, fed, watered, and has gotten time to be outside to play and go to the bathroom. In addition, I have taken care of other peoples' animals throughout my life. As of right now, my weeks are open to taking care of your pets in whatever way they may need. This is my top priority. When taking care of your pet I make sure they always have water and food, have time for potty breaks, and are comfortable. I also always give them plenty of attention, cuddles, and love. If there are any special instructions, I also make sure to give the specific care your pet needs.
“Jessica is a trustworthy and committed sitter that made my animals feel loved and well taken care of. I can tell from the pictures of her playing ball with my dogs that they were in heaven with all the attention she was giving them. Great communication and easy-going with great energy.”

About: Hey there! 🐾 I've been surrounded by pets all my life, so caring for furry friends comes naturally to me. When I'm not at the elementary school where I work, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, often with a canine companion by my side. I'm excited to meet your pets and provide them with the love and attention they deserve plus gain some daily morning exercise while walking your dog! I'm looking to be able to walk dogs early in the morning before my Kids' Country job around 10am. If possible, I can do drop in visits afterward 6:30pm. I'm fully available Saturday and Sunday. I have a fenced in yard to give dogs some freedom, but I am looking to give dogs walks as often as possible around the Danville/ Alamo/ Blackhawk and San Ramon areas.
About: I adopted my four legged friend 7 years ago and have dedicated all my free time to training and adventuring with him. I adore animals and love being able to train and spend time with them so that they can enjoy the world as much as we do! I have been pet sitting for friends for nearly 10 years for both pups and kitty’s, I grew up with cats and pet sit my best friends when I need some kitty love. I am currently between scientists jobs so I am available pretty much any time we’re not on overlanding, camping or on backcountry adventures with our pup! I take a soft approach to training and care, as my boy was a rescue and very tentative with people and scared of nearly everything. I am happy to discuss care with owners and want to keep to your commands, care, and schedule because I know how important it is for our pets!
“My dog is so happy when Bar shows up at our door! Zibby gets good exercise and is always panting when she gets home, which is literally what the doctor ordered! Zibby loves her and what more could you ask for?”

“Elizabeth was a pleasure to having as our sitter. Our senior dog needs daily medication, and our youngster is needy and full of energy. We appreciate the time she took with each pup, and I loved the thorough updates. Choose Elizabeth for your pet needs!”

“Highly recommend Maya! Maya provided drop-in visits for our two dogs and four rabbits, and everything went smoothly. Communication was great throughout, she was always prompt, and it was clear our pets were well cared for. We really appreciated the reliability and attention. We will be booking Maya again.”

Kimberly took the best care of my 2 pups while I was away. But more than that, Kimberly took the best care of this nervous doe mom’s heart ❤️ She was so kind; attentive; took lots of pictures and videos that shows how much she cares for both the dogs and the human! I cannot say enough wonderful things!
Andrea took great care of our kitties. She is very responsible and genuinely loves animals. She asked excellent questions and took detailed notes during our meet & greet. She sent us photos and detailed reports for each drop-in visit and even brought in our mail!

Brooke just took care of our 3 cats and did a fantastic job. She was here on each day we requested, sent photos and made sure our fur babies had everything they needed including some much needed affection. She is really great with animals. I highly recommend her.

We had a wonderful experience leaving our cat fur a day while having Zi check in on him twice. I was quite wary of letting a stranger into my house while we were away but after meeting Zi at our scheduled meet and greet, all my fears were set aside as she was very sweet and loving towards Billy Bob, our cat. She visited on time and sent pictures and communicated during and after the visits. I’ll definitely look her up again next time we need a pet sitter!
