I am a health care industry remote working professional who enjoys spending time with my senior pug, Ginger. My residence is on a 1 acre lot with a private valley, and controlled gated access. The house also has a hummingbird colony that calls it home for decades. I love to take Ginger for walks, and engage with other pet lovers, in a world where everyone is plugged into their devices. I recognize its a huge responsibility and an honor to take care of your pet. I also travel and the need to have a loving caring home for my pet has been a major area of concern. Pets are very sensitive to changes in their routine, and absence of their care provider, and need a caring home while they await your return. With that in mind, it's important to provide both comfort - food, rest, play time, bio breaks - and also reassurance in a moment that can be stressful. I recognize the need that disruptions can cause their bodily routines to change, and those moments need care and understanding. I am fine with that. I sincerely hope that when their stay with me is complete, and they are back in your arms, they look back with a wag, as they hop in the family car for the trip home.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. I have many years of experience handling and caring for dogs of all ages, including basic obedience training. I am constantly keeping myself educated with dog behavior and training techniques. I am extremely adaptable to the needs of your pets, whether it be specific dietary needs or sleeping habits, I can accommodate whatever your pets (and you!) need to feel 100% safe. Normally, I take care of mail and garbage when I am staying at a house, unless asked otherwise.
About: Dog walking and dog sitting was my first ever job! I have dog walked and dog sat for my friends, my family, and worked for local dog walking company for a couple years—taking care and walking multiple dogs a week. I have also cat sat for many years and volunteered at an animal shelter and have lots of experience with different kinds of dogs and cats. About: I always had dogs when I grew up - usually small silkie terrier, cavalier king charles and maltese. I tend to like bigger dogs now - huskies, bulldogs, Doberman, golden retriever, doodles, poodles, chowchow. I work from home a few days a week and am pretty energic to long morning walks, lunch and long evening walks or parks are great. We only have one person or families pet in the house at a time. About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 30 years, and caring for pups is just part of who I am. My first dog was with me for 18 amazing years, and my second for 14. They were truly family! I love taking care of dogs all ages, but have a soft spot for senior dogs. I have a lot of experience with the extra care they need, like giving meds, keeping an eye on their health, and making sure they feel safe and loved. If your dog stays with our family, they’ll get all the cuddles, patience, and attention they deserve….just like we’d give our own. We love dogs and miss having our own, so we welcome all the pup cuddles! I am home during the day and can be available weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm for drop-in visits or taking your dog for a walk. You let us know what works best for your dog and we will make sure to stick to it, to help them feel as comfortable as possible and keep their routine. Our goal is to make the stay stress free for the dog and for you, as owners. For Drop-in visits, I will be sure to follow the routine you have shared for feeding, walks, and playtime to provide consistency and comfort. While with your dog, I will be sure to track feeding times, bathroom breaks, any behavioral observations, and share photos to give you peace of mind.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. There's something special about just being present with them. I’m also a proud mom to two animal-loving girls (ages 8 and 10), and together we dream of having a house full of animals... if only we had the space! I am self employed so I can set my own hours. About: I have 2 cats and sit for family/friends pets often. I can follow specific instructions well, and am well equipped to handle most animals.
