About: Like, I REALLY love dogs. As a young girl, I started my own dog walking business, attended SPCA summer camp, and spent an entire family vacation in Mexico feeding treats to stray dogs instead of going to the beach. Now I even attend a school where the mascot is a dog! But beyond a general love of pets, I'm lucky enough to have two dogs of my own who I've helped care for since age 9 (shoutout to Tiny and Pepper)! I've also pet sat for many friends and neighbors, and have two years of professional childcare experience (which is a lot more similar to pet care than you might think). Thus I can assure you that I have the skill, responsibility, and attention to detail that it takes to keep your pup both happy and safe while you're away. I'm currently home for the summer, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your pup! I'm available to do overnight pet/house-sitting for as long as you need, or even just casual pop-ins to give your dog a walk, potty break, food, and some love! I also have my own car and a valid drivers license, so I'm happy to drive your dog to the dog park, appointments, or anywhere else if that's something you want to make happen. Let me know what you need, and I'm optimistic that I can make it work. Of course, how I conduct myself in your home is entirely up to you. If you are looking for me to take on more of a house/pet-sitting combo, I am happy to keep things clean and stick around for long periods of time to keep your baby company. But if you're more of a "don't-touch-anything-except-the-front-door-handle-and-the-top-of-my-dog's-cute-little-head" person, I totally understand. Just let me know ahead of time what you expect out of my services, and that's what you will get.

I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities and needs, from high-energy pups who love long walks to older dogs who prefer a slower pace. I’m dependable, calm, and make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. I love taking dogs on walks, throwing the ball for them, and hanging outside in the backyard with them. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I plan my schedule to be flexible and dependable for owners. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and care throughout the week, with additional availability on weekends. Vicki was amazing taking care of my two elder guinea pigs while I went out of town. Unfortunately, one of my guinea pigs fell ill right before I left and was left with six various medications. Vicki was great at following instructions, asking questions, and letting me know about any behavioral changes. I was definitely thrown a lot of curveballs, and Vicki handled them like a champ. I would definitely recommend!
Bar is amazing at taking care of our 17 week old golden retriever puppy, playing with him and teaching him good behavior. She is very patient and caring. Our puppy loves spending time with her. She is also very responsive on Rover and very courteous. We are so glad she is able to take care of our puppy!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
