About: I have owned pets of diverse age and size, from litter age to senior dogs - their love is sublime, and their ask & needs endearing. I am a health care industry remote working professional who enjoys spending time with my senior pug, Ginger. My residence is on a 1 acre lot with a private valley, and controlled gated access. The house also has a hummingbird colony that calls it home for decades. I love to take Ginger for walks, and engage with other pet lovers, in a world where everyone is plugged into their devices. I recognize its a huge responsibility and an honor to take care of your pet. I also travel and the need to have a loving caring home for my pet has been a major area of concern. Pets are very sensitive to changes in their routine, and absence of their care provider, and need a caring home while they await your return. With that in mind, it's important to provide both comfort - food, rest, play time, bio breaks - and also reassurance in a moment that can be stressful. I recognize the need that disruptions can cause their bodily routines to change, and those moments need care and understanding. I am fine with that. I sincerely hope that when their stay with me is complete, and they are back in your arms, they look back with a wag, as they hop in the family car for the trip home.

About: I have always had at least one dog in my life, so not only does my love for dogs run deeply but so does my knowledge of care. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable, fed, watered, and has gotten time to be outside to play and go to the bathroom. In addition, I have taken care of other peoples' animals throughout my life. As of right now, my weeks are open to taking care of your pets in whatever way they may need. This is my top priority. When taking care of your pet I make sure they always have water and food, have time for potty breaks, and are comfortable. I also always give them plenty of attention, cuddles, and love. About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. About: I have had pets since I was a child, including cats and dogs. My family and I have had our current cat and prior cats from kittens, and our Golden Retriever Arnold since he was a puppy. I have the option of working at home full-time, and spending time cuddling your fur baby or taking him or her for walks and/or runs. I have a fenced yard and a friendly golden to keep your dog entertained and show him/her the ropes. I am happy to have a lap dog, or a more active dog who likes to fetch, swim, walk, or run.
“Sarah did such a great job watching me and my mom's 3 dogs for 10+ hours. She kindly offered an hour of her time for a meet and greet for my mom's 2 shy and nervous dogs before their stay. She sent comprehensive updates and photos in a timely manner and was very responsive to our questions. Her home was clean and organized and looked like a pleasant space for our dogs to spend the day. When we visited, she swiftly moved all the other dogs into separate bedrooms so that ours weren't bombarded as they entered and were able to get comfortable. We didn't hear a peep from the other dogs (not one bark!) as we gave her a quick rundown of their personalities/mealtimes/etc. She took them out with her "small dog" group to their neighborhood dog park for over 45 minutes. My mom and I are very satisfied with her services and plan to use her again in the future!”

About: Hi! My name is Zoey, and I am a 21-year-old looking for opportunities to make sure your dog gets what they need while you are away! I've taken care of dogs for many years, but have taken more official paid positions in the last 4. Recently, I have worked to board dogs for families around my college town for periods of up to 6 hours to allow these families to go out for dinners, to the movies, and more without the need to worry about their dogs at home. I have walked dogs for local families regularly, helped take care of special needs dogs on check-ins (such as those with neurogenic bladder), and have dropped by houses to feed, play, and give love and affection to their dogs. When I was 12 years old, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to train our neighbor's golden retriever, Sandy Cheeks, to heel so that we could take her on walks and she would be easier to handle. We successfully managed to teach her, not just how to heel, but also how to come when called, shake, and roll over (quite a feat since many goldens don't love to learn how to roll over). Since then, I have loved learning how to handle dogs of all types, working with slightly reactive dogs, to energetic dogs that don't know their own strength. I am a dog enthusiast! All my life, I have loved dogs so much, but my parents were allergic and refused to get a pet. Finally, in my senior year of high school, my parents got a medium-sized golden doodle and surprised my sister and me. I cried. I can not express the level of joy I experience around dogs. Many of my friends could attest to the connection I have with dogs when I meet them. They are shocked by how much their dogs love me right away. What they don’t know is that I have carefully researched ways to approach dogs and read their body language to determine how they would like to be interacted with. I am a researcher at heart. I am an undergrad in college who has worked on multiple graduate-level research projects in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, biology, and sports studies. When I fell in love with animals, I made it a mission to know how to handle them and treat them with the care they deserve. Where to pet the dog, how to walk up to a dog, what sort of eye contact to make with the dog; these are all examples of how I have learned to pay attention to dogs and respect their boundaries in order to create deep bonds. I am my dog's safe place; she will come and sit between my legs when overwhelmed because she trusts me to protect her and not to treat her the way she needs to be treated at that moment. If you'd like a walk for your pet, morning, noon, and afternoon walks are the best! I like to schedule my pet care throughout my day, such as in the morning, at noon, and in the afternoon. It depends on what pet care you need from me, but for a home drop-in, I prefer to have time to take your pup out, feed them if necessary, get them used to my presence, calmed down, and give them a little treat before I take off. I am free for a large majority of the time. I work several part-time jobs at the moment, so scheduling around shorter shifts is no problem for me. I am extremely responsible with other people's properties. I am a detail-oriented person and not one to make mistakes or leave a mess when in another person's space. I follow the philosophy: leave every place better than you entered. In this case, I would leave your home better by giving your dogs care. When your pet is with me, their safety and emotional state are my number one priority. If I need to transport your pet anywhere, I am an excellent driver and have never once been ticketed or gotten into an accident. For walks, I have experience with animal safety and protection from other pets and wild animals. With small dogs, you never have to worry about a potential coyote attack or a larger breed biting the dog. I take dog safety very seriously and prepare for every walk with proper equipment, extra food for the dog, extra poop bags, and water. I will always switch to walking a dog or multiple dogs on the inside of me when passing other animals. I am also experienced using treats to maintain a dog's attention. I will never force your dog into any situation that their body language tells me they are not okay with. I am detail-oriented and good at shutting down potentially dangerous situations before they occur.

About: Hello :) Olivier & Jess have been taking care of a variety of pets & homes for over 20 years. They are very experienced in feeding/plant care, walks, play time, administering oral medication, and the all important cuddles. They do not smoke and lead a fairly quiet life. Working from home has given them the incredible opportunity to spend even more time with the pets, although not sure if the fishies notice :) House Sitting: For pets & house plants The home will be left as they found it. If you are new to stay-overs, they can send over a check list of sorts to fill out & send back. As they do love snapping photos of the little (or not so little) fur babies, at your request, will send updates &/or pictures while you are away as they would like to make this time away as easy & comfortable for you as possible. We am very active & love to keep pets moving if desired. Sometimes, they like to take them for car rides or day trips, if given the ok from you ;) They will care for your little ones as if they were their own family member! Things to let them know: -Is your animal potty trained -Does your pet sleep on the bed, their bed, or in a crate -On or off leash preference -Are car rides or day trips ok -How long pets can be left alone -Any allergies -If any items in fridge or pantry that are off limits -May a non-smoking guest visit If you'd like grooming or spa treatments while your pup is on stay-cation, please give them the details so a time can be arranged. *Note: please have an account set up prior to visit. Olivier & Jess look forward to taking care of your precious family member soon :) Jess’s sister & she had been pet sitting for years together. They normally had a combined profile. As time become more flexible and Olivier & Jess traveled more often they created a separate profile, but if you'd like to see more references please ask and a link can be sent to you to view. We currently work from home & will have time to give the little ones all the care & attention they need. Olivier & Jess may go out for an appointment or to dine out, but they will always make sure that the home is locked up and the pets are taken care of. When staying at client's home they am extremely respectful, clean, & responsible. It is asked that notes be given if the pet is not aloud somewhere inside or outside of the home. As well, please let them know if shoes are to be removed & paw cleaning is needed before entering. Olivier & Jess also care for any plants you may have so do let them know if any watering needs to be done :) Most work is done from home which ensures plenty of time for the playing and giving of love to the pets, as well, if plant care is needed. Cleanliness of the homes and providing safety/comfort to the pets are of utmost importance. Whether inside the home or outside this is of top priority.

If you are traveling and need a reliable, fun, experienced sitter for your pets, I’d be happy to do a meet and greet and meet you and your pets. I have a 6year old neutered male Australian Sheppard and a 2 year old indoor/outdoor cat. Both are amenable to sharing their space with new furry friends. I'm an active retiree so I have plenty of time for your furry family members. My dog loves to play with new furry friends or chill and give them space. I have a fenced yard and dog door for in and out privileges. I accept dogs that are crated at night or free roaming. Home is well suited to pets.

Her setup is amazing—she has a fully fenced front yard, a fully fenced backyard, and indoor space, which gave Camila plenty of options to play with other dogs or relax on her own.
