About: I have owned pets of diverse age and size, from litter age to senior dogs - their love is sublime, and their ask & needs endearing. I am a health care industry remote working professional who enjoys spending time with my senior pug, Ginger. My residence is on a 1 acre lot with a private valley, and controlled gated access. The house also has a hummingbird colony that calls it home for decades. I love to take Ginger for walks, and engage with other pet lovers, in a world where everyone is plugged into their devices. I recognize its a huge responsibility and an honor to take care of your pet. I also travel and the need to have a loving caring home for my pet has been a major area of concern. Pets are very sensitive to changes in their routine, and absence of their care provider, and need a caring home while they await your return. With that in mind, it's important to provide both comfort - food, rest, play time, bio breaks - and also reassurance in a moment that can be stressful. I recognize the need that disruptions can cause their bodily routines to change, and those moments need care and understanding. I am fine with that. I sincerely hope that when their stay with me is complete, and they are back in your arms, they look back with a wag, as they hop in the family car for the trip home.

There are two fenced dog parks in my building that are treated daily with enzymatic chemicals. If your dog has sensitive skin, I will not bring them there to potty.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. There's something special about just being present with them. I’m also a proud mom to two animal-loving girls (ages 8 and 10), and together we dream of having a house full of animals... if only we had the space! I am self employed so I can set my own hours. About: I've had dogs my entire life and currently share my home with two Miniature Schnauzers, Frank and Peri. After 20 years in Moraga and now as an empty nester, I have the time and flexibility to focus on something that brings me genuine joy—spending time with dogs. I started offering care because I could never find a place where I felt completely comfortable leaving my own dogs. My goal is to provide the kind of environment I would want for Frank and Peri: plenty of outdoor time, freedom to explore, comfortable places to rest, and lots of personal attention. I've cared for dogs of all ages, including many senior dogs, and I welcome potty-trained puppies. Along with a small team of trusted staff members, we focus on keeping dogs active, supervised, safe, and happy throughout the day. Every dog is treated like part of the family while they're here. I designed this to be the kind of place I always wished existed for my own dogs. When I needed care for Frank and Peri, I was never completely comfortable with the idea of them spending their days running through a stranger's house, jumping on furniture, or sleeping in someone else's bed. I wanted a place that was professional, safe, active, and built around what dogs actually enjoy. So that's exactly what I've created. We operate more like a boutique daycare and boarding facility than a typical home stay. Dogs spend their days in a large, flat, fully fenced backyard designed for play, exploration, socialization, and relaxation. They have plenty of room to run, places to nap in the shade, constant access to fresh water, and caring supervision from me and my staff throughout the day. A typical day starts around 6:30 a.m. with outdoor play and activity, followed by a midday rest period and more socialization and exercise in the afternoon. In the evening, dogs settle into the Dog Den, our dedicated sleeping area designed specifically for their comfort and safety. The goal is simple: a place where dogs can be active, social, safe, and genuinely happy while their owners are away. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable place for dogs to be dogs. The property features a large, flat, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, roam, play, and explore. There is always access to fresh water, shade, and comfortable places to rest. Dogs are free to move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day while under supervision from my staff and me. At night, dogs sleep in a dedicated room we call the Dog Den. Dogs may sleep in their crate if that's what they're accustomed to, or comfortably outside a crate if preferred. Owners provide their dog's regular food so we can maintain familiar routines and avoid digestive upset. Whether your dog is a playful youngster, a laid-back adult, or a beloved senior, we strive to provide a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel at home while you're away. I'll care for your dog the same way I care for Frank and Peri—with attention, patience, affection, and respect for their individual personality and needs.

“Right from the start, Crystal was very accommodating and easy to work with. She's a great communicator, met with us in advance, and was totally flexible with drop off and pick up times. Crystal has a very calm and relaxed demeanor but at the same time she seems very organized and structured (which I think is good for dogs!). Coco stayed with her for 12 nights and Crystal was wonderful about telling us anecdotal stories and about filling us in on how Coco was doing. We could tell from what she said that Coco was settling right in with her. When I picked Coco up, she was so calm and happy, and that really says it all. We have already booked Crystal for multiple sits in the future. We are so happy we found her!”
