About: Hey everyone!🐾 My name is Niveya and I’m currently a graduate student and basketball player at Saint Mary’s College, and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two cats (a tortie and a domestic longhair) and several dogs (from poodles to pitbulls) over the years, so caring for both cats and dogs has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I also volunteered at local dog shelters, which taught me that every animal has a different personality. Some are energetic and playful, while others just need a little patience and time to feel comfortable. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and I’ve found that animals usually warm up to me because I stay calm and let them adjust at their own pace. Being a student-athlete has made responsibility, reliability, and consistency a huge part of my everyday life. Between balancing graduate school and basketball, I’ve learned how important it is to be dependable and communicate well. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or just sticking to their normal routine, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Because of my basketball schedule, I’m typically on campus during weekday mornings and parts of the afternoon, but I’m available throughout the late afternoons, evenings, and all weekend. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos (if you’d like!) so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands😊 I am a student-athlete at Saint Mary’s College, so I am on campus in the mornings and some afternoons for basketball workouts. I keep a structured and dependable routine, which makes me very organized when it comes to caring for pets. I have workouts in some early afternoons but I’m available throughout the late afternoons, evenings, and off all weekends for walks and playtime. I make sure every pet gets regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of love while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible! I live in a pet-friendly and fenced-in apartment where I only host up to two pets at a time, allowing me to give each one plenty of individual attention. If your pet likes to socialize, I have a roommate and teammates that are pet lovers as well! I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines. I provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, regular updates with photos (if you want them!) and lots of affection to help your pet feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I own the cutest lab poodle who just lost her sister due to old age and needs friends. It can be a dog or cat. I don’t have a job right now. I am working on getting a job remote and will have a lot of time caring for animals. I usually watch tv with cats or play with toys for either a cat or dog. I like walking dogs too. I make sure to feed them and refill the water bowls at the exact same time of day.

About: I have one French Bulldog, ZaZa who is three and a tiny poodle mix, Blake, who is 2.5! Blake has lived with me throughout most of my college experience ever since he was 2 weeks old. I trained him by myself while also taking care of zaza from time to time! I just graduated from UC Berkeley, and I am currently looking for a part time job, but as of now I am completely free to focus on caring for doggos! I also have my dog Blake at home with me, so I am open to fit with your schedule. Blake is an energetic dog, so I like to take him out on 3-5 walks everyday. I also take him to the dog park once a week to help release his energy and interact with other dogs. I have plenty of toys at home, and training treats! Since Blake is a poodle, and he has long curly hair, I have a grooming kit at home as well that we use once every two weeks!

About: I have house sit, along with taken care of cats and dogs at the same time! I enjoy walking dogs especially since it makes dogs super happy! I just moved to Moraga, since I am playing for the Saint Mary’s Volleyball team. We have trainings Monday-Friday, so my hours will vary but we do have a lot of off time. So just communicating what’s best for your schedule!! I have a gated off backyard, we do however have a pool. But the pet will always be watched over with care! So no worries there.

Having reactive, anxious dogs can be emotional, and honestly really hard when it comes to finding the right sitter. Stephanie didn’t just handle that well, she handled it with an incredible level of calmness, patience, confidence, and intuition. She asked thoughtful questions, followed our meeting protocol perfectly, and met the girls exactly where they were emotionally. She approached everything calmly and confidently, and our dogs responded to that almost immediately. By the end of the visit, our dog who normally takes a long time before allowing touch was ready to give Stephanie kisses. Our other anxious pup was already listening to cues and happily doing tricks for treats. I genuinely feel so lucky we found her. You can tell this isn’t just a job for Stephanie. She truly understands dogs, especially the ones who need a little extra time and care. I already know she’ll be someone we use long term.”

About: My experience with animals includes volunteering at animal shelters, where I spent time caring for and helping socialize dogs with different personalities and needs. I also have hands-on experience training my own dog, who I adopted when he was 6 years old and had no prior training. With patience and consistency, I taught him basic commands, waiting commands, obstacle-course skills, and how to work through food aggression. As he got older, he became deaf and later blind, so I learned how to adjust the way I communicated with him and cared for him based on his changing needs. That experience taught me a lot about patience, trust, routine, and understanding each animal as an individual. I’m comfortable working with pets who may need extra time, structure, reassurance, or gentle handling. My schedule is very open during the week, and I’m usually available throughout the day on weekdays. I mostly work on weekends, so weekend availability may be limited, but I’m happy to coordinate when possible. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet. About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs over my years as a pet sitter. Some puppies, some elderly dogs. I have experience in emergency situations, if the need arises. This is my first time trying Rover out -I’ve usually only advertised through word of mouth. Excited to get to know you & your pet. Pet care will be my main priority. Schedule can be fit around your pet. If emergency situations arise - I have experience in that. I need to exercise so taking dogs out for walks will be welcomed. I will follow the instructions laid out for me by the employer. You let me know if your pet is allowed or not allowed on furniture and I will act accordingly.
