Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine. Every day, I make sure to feed my pets, take them for walks, and provide them with playtime and attention to keep them active and happy. I also spend time grooming them and ensuring they have a clean and comfortable living space. On a weekly basis, I focus on tasks like deep cleaning their areas, scheduling vet visits if needed, and monitoring their overall health and behavior. Pet care is woven into my routine, ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve.

In both my home and my client's home, I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for pets. First, I ensure the area is pet-proofed, removing any potential hazards. I provide a safe, quiet space for pets to rest, with all their necessities like food, water, and bedding easily accessible. I maintain a regular routine for feeding, playtime, and exercise, which helps pets feel secure and comfortable. Trust is key, so I build a strong relationship with the pets by being consistent, patient, and attentive to their individual needs. I also ensure their environment is clean, calm, and enriching, with plenty of toys and mental stimulation to keep them engaged.
A typical day
A typical day as a pet sitter involves a mix of routine care and engaging activities to ensure the pets are happy and healthy. In the morning, I'll start by feeding and providing fresh water for the pets, ensuring they’re comfortable. After that, we'll usually go for a walk or spend some time playing in the yard, depending on their energy level and preferences. Throughout the day, I'll monitor their behavior, give them attention, and play interactive games like fetch, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys to keep their minds active. For more active pets, we may go on longer walks or runs, while others might enjoy some quiet time with gentle petting or training sessions. I will also make sure their living space is clean, and if needed, I’ll administer any medication as directed by the owner. In the evening, after another round of feeding and bathroom breaks, I’ll spend more quality time with the pets, whether it’s playing with their favorite toy or simply sitting with them to provide companionship. If the pets enjoy it, we might even watch TV together or wind down with some calm cuddling before bed. Throughout the day, I always keep an eye on their safety and well-being, making sure they have everything they need to feel comfortable and loved.
