About: I grew up surrounded by dogs—my grandparents bred and showed Great Pyrenees, so a love for them has always been part of my life. I was also the neighborhood “cat kid,” caring for strays, feeding them, and helping find them homes. As an adult, I’ve continued to welcome cats into my life, and I’ve also had the joy of raising a Border Collie, who I still miss dearly. Spending time with animals—whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or quiet companionship—is something I truly love. I have quite a bit of flexibility within my schedule. I am fully open Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Early mornings Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. And anytime in the evenings, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I live in an apartment with my three teen children, so boarding is best suited for small to medium dogs that are comfortable in cozy spaces—or cats who enjoy lots of attention and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and privacy. My focus is always on making your pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

“One word: AWESOME! Vivian was an amazing caretaker not only for our cat Luna, but for our backyard chickens too! Each visit we received a bunch of photos of both Luna and our chickens and Vi also came over before our scheduled visit to go over all our instructions. Would DEFINITELY book again!”

“I’m so glad Jolene and I found Shuhan! He is incredibly reliable, accommodating of Jolene’s needs and flexible with my schedule. I can tell he truly loves animals and I can trust he’ll take good care of Jolene when I’m away. He also takes the silliest pictures of Jojo, his updates/report cards always brighten my day.”

“Sheryl was great! She was punctual, communicative, and most importantly very great with our puppy. On the days she came to walk him we’d get home to a mellow puppy who I know got lots of love, attention and exercise in our absence. Highly recommend her services!”

“Kirsten was the absolute best! You can tell she has a real love of animals the moment you meet her. She house sat for me, and watched my pup. No issues what so ever. She has been a reliable, and consistent help. I cannot recommend her enough.”

About: What sets me apart is my deep understanding of pets' unique needs, gained through years of hands-on experience with animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Whether I'm caring for playful puppies, energetic adults, or senior pets with special requirements, I tailor my approach to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and understood. There is a long line of veterinarians in my family therefore I understand the importance of quality care. My goal is to provide peace of mind for you and a second home for your furry friend, where they’ll receive the same level of care and affection they get from you. Fun fact I hope to become a veterinarian after school! As a college student-athlete, my schedule is flexible. I'm available every day aligning pet care around my class and practice times. Any changes or commitments are communicated in advance for seamless planning and reliable pet care. I am a student-athlete at Berkeley and am looking for a part-time job to spend time and help out with your furry friends. About: I have always been a huge fan of animals, ever since I was a child. My family has had many dogs throughout the years, as well as cats, reptiles, and even fish at a time. I am very social and respectful of both the owners and the pets, and am looking to help however I can. In the case that I am unavailable or out of town, I would also highly recommend my good friend Kaia B as another option, as she has helped my family many times in the past and is super friendly and great with pets. https://www.rover.com/members/kaia-b-experienced-dog-walker/?bep=brand%3Drover%26event%3Daccount-sign-in-google-success I just graduated university so I have a lot of free time on my hands and am happy to housesit or take care of pets whenever works best for the owners. A proper balance of love, play, and respect. I make sure my pets know they are loved and cared for, and play with them if they want and let them rest if needed. I am happy to take pets on walks or follow certain procedures or training in order to maintain routine for the pets if necessary as well.
“Crystal did an outstanding job taking care of my two spoiled cats while I was away for the holidays. I really appreciated the attentiveness to detail, the excellent communication, and the effort to establish strong rapport with my pets (one of whom is very shy and fearful). Highly recommend Crystal!”

About: I provide reliable, detail-oriented care for pets across the Bay Area, with over a decade of hands-on experience. My background includes volunteering in animal shelters, fostering small dogs, and working at a specialty pet food store. Through this, I developed a strong understanding of pet behavior, nutrition, and overall wellness. I am comfortable working with pets who are adjusting to new environments, need structure, or benefit from a calm and consistent presence. At home, I have a 15 year old cat whom I have raised since she was just a few weeks old. Caring for her through every stage of life has made me highly observant and attentive to subtle changes in behavior. I am thoughtful about when a pet needs space, when they need interaction, and how to keep them comfortable in their routine. I specialize in cats and small to medium sized dogs. My approach is centered on maintaining each pet’s normal routine, minimizing stress, and providing steady, individualized care. Whether that means quiet companionship or more structured walks and engagement, I adjust to what each pet responds to best. I prioritize clear, consistent communication. You can expect timely updates, photos, and reliable follow through on any instructions. My goal is to make the experience seamless for you and genuinely comfortable for your pet while you are busy or away. I am currently job seeking, which allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to pet care. I am available Monday through Friday for visits, walks, and in-home care throughout the day. I am flexible with timing and able to accommodate different routines to match your pet’s normal schedule! I provide care in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, and any specific preferences your pet has. Before each booking, I like to understand your pet’s behavior, routine, and any sensitivities so I can provide safe and consistent care. I am attentive to changes in mood or health and will communicate promptly if anything seems off. I prioritize keeping your home secure while I am there and treat your space with respect. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout each visit so you always know how your pet is doing. I am most comfortable working with cats and small to medium sized dogs, and I adjust my approach to match each pet’s personality, whether they need a calm presence or more active engagement.
About: I’ve taken care of 2 dogs and 5 cats since I was young and have pet sat on multiple occasions for friends and family. I currently take care of my family’s elderly cat. I am completely free after 2pm most of the week and available on weekends depending on availability. Please let me know what works best for you, thank you :) I will stay close to your pet(s) and make sure that they are comfortable and well taken care of. Pets mean so much to me and this feeling extends to others’ pets.
About: I have grown up and lived with multiple dogs my whole life. I have experienced every stage of a dog’s life, from training new puppies to caring for seniors! I understand that each pup requires individualized care, attention, and patience, and I am more than happy to meet each dog’s unique needs, personality, and energy level. I'm currently in my last semester of grad school and working as a dietetic intern, so I have lots of time to care for your fur baby on the weekends, Wednesdays, and on Mondays before noon! I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure with me. This may include giving fresh water, specific feeding routines, long walks, lots of affection (while respecting boundaries for more anxious animals) and more! I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs. In a client’s home, I make sure the space is left clean, follow all instructions carefully, and of course provide updates with photos!
About: I’ve had pets of all kinds since I was little, ranging from a small chihuahua to large herding dogs. I’ve owned cats my whole life, and have experience owning birds, fish, reptiles, and livestock. I’m familiar with various dog-training methodologies and am happy to support your pets wherever they’re at in life. Whether they have lots of energy and are still learning, or are in their golden years and need some help and medications, your pets are in good hands. I work a non-standard schedule in San Francisco so I’m available only for early morning (before 7:30am) and late evening (after 7pm) visits on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturdays. I have more flexibility on Tuesdays to be available any time during the day. I happily provide feedings, play times, potty-breaks, and brushing. I’m also well versed in senior care and am happy to assist with supplements or medications, if needed. I like to have at least two sources of water available in case one gets spilled or dirty. And I’m happy to crate you pup, if needed.
“Anna took such great care of Theo and gave him so much love. He’s a quirky dog and she listened to all of my concerned and made me feel at peace leaving him with her when I rarely leave him with anyone. Would hire her again in an instant!”

“Rong is fantastic! She’s taken care of my kitty a couple of times now and always does a great job. She’s been super accommodating to last minute schedule changes, and is always kind and thorough. My cat loves her and I feel so much better leaving knowing Rong is watching her!”

About: I volunteer at Berkeley Humane, feeding and walking and playing with lots of pooches. My last dog was a Chocolate Lab that I took care of for 15 years. I'm retired. I volunteer for the Civil Air Patrol as a search and rescue pilot, and also at Berkeley Humane feeding and walking various doggos. My schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run around. I'm also half a block from Ohlone Dog Park which also has an adjunct dog park for small dogs.
About: Hi, I’m Cassandra, you can call me Cass if you like. I grew up in the farmlands of western Massachusetts, where animals were everywhere, so I’ve been surrounded by them my whole life. Most pets feel instantly comfortable with me, and I’ve even successfully tamed feral kittens for rehoming on several occasions. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even a chicken or two, and I work part-time at a dog sanctuary fostering small dogs from Mexico to loving homes in the Bay Area. I’m patient, attentive, and adaptable, able to meet each pet’s unique needs—whether it’s a senior dog requiring extra care, a shy cat needing gentle reassurance, or a playful pup ready for walks and cuddles. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m a creative consultant helping mission-driven individuals and nonprofits reach their goals and make maximum impact. I work mostly from home, which allows me plenty of flexibility to accommodate dog walking times, feedings, and cuddle sessions. On the days I have in-person meetings, they typically last 1–3 hours, so I can easily plan around them to ensure pets get the attention and care they need throughout the day. I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes. I live in a small 500-square-foot cottage with my two cats, and my adult daughter comes home from grad school occasionally, so caring for pets in my own home isn’t feasible. Focusing on in-home care allows me to give each pet personalized attention in their familiar environment, keeping them safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their families are away

About: I have about 6 years of extensive pet care. Taking care of family friends pets has allowed for a wide range of types of dogs all ages and sizes. From puppies to dogs with lots of medical problems, I love and care for each and every one. Growing up my family always had 2 dogs at once, so I’m able to multitask with multiple dogs. As a college student, I only go to classes one hour at a time and have the rest of the day to go for walks and feed. I’m not there too late or too early, so I’ll always be back for morning/evening walks and time for food. In clients home I make sure to follow their rules depending on each person. Crate if necessary, or making sure doors are closed and locked before I leave.

Would recommend Ruby. She’s thoughtful and perceptive to the needs of your pet — and also respectful of house rules. I knew she was great when my cat (who is reticent to new people) was immediately comfortable with her; a sign that she’s truly an animal person!

Went above and beyond taking care of my two cats! I felt so comfortable (and happy!) with the care she gave them between lots of extra love, fixing the litter robot (thanks again! lol), and great reports that let me know everything going on with them. Will definitely have her help watch them again for me!

Alyna was great! It was my first time leaving my somewhat anxious velcro cat alone for a few days, and Alyna made sure she had plenty of playtime and snuggles. She was super easy to communicate with and responded quickly to messages. Would definitely book her again, it was wonderful to come home to a happy cat

I’m so glad Jolene and I found Shuhan! He is incredibly reliable, accommodating of Jolene’s needs and flexible with my schedule. I can tell he truly loves animals and I can trust he’ll take good care of Jolene when I’m away. He also takes the silliest pictures of Jojo, his updates/report cards always brighten my day.

Stephanie is amazing is honestly the best way to put it. From the communication before even meeting our girls to the actual meet-and-greet itself, she exceeded every expectation we had. Having reactive, anxious dogs can be emotional, and honestly really hard when it comes to finding the right sitter. Stephanie didn’t just handle that well, she handled it with an incredible level of calmness, patience, confidence, and intuition. She asked thoughtful questions, followed our meeting protocol perfectly, and met the girls exactly where they were emotionally. She approached everything calmly and confidently, and our dogs responded to that almost immediately. By the end of the visit, our dog who normally takes a long time before allowing touch was ready to give Stephanie kisses. Our other anxious pup was already listening to cues and happily doing tricks for treats. I genuinely feel so lucky we found her. You can tell this isn’t just a job for Stephanie. She truly understands dogs, especially the ones who need a little extra time and care. I already know she’ll be someone we use long term.

Harriet does a great job, whatever is asked or needed, making it much easier to be away and not worry about pet care. She consustently provides updates, pictures, and notes about how everyone is doing or if something is different and is very responsive to texts. Flexible and accomodating on scheduling too. Couldn't ask for better care while I'm away.

I have used Victoria’s services many times and can confidently recommend her to others now that she is on Rover! As usual, for this session she gave both of my pets loving care and attention and updated me every day with pictures. They love her and I enjoy great peace of mind when I’m away leaving them with a great reliable sitter!

As always Michaela is fantastic, this is our 4th time booking her and she’s always reliable and goes above and beyond to help our cats feel safe and our home stay clean while we’re away. She communicates well and is accommodating for key pick up and drop off.

Christina is amazing! Hollie was fresh off the streets and spent most of her time hiding from others, but Christina has helped immensely to get her used to the presence of people that don't look like me. ;) She's always been incredibly flexible and a joy to communicate with. Couldn't recommend her enough.
