“Thanks for the drop-in dog care during our long weekend away. Tania had very good communication, sent photos and all went very well. Lucy was a happy dog when we got back!”

“Cyndi was such a big help when my husband and I got a new puppy. She came over twice a week for two weeks to help us give him lunch and provide some snuggles and play time. Cyndi does a great job of updating you with photos and a summary of the time she spent with our pets. She also provides a lot of great information and feedback if you have questions about a veterinarian or food products/toys. Overall, she did a lovely job and we will definitely be using her for future puppy needs?”

“Carrie was our first experience with Rover. It was obvious, when meeting our cat for the first time, that Carrie made a special connection with our cat. She paid attention to the instructions we left for her to follow, and helped us feel confident in our selection, especially with daily photos and postings of our cat. We are totally pleased with Carrie and the wonderful care she provided for Ms Mimi. Mimi and her parents look forward to the opportunity to using her services in the future.”
“Michael did a fantastic job - he had no trouble with our complicated smart home instructions and had no issues giving our cat his medication. Will request him every time we go out of town.”

“Samantha was wonderful to Edger and myself over the course of 10 days. With in 2 days Edger came around to her care and loving touch. All that I asked to attent to was executed perfectly. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and consistancy. I hope to be able to use her again in Feburary this year. Thank you, Katie Kirk”

About: My name is Danielle and I love caring for animals of all kinds. I currently take care of a small dog, Bubs, and a cat, Moose. As a pet owner I know how important your animals are to you. I am punctual, dependable, trustworthy, and know how to keep your pet engaged. I have been caring for animals most of my life and it brings me so much joy. I am usually the friend people call when they need their house or pet looked after. I am good at communicating and can keep you updated with texts or photos. Thank you for your consideration I am self employed and have a flexible schedule. I like to pick up pet care work when I have extra time and as a source of extra income. I can take your dog on engaging walks and get them easily into their crate if needed. I can check on their food/water, give them pets, treats, or engaging playtime. I love connecting with your pet and tending to their specific needs. I can update you on how they are doing and if there were any issues.

“We've had Olivia watch our two cats a few times now, and she is great! She spends a lot of time playing with them, and the photos she sends of each visit really make us smile when we are far away from the little ones. I'd definitely recommend Olivia for cat sitting, and anything else!”

“Sofia always takes such great care of our cats! She came on short notice to check in on our kitties over the weekend and was attentive and responsive as always. She does great playing with our younger, very active kitty. Thank you, Sofia!”

About: I have cared for pets my entire life. My family had dogs and I owned a horse that I cared for and paid for since I was 13 until I left home for college. St that point I gave her to a person that would take care of her as I would. Since that time I have adopted cats as I lived in homes that did not allow dogs . I had to get my dog time in caring for friends and neighbors dogs whenever I could I’m currently working but have a flexible schedule. Caring for or playing with your pet will be my pleasure and your gift to me. I love all dogs and cats but will admit I miss having a dog of my own I can care for any cat in my home. I would prefer to sit for dogs in their own environment. I will care for your friends with just as much love and attention as you yourself would
“As always, Harold has such a good attitude when caring for our special needs girl - Zulu absolutely adores his company & helping her potty midday while Mom & Dad are at work! Highly recommend for all kinds of pets, but especially senior & disabled dogs like our paraplegic chocolate lab”

“Gabby was very responsive and willing to book with us on short notice to start building a relationship with our skiddish dog, Juniper. Juniper had no experience with having a dog walker or sitter before and so we knew it was going to be a trial and error process and Gabby was very helpful in reporting back to us how Juniper did during her visit. Thanks, Gabby!”

“I chose Rebecca to look after my new 6-month old three-legged kitten. Based upon her profile and our meet & greet, I felt I could count on her to take good care of my precious little guy. Rebecca is an excellent communicator and detail oriented. My kitty was happy and well cared for when I returned. I will be reaching out to Rebecca next time I have to leave my little guy at home.”

About: Pet is part of my family. I grew up in a family with pets all the time and have extensive experience taking care of dogs and cats! I am currently working remotely and have enough time to take care of all the pets! My house has a big backyard for dogs to run and play and enough space inside the house for them. The house has fenced backyard and I am mainly working remotely, so I am able to pay attention to the pets most of the time!

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization and training throughout various life stages. I currently share my home with three dogs of my own and regularly care for friends' cats and dogs, both in my home and theirs. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from small lap dogs to large breeds, and know that each comes with its own personality, energy level, and needs. People tell me I'm not just a dog person but also someone dogs are drawn to. Cats have been a constant in my life just as long as dogs have. I know how to read their cues, respect their space, and earn their trust on their own terms. I genuinely love every stage of a pet's life and know how to meet each animal where they are, whether that's an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a laid-back senior. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. I do Rover to supplement my nonprofit career, so when I take on your pet it's because I genuinely want to be here, not because I have to be. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home! I work from home on a flexible schedule that I set myself, which means I'm present with your pet throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and can separate pets as needed, so your animal has a safe, comfortable space even with my own dogs in the home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I treat every pet like they're my own. My home is pet-proofed with a fenced yard, and I can separate animals as needed so everyone has their own safe space alongside my own dogs. I always want to know your pet's routine, quirks, and preferences ahead of time so I can keep things as normal and comfortable as possible for them. With a lifetime of experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, I'm confident handling whatever comes up, and my crisis intervention background means I stay calm and act fast if an emergency arises.

About: I grew up with pets (cats, dogs, hamsters, parrots, fish) as a kid. When I lived in SF during high school, I was a babysitter and sometimes house-sat and pet-sat dogs and cats for neighbors in Bernal Heights. After moving to the East Bay, I've been in school and working other jobs, so I stopped pet-sitting. As a recent graduate, I have the time, and I would love to care for your pet. I'm a recent graduate, and I am currently looking for a flexible part-time job, and therefore, pet care can fit into my schedule and daily routine. When taking care of your pet at home, I put safety first, so building trust with the pet is my priority, and I do so by being patient and understanding.

This was a long hall being separated from Edger for a month. Te' did a great job. So many litter box refreshes, many cans to open and serve and dental treats to dispense. All done expertly. I go home earlier than expected but no reason to adjust any payout. My place was as good as I found it and Edger actually met me at the door late in the night of my return. Thanks to Te' my month out of California ended peacefully and calmly.

Harriet does a great job, whatever is asked or needed, making it much easier to be away and not worry about pet care. She consustently provides updates, pictures, and notes about how everyone is doing or if something is different and is very responsive to texts. Flexible and accomodating on scheduling too. Couldn't ask for better care while I'm away.

We are very pleased with how Yasmin treated our dogs. She really took the time to play and take care of both dogs during her visit. My dogs loved playing with her and were always excited to hear her arrive. I will definitely book her again to take care of my dogs in the future as I know my dogs love and trust her.
