“Cyndi was such a big help when my husband and I got a new puppy. She came over twice a week for two weeks to help us give him lunch and provide some snuggles and play time. Cyndi does a great job of updating you with photos and a summary of the time she spent with our pets. She also provides a lot of great information and feedback if you have questions about a veterinarian or food products/toys. Overall, she did a lovely job and we will definitely be using her for future puppy needs?”

About: I offer trusted pet care with years of experience, including puppy training and senior dog care, ensuring each pet feels loved and comfortable with me. I work part-time on weekends (on call), so I have plenty of availability during weekdays and evenings to provide pet care and dog walking services. I provide loving, personalized care for pets in clients' homes or parks by maintaining their routings, ensuring they feel comfortable, and engaging them in fun activities.

About: I specialize in walking and watching out for big senior dogs. I also experience working with a wide variety of breeds, personalities and ages of dogs as a volunteer and foster with Oakland Animal Services and Milo Foundation. This includes working with deaf dogs. I work remotely from home and have time and flexibility throughout my day to provide your pet with the stimulation s/he deserves. Being with animals brings me a lot of joy. I follow feeding schedules religiously, and am an avid treat giver unless I have been instructed otherwise. I love talking up pets and giving them lots of praise and play. For dogs, I take them out for frequent toilet breaks and stimulation. For cats, I enjoy playing with them and will clean the litter box once per day.

About: Took care of my coworkers diabetic cat for 2 weeks and loved it! I had to give him his insulin shot and monitor his glucose. I have a full time job and will do this after work and available most Saturdays. Depending on the day I might be able to do it before work. I would be open to caring for a dog since I do have a big backyard. Since it’s not completely closed off, I wouldn’t sit a cat at home.

About: I volunteer at a dog shelter which has improved my skills in dog walking and understanding dog behavior. I have been taking care of dogs for neighbors, friends and family since I was 12. I walk dogs daily, prepare meals, play with them, and give medication, if needed. Hi. My name is Yesica. I am currently a high school senior. After 4:30pm, I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets throughout the week. I am also available for boarding on weekends and holidays. In my home, I have a doggy door for small to mid-size dogs that leads to a fenced yard with plenty of space for your dog to play or lounge in the sun. I also live in a very peaceful neighborhood with very little car traffic. We have an open space nearby that's dog friendly.

“Mason is prompt and responsive, and I appreciate his willingness to take care of my senior shepherd who can’t walk on his own anymore. i look forward to having him take care of my dogs many times again!”

About: Longtime pet owner of two wonderful canines and previously a cat. I am extremely patient with all animals big or small, young or senior. I am well past the “squeamish” part of being a pet owner. No task is too much! I can take care of basic needs such as feeding, water, “poo patrol”, grooming, and playing. I am willing to go above and beyond to pamper your companions and give you peace of mind! I am currently a student attending Contra Costa College. My morning schedule, I can come in around 9am on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and the weekend. I am typically free daily after 2:15pm and on to take care of your fur babies afternoon or evening needs! I will always let a client know ahead of time whether I have upcoming school projects or whether i’ll be out of town. I believe in strong communication! For my dogs we live in an area with coyotes so we have high fences and no matter how late we monitor them when they are outside. Our front yard is fenced to avoid our dogs running out into the street however, as extra precaution when guests or visitors are outside they are behind their dog fence. Our dogs are crate trained so not only is it their “safe space” it is their sleep space, it is not used as punishment. Inside they have plush bedding and a water bowl. As for our cat, we had screens on windows to avoid him being outside, if he was outside it was on a cat leash, we took note of all the plants in our house whether they were toxic for our pets and we would spray holistic deterrents for our pets especially the cat.

“Carrie was our first experience with Rover. It was obvious, when meeting our cat for the first time, that Carrie made a special connection with our cat. She paid attention to the instructions we left for her to follow, and helped us feel confident in our selection, especially with daily photos and postings of our cat. We are totally pleased with Carrie and the wonderful care she provided for Ms Mimi. Mimi and her parents look forward to the opportunity to using her services in the future.”
