About: My family and I have a love for animals. We have gone through many different species of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and birds. Apart from my family, I’ve helped house-sit and cared for my friend’s dog for a few years now whenever she’s away. About: Hi everyone, I work in mental/behavioral health and am saving up for graduate school! I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. I moved to California from the Netherlands a few years ago. I am looking for new pet sitting clients in the East Bay or San Francisco. I can do overnight pet sitting as well as walks or visits during the day. I also live right by Lake Merritt so if you live nearby, I’d love to take your dog on walks around the lake. A full loop around the lake takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes (a little over 3 miles). I can pick up and drop off your dog at your house. I have several years experience in cat sitting as well as several years dog sitting and dog walking (middle-aged Labrador, middle-aged German Shepard mix, and puppy Border Collie). I work swing shift (roughly from 3-11pm) on Sunday-Thursday. So, I’m available for drop-in visits or walks during the morning/early afternoon. On Fridays and Saturdays, I might have availability but sometimes I have plans. Please just reach out to check if I’m available on those days! I can’t have pets at my apartment but at clients’ homes, we can play with toys, or we can walk around the neighborhood or to a nearby park. I like to know a little bit about them before I care for them so that I can try to make them feel comfortable being around me.

About: I have cared for multi-pet households. I have experience feeding, brushing, changing litter, and administering medication. I love animals of all sorts. I am also good with them. I am good at reading their body language, and a lot of them gravitate towards me for whatever reason. They tend to be comfortable with my presence. I am between jobs at the moment, so that means I am somewhat more flexible to work around your schedule. I am a little bit busy with stuff in my personal life, and obviously I have boundaries about when I can and can't be at your home and how much work I want to take on, but the lack of structure in my life right now means we have more options for how I can show up for your pets. I am not in school either at the moment. I am not planning to have this be my only source of income, but for now I am flexible. I can't have pets come to my apartment; it is too small and I don't live on the bottom floor so it would be too much of a hassle to take them outside. I can only come to your home. I will pay close attention to your instructions about how to care for your pets and any important other details I need to know.
