“Stephanie did a great job watching my cat while I was out of town! Stephanie sent daily updates and pictures that made me feel like I really knew how my cat was doing! And Stephanie took such good photos!”
“Fuliang did a great job. I felt my cat Alba was well cared for. I got a nice detailed report on the last day. Could have used a picture of my cat everyday but otherwise I am a very satisfied customer and will use this sitter again for my pet sitting needs.”

“Cyvanah was wonderful with my baby boi Hilo. I especially appreciated the multiple photos and summaries of each day from Cyvanah. It put my mind at ease and I looked forward to each update while away. She bonded with my kitton spectacularly and he was cuddling on her lap in no time. She has a way with cats and I would trust Cyvanah with any fur baby of mine. She is professional, punctual and a great communicator.”

“Jessica did a great job looking after Kiwi. She was able to coax her out to play by day 2, which is an impressive fear for any sitter as she is usually quite shy. Very punctual and timely rover cards made me feel much more reassured about Kiwi on our trip!”

About: I hang out with cats pretty often and would love to spend more time with them! My friend loves my cat sitting so much that she flies me out to Seattle just to catsit! I have a pretty flexible day job and have time to look after pets. I usually like to do drop-ins around midday or later. Weekends work too! I am very respectful of others' homes and love to send pictures of pets to their owners because I know how much they miss their fur babies!
“I was super stressed about finding a sitter for my 11 week old pup last minute for an all day training at work, and even more nervous about having a stranger visit my place! But Alejandra had fantastic reviews and even initiated meet & greet, which I really appreciated. And when she came to meet me and MoMo - boy, did my puppy LOVE her immediately, which made ME love her too!! :) Finally, on the day of the appointment, Alejandra showed up on time, followed all my requests, and took such good care of my puppy for an hour. TYSM Alejandra, I will book with you again next time MoMo needs a sitter!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“As always Danielle took wonderful care our girl Dahlia. Plus she watered our pack yard for us and brought in our mail. I can’t tell you what a relief it is for us to know that she is here stopping by taking care of our precious Dahlia, and odds and ends while we are away. Thank you Danielle ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and have been caring for pets almost my entire life. I’ve been a proud cat mom to my fluffy calico, Suki, for the past five years, and she’s completely stolen my heart. I also have three years of experience walking dogs through Wag in San Francisco, working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. While I absolutely adore my cat, nothing beats spending time with dogs — especially getting outside for a good walk. Dog walking is something I truly love: meeting new furry friends, getting some movement, and helping dogs stay happy, healthy, and well-cared for. I’m reliable, attentive, and always treat pets as if they were my own. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Dog walks or pet visits are a wonderful and welcome break from my desk and allow me to give pets focused, attentive care. I’m flexible and reliable with scheduling and enjoy building walks and check-ins into my day! I never force a relationship with an animal and always move at their pace when building trust. I’m patient, observant, and respectful of each pet’s comfort level. At the same time, I will be firm and attentive in situations that require diligence, such as crossing streets, navigating other dogs, or maintaining safety routines. My goal is for pets to feel both secure and cared for at all times.
About: My pet care experience includes looking after cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. I'm happy to maintain litter boxes, take dogs on long walks and play fetch, spend time with cats, administer pills and medications to any animal (even if they are not excited about it), and provide pets and scritches whenever needed I'm currently working 8-4:30 with open availability every early morning, evening, and weekend from now until June 6! During the summers, my availability will be completely open! I am experienced caring for pets in other people's homes, but unfortunately not in my own because I have two rescued cats of my own. I love taking dogs on walks, feeding and spending time with cats, and looking after all types of animals in your home!
About: I have cared for multi-pet households. I have experience feeding, brushing, changing litter, and administering medication. I love animals of all sorts. I am also good with them. I am good at reading their body language, and a lot of them gravitate towards me for whatever reason. They tend to be comfortable with my presence. I am between jobs at the moment, so that means I am somewhat more flexible to work around your schedule. I am a little bit busy with stuff in my personal life, and obviously I have boundaries about when I can and can't be at your home and how much work I want to take on, but the lack of structure in my life right now means we have more options for how I can show up for your pets. I am not in school either at the moment. I am not planning to have this be my only source of income, but for now I am flexible. I can't have pets come to my apartment; it is too small and I don't live on the bottom floor so it would be too much of a hassle to take them outside. I can only come to your home. I am very respectful of boundaries and property when I enter someone else's home. I will pay close attention to your instructions about how to care for your pets and any important other details I need to know. I am responsible and detail oriented, so you can trust me in your home and with your animals. I care that my clients feel secure with me being there while they are away.
About: I have experience in providing care to both cats and dogs of friends, family members, neighbors and colleagues. I can provide boarding, house sitting, or drop ins for cats. For dogs, I can provide house sitting and drop ins, but no boarding. I work from home, so I’m home all day most of the day. My workload is light enough that I can be present for fur babies under my care throughout the day. I like to chat with pet parents to learn about their personality and behaviors. I can provide feedings, changing water and litter boxes, playing with and entertaining, and giving lots of rubs and cuddles to your fur baby when they’re under my care.
About: I've grown up with multiple dogs and am now happy to have my own little corgi-terrier named Karl and a black cat named Billie. I'm my friend's go-to pet sitter and have been loving getting to know the other dogs in the neighborhood. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, large dogs, and reactive dogs. I am available in the evenings on week days and anytime weekends. Please do not book recurring walks if they need to occur earlier on weekdays. I also work as a para educator, so my schedule is flexible, but I will be unavailable for up to 9 hours at a time. Pet care and safety is very important to me. My own dog has very high needs and requires a lot of attention and care, especially on walks, so I completely understand all the peculiar needs of all pets and their individual personalities.
“Viola was great during these particularly tricky drop ins. With one kitty recovering from surgery and the other one having territory aggression, it was a lot for any sitter to deal with. But she did a great job and let us know how both our babies were handling it each day. She even stayed longer than the designated time to accommodate our recovering kitty’s needs. A real champ even in the face of a lot of sick kitty hissing (sorry again!) Thanks Viola we appreciate it so much!!”

“Sarah did a great work again. She followed my notes well and also very care my cat’s feeling while I am not home with her. Since the first day Jazz seems confused and unhappy why she here but no me, and Sarah gave her patience and pet her, and the next day my cat more close to her. Also she sant photos and reports about her visit, very responsible.”

“Joyce is great! She took care of my cat Santana (aka Tana) while I was away for the weekend. She takes the best pictures and I appreciated being kept up to date on how Tana was doing throughout the weekend. Even though Tana is shy and skittish she warmed up to Joyce and she seemed very happy and content when I returned! I would definitely use Joyce’s services again. Thank you so much!”

“Had an emergency and needed to be it of town for a funeral and since Tony had just been here, I completely trusted he would take great care of my cat and home. Even last minute on a holiday weekend Tony came through and I was so grateful!”

Oakland cat parents share their Rover experiences
When my cat got an ear infection right before my trip, intrepid Laura came and gave her ear drops twice a day. Laura was quick, gentle, and no-nonsense with the meds, which put my mind at ease! And my other cat, who did not need ear drops, soaked up Laura’s kind attention. I will absolutely look to Laura for cat care in the future!

Jennifer came through last minute when my previous person cancelled & I was already out of town. She checked on my cat Kava daily & was super easy to communicate & coordinate with. This was my cat's first time home alone so Jennifer coming by daily was definitely appreciated (even if my cat was hiding part of the time lol). She gave me updates after each visit that helped put me at ease. I'd definitely work with her again in the future!

Jasmine was wonderful to work with. She came by to go over everything even though it was a last minute booking. She took great care of our 2 cats, including giving a daily medication. Her notes and pictures gave me confidence about how things were going while we were away.
