About: I have had animals my whole life and have volunteered at animal shelters and rescues. I love animals and will take care of your baby like I would my own. I will be in school full-time starting in the new semesters and am at home most days. I am also available for pet sitting and boarding on my days off. I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks. I also have a crate available in the home if needed. My 8 year old chihuahua will help keep your dog entertained and she loves other dogs.

About: have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both being a dog owner and pet sitting for others. I have a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle who I have raised and cared for since he was young, so l understand how important it is to provide dogs with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and a consistent routine. Through caring for my own dog, I'm experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic grooming, potty breaks, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and safe. I have also cared for other dogs for friends and family, which has helped me become comfortable working with dogs that have different personalities, routines, and needs. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own. I'm patient, attentive, and will make sure your pet receives plenty of affection. playtime, and supervision while you're away. I'm also happy to follow any special routines or instructions you have so your dog feels as comfortable as possible. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine because I have a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle of my own. I make time throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m happy to adjust my routine based on your pet’s normal schedule and individual needs so they can feel comfortable and cared for while they are with me. I live in an apartment and make safety and supervision a priority at all times. Dogs are always leashed when leaving the apartment and carefully supervised in hallways, elevators, and outdoor areas. I make sure each pet has a comfortable and clean space to relax, along with regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. Since I also have a friendly Miniature Poodle, I would make sure dogs are introduced carefully and that everyone is comfortable around each other. I’m also happy to follow each owner’s feeding schedule, walking routine, house rules, and any special care instructions so their pet can feel as close to their normal routine as possible.
“Everything appeared to be taken care of to my specifications and my cats were happy and healthy when I got home! Matthew was also very communicative and friendly throughout my time being gone. Will book with him again!”

About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!
“Chloe is a true professional. On time and provided plenty photos. she is also very communicative. she offered solutions to last minute changes. she was great with Lola and was very respectful of my home. i will definitely book Chloe again because she is an awesome person.”

About: Starting eight years ago with our energetic all-black German Shepherd, I have spent the last eight years reliably watching dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. I am currently seeking full-time employment, but right now, I am not working and have extensive flexible time to care and love on your furry family member. Living in an apartment with nearby dog parks, I offer attentive, active in-home care, utilizing my extensive free time and eight years of experience to provide long daily walks and personalized attention.
“Cyvanah was so attentive and experienced with our rambunctious (difficult) cat and our shy, timid cat. We appreciated the daily pictures, messages and updates on their daily shenanigans. She was very communicative and when she couldn’t find our shy cat Mina, she made sure to call us to check other hiding spots, which was thoughtful. Would highly recommend Cyvannah to others - you will be in trusted hands!”

“Jessica is wonderful! She sends great photos with the Rover card. To my surprise, I received a photo of my normally shy, skittish cat cuddling up in her lap - it made me so happy! Will certainly rebook. Great communication & I can tell that my cats are well taken care of when I’m away.”

“Lia is the best! She takes such good care of my dog and always goes above and beyond. You can tell she really loves what she does, my pup is always so happy to see her. She gives great updates and sends the cutest pics too. Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats of all sizes for several years, and I look forward to helping you & your furry family members next! Whether it be 1:1 walks, positive reinforcement training, or simply providing your animal with a companion while you’re away, I’m here to help out! I am able to work from home most days. In fact, I am only in the office one day each week. So, this allows me to have lots of time to host your pet for boarding OR to do check-ins as needed. So, let me know how I can best help out! I am a huge proponent of safety in and around my home. As such, I always make sure the environment is free of choking hazards or items that could get a pet into trouble. I also make sure that I am up to date on preventative cleaning and care for animals.
“Went above and beyond taking care of our babies, looking forward to working with Kevin soon again! So grateful for all all he has done thus far, and additionally isvery impressive with follow ups, app guidance, and punctuality!”

About: I have my own dog and cat! And I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life! Let’s have our animals play together! So much fun! I have also been house sitting for awhile! I make sure all the animals I care for are well taken care of! I have also been working with trusted house sitters since June 2025 and have gotten very good reviews. I have added some of my reviews from trusted house sitters to my photos! I work at a school for my main job, and with summer coming up I need the extra income. I also want to meet more animals around my area! I will always follow your directions to a T. I love animals and I always want to make sure they are well taken care of.
About: Hi there! I’m so excited to connect with you and your furry family members. I offer loving, attentive in-home dog walking and pet sitting right in the comfort of your pup’s favorite place—their own home! Whether your dog thrives on energetic neighborhood strolls, playful backyard fetch sessions, or just cozy, mindful companionship while you’re away, I tailor every visit to match their natural rhythm and personality. My journey with dogs is rooted in deep care and connection. I’ve had the joy of fostering rescue dogs, helping them feel safe, loved, and confident while preparing them for their forever families. I still keep in close touch with their adoptive parents (and love getting their updates and photo check-ins!). I also regularly dog-sit for family, so caring for pups with all kinds of temperaments and needs feels completely natural to me. Because I work part-time, my schedule is wonderfully open and flexible. I have plenty of free time during the day to dedicate to long walks, attentive care, and quality bonding. I’m also available for overnight stays, giving your home a lived-in presence and giving your dog the peace of mind of having a trusted friend nearby through the night. I bring a blend of positive energy, reliable communication, and genuine affection to every visit—because your pet deserves nothing less than complete comfort and joy while you’re away! Because I work part-time, pet care isn’t something I just squeeze into the margins of my day—it’s a intentional, central part of my everyday life. My daily and weekly schedule is wonderfully open and fluid, which gives me the gift of time. I’m able to dedicate slow, unhurried visits to your pets, whether that means taking a mid-day sunshine walk, offering mid-afternoon playtime and cuddles, or staying overnight so your home stays warm and lived-in while you're away. When you welcome me into your home and entrust me with your beloved pets, I treat both with the utmost care, respect, and mindfulness. Having fostered rescue dogs, I know that every animal thrives on feeling safe, understood, and relaxed in their natural element.
“I was super stressed about finding a sitter for my 11 week old pup last minute for an all day training at work, and even more nervous about having a stranger visit my place! But Alejandra had fantastic reviews and even initiated meet & greet, which I really appreciated. And when she came to meet me and MoMo - boy, did my puppy LOVE her immediately, which made ME love her too!! :) Finally, on the day of the appointment, Alejandra showed up on time, followed all my requests, and took such good care of my puppy for an hour. TYSM Alejandra, I will book with you again next time MoMo needs a sitter!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Viola took great care of our sweet boy while we were away for a week. She sent thoughtful notes and lots of pictures daily. She even took in our mail! Lazlo was relaxed and happy when we got home, a sure sign he'd gotten lots of love and playtime while we were gone. We'll definitely call Viola when we go out of town again!”

About: I have cared for multi-pet households. I have experience feeding, brushing, changing litter, and administering medication. I love animals of all sorts. I am also good with them. I am good at reading their body language, and a lot of them gravitate towards me for whatever reason. They tend to be comfortable with my presence. I am between jobs at the moment, so that means I am somewhat more flexible to work around your schedule. I am a little bit busy with stuff in my personal life, and obviously I have boundaries about when I can and can't be at your home and how much work I want to take on, but the lack of structure in my life right now means we have more options for how I can show up for your pets. I am not in school either at the moment. I am not planning to have this be my only source of income, but for now I am flexible. I can't have pets come to my apartment; it is too small and I don't live on the bottom floor so it would be too much of a hassle to take them outside. I can only come to your home. I am very respectful of boundaries and property when I enter someone else's home. I will pay close attention to your instructions about how to care for your pets and any important other details I need to know. I am responsible and detail oriented, so you can trust me in your home and with your animals. I care that my clients feel secure with me being there while they are away.
“Akiko was extremely responsive and went above and beyond. Our cat clearly loved her too! Akiko exhibited outstanding professionalism and genuine care for our pet. Can’t thank her enough.”

About: I truly care for every dog like it’s mine ! I will treat it with the love and respect it needs. I have always had a dog in my life since I was born! They’re just the best thing ever. I feel like I am really good with dogs and that I can communicate with them. I pretty much have a clear schedule day to day so I would always be willing and available to walk your dog ! I’m very calm and have a great demeanor and I feel like dogs feed off my energy. If any of my dreams could come true I would want it to be the one where I open my own doggy day care. I love all sizes and shapes

Jana was excellent. When she came for instructions before we left town, my typically shy cat was immediately comfortable. Poppy came out to see Jana every day and she got lots of head scratches. My cat loved her. And she sent pictures of her visits every day. Jana is the best, will definitely be hiring her again.

Chloe was incredible! From the moment we met Chloe in the meet and greet we could tell she had the right energy to take good care of our beloved cat. We had to find a sitter last minute to travel for a family emergency and Chloe stepped in and was so communicative, sweet with our sometimes nervous cat, and was so respectful of our home; it put us at peace for the entire trip away.

This is my second time having Fernando drop in on my cat while I'm away. Like always, Fernando was super reliable, punctual, and followed all instructions. He was patient with my shy kitty, who eventually came out of her shell to hang out. Thank you for taking such good care of her!

My boyfriend and I absolutely love and trust Maggie to care for our kitty while we’re away! She’s always makes sure to leave updates and pictures after every drop in visit. Our kitty Sol loves her so much. Definitely recommend to trust her with your furry friend, they’ll be in safe hands!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
