Because I only do drop-ins/walks, I ensure that I treat your home with respect and privacy. Since I am comfortable with messes, spills, and pet accidents, I also make sure that I leave your home as spotless as you left it. With your pets, I ensure their safety by keeping an eye for detail, not only engaging with your dogs or cat, but also noting if there are any behavioral changes.

A typical day
With cats, I always engage with a soft approach to my watch. I understand that cats can often times be weary of strangers and new scents we bring, so I make sure they feel comfortable around me whether that includes allowing them to have higher ground over me, keeping a safe distance so they can sense safety, and physically petting only if they allow me. I am also a big fan of wand toy enrichment and love to play with them! With your dogs, I always make sure their walks are invigorating as possible so that they go back home having had fun and achieving both physical and mental stimulation whether this means only walks or walks and play time.

I consider myself lucky to have had both cats and dogs. I've learned to care, communicate, and treat all pets with the love and attention they deserve. I am experienced in sitting/walking dogs of any age and the territory that it comes with, whether it's aiding in continuing your training tactics, caring for older and/or end-of-life seniors, or providing a mental and physical enrichment walk for your pup. Having adopted cats with disabilities and taken care of cats in various stages of life, I have developed and continuously strive to stay on top of my care experience. My experiences have taught me that each cat is unique, with unique needs and behaviors that require catered attention and care. Whether you have a kitten, kittens, a senior cat, or a sick cat, you can feel comfortable knowing that I am prepared, experienced, and happy to look after them :)

Excellent last minute care!
This is my second time having Fernando drop in on my cat while I'm away. Like always, Fernando was super reliable, punctual, and followed all instructions. He was patient with my shy kitty, who eventually came out of her shell to hang out. Thank you for taking such good care of her!
