Availability
I am available to check on your cats once or twice a day, before and after work. We can discuss times more when you reach out to me to book. I am fully available after 7 pm, and can also do quick, short drop ins in the morning before work.

Each visit includes ensuring your cat has access to clean water and a clean litter box. I will feed your cat during my visit, and give them treats if they are available. Depending on your cats comfort levels with me, I will spend time petting and/or grooming your cat, as well as giving them some play time and enrichment so that they don't get bored. If your cat is too scared for that, I will instead sit nearby and gently talk to your cat without invading their space. I may offer a churu treat to your shy kitty. I will let your cat decide if they are comfortable enough to come out and say hello. I will take pictures of your cat to the best of my ability, but if they are hiding, this may be more difficult. I will take time to sweep or vacuum around the litter box area depending on your preferences, and for longer visits, I am happy to pick up your mail or take in packages. Your home will be just as clean as you left it!

A typical day
I love to keep your cats mind engaged while you are gone! Depending on your cats comfort levels, I will play with them with any toys that are provided, or give them catnip. I also enjoy giving cats treat puzzles to keep their minds engaged. A simple one I can make for any cat only requires an empty paper towel or toilet paper roll and treats! I will also brush your cat with any grooming tools that are provided.

Pet care experience
I have professional Animal Care experience under my belt, including grooming, cat rescue work, and a doggy daycare. This experience adds up to ~5 years of direct animal experience. As well, I was a catsitter for 2 years in Bellingham, WA, serving many customers and taking care of their cats. I am a current Veterinary Assistant in Noe Valley. I am comfortable handling a wide variety of cats, including fearful or "spicy" kitties. I use a patient approach when greeting any cat, giving them the time and space to choose whether they want to approach me. This was a last minute request and my first time using rover and it went beautifully. Zoe did a fantastic job with everything. One of my cats is usually shy with strangers and he warmed up to her so fast. Zoe did a fantastic job, great updates, the cats liked her. I can’t think of anything that would make it better.
