About: For the past five years, I've been immersed in the world of cat care, gaining valuable experience in nurturing and tending to our feline friends. From fostering tiny kittens to providing specialized care for senior cats, my journey has been one of growth and understanding. Through hands-on experience, I've developed a keen insight into feline behavior, dietary requirements, and health considerations, all with the aim of ensuring every cat receives the care and attention they deserve. I currently work hybrid and spend majority of my time home caring for my own pet dog named Blue. The furry friends are never alone for longer than 4 hours. I provide top-notch care for any by offering a balanced diet, regular grooming, and enriching playtime. With love and attention, I ensure a safe and comfortable environment for any pets well-being.

About: During high school and college I worked both at a pet store (2years), a kennel (1year) and a vet clinic (4 years). During that time I would house sit, and do drop ins. I learned a lot about dog breeds, dog behavior, and general animal care. I can also care for birds, small mammals, reptiles and fish. I have personally owned at least 1 dog and 1 cat my whole life. Currently I own 1 of each. In my free time I love to go to Point Isabelle with my dog Pono, a French Bulldog. You can catch me out there at least 5 times a week walking my dog and loving on other dogs. I live in El Cerrito and work in Berkeley, so I spend about equal time in both areas. I currently WFH 3x week, so I can work animal care into my schedule. When I do go into work it is generally at my discretion so I am flexible. Loving care, based on your specifications. I do have a respectful 10 year old that I will likely bring with me. I would like to impart a sense of responsibility and work ethic.

About: I’ve cared for pets since I can remember! Dogs and cats have always been a part of the family. I’ve also fostered dogs and cats and have successfully helped them socialize. I’ve also trained puppies and kittens to go potty. And I’ve trained dogs in the basics: sit, stay, paw, lay. Because I work from home most of the time my schedule is extremely flexible. On days where I need to be on site I can still come in at noon for walks and feeding. When I’m with your pet I will ensure that they are comforted, entertained, and happy while you are away. I will send regular communications, photos, and videos so that you are at ease as well.

“Tara was a great Rover cat sitter. Our request was last minute for 1.5 weeks. She was responsive and easy to communicate and plan with. We had originally arranged for both house and cat sitting but after a few days she wasn't able to continue with the house sitting but she made sure to quickly figure out a solution and accommodate accordingly and offered to find another Rover house/cat sitter or she could instead make visits to care for the trips and we chose the latter and so then she made 3 trips to the house per day to feed our kittens and play with them. She gave us frequent updates and pictures and asked questions when wasn't sure how to proceed with anything. We would definitely use her for cat sitting again.”
