“Maria came through for us and took care of Raylan when we needed. She even adjusted her schedule to fit some changes we needed and was easy to communicate with. We loved all the pictures and reports she provided. We will definitely book her again.”

“Laurena interacted with 3 of my 4 cats on her first visit to feed them—you have no idea how rare it is for someone to even *see* more than 2 on their first visit without me! She was very communicative and did a great job. We will definitely want Laurena to come back the next time our long-term sitter isn’t available.”

“This is my second time having Amber care for my kitties while away and once again she took such great care of my fur babies! I will definitely be using her again. Thank you Amber!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child, and caring for animals has always been part of my life. I truly love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I’m responsible, patient, and dependable, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I enjoy walking, playing, and giving pets the attention they need while carefully following your instructions. I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages during every visit. I'm currently very flexible and available throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Since I have a flexible schedule, I can accommodate regular walks, last-minute bookings when possible, and recurring visits. I enjoy spending time with dogs and always make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I treat every pet as if they were my own, following each owner's instructions carefully regarding feeding, medication, routines, and exercise. During walks, I always prioritize safety by keeping dogs securely leashed, avoiding unsafe situations, and paying close attention to their behavior. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy while giving owners peace of mind.
“Keiki is an excellent pet sitter and a wonderful person, I'm so happy I found her! She is very professional and kind, I could tell she really cared about our cats and was very detailed in asking questions about their needs. And she sent really cute photos of them :) I trust her 100%, thank you Keiki!”

“Wonderful to work with! Professional, responsive, and thorough. She was able to accommodate a last minute request from first time bookers (wife and myself) and helped us navigate the process. We had some complicated instructions for keys, and our cats and such and Phuong was patient and helpful throughout. We would absolutely work with her again!”

“One word: AWESOME! Vivian was an amazing caretaker not only for our cat Luna, but for our backyard chickens too! Each visit we received a bunch of photos of both Luna and our chickens and Vi also came over before our scheduled visit to go over all our instructions. Would DEFINITELY book again!”

“Sandrine was an exceptional caretaker for our older cat, Henry. She accepted our request on very short notice, was so nice, and did an amazing job following through on everything. She sent great updates and pictures each day, and it was comforting knowing our cat was in such good hands. She's exactly what you'd want in someone caring for your pet. We'll absolutely be hoping to have her watch our cat the next time we're out of town!”

About: Hi, I’m Aurelia! I’m dedicated to sharing in the joy, fun, cuddles, walking, and love of all the dogs and cats I can find (and who find me)! Growing up with dogs and cats at home, I have always loved being around animals. My two dogs have been a German Shepherd mix (Bela) and a miniature poodle (Linzee) so I have lived with and know how to care for large and small dogs! I grew up with two cats, Slate and Pippin. I currently have my own kitty, Thomas. I love dog walking, and I always make sure there is lots of play. Your dog and/or cat will be lovingly cared for and have a super fun time! I look forward to meeting you and your pet :) 🐶 🐈 🩷 *NOTE: I am only available to do overnight stays for no more than one week at a time. Thank you! I’m currently between jobs (most recently worked for Kaiser Permanente) so I have lots of time to dedicate to your dog or cat, and house-sit if needed! I take house and pet instructions to heart, and make sure I have everything I need to be able to give the best care possible.

“Ana is a great cat sitter! She was very timely in communicating with me and responsible. My cat warmed up to her right away during the meet and greet, so I felt reassured and comfortable when I was away for most of the day and Ana dropped in for an hour. I’ll definitely be rebooking her for future cat sitting needs!”

“Our cat is very shy and cat sitters barely see him when doing check-ins. Somehow Rebecca gained his trust on the second day and he was comfortable being approached and pet. It made us feel better being away knowing that our cat wasn’t hiding the whole time we were gone. I’d definitely reach out to Rebecca again in the future.”

About: Growing up I had many pets from dogs and cats to hamsters and fish. I’ve spent almost all years of my life caring for animals! Aside from owning my own animals and training them, I have gotten experience feeding, training, walking, playing, and caring after animals while working at a Humane Society! I currently am a student, as well as having a part time job. I spend my free time outside in nature; on hikes, going to the creek, or chilling at a park with a good book, all these things I would love to bring your pet along! I love animals so much and am so excited to get to spend time with some of yours! When I care for animals I make sure to pay attention to the environment we’re in and make sure they aren’t showing any signs of being anxious or scared. I think it’s really important to create a welcoming, warm, and safe environment for all animals, that feels good to them as well as myself! I always have toys around and make sure that your pets are stimulated and get lots of love!

“I was very apprehensive about leaving my senior and very suspicious German Shepherd alone for the first time in her life. Kristi was able to gain enough trust that Sage was willing to walk with her, eat normally and play in the yard to some extent. I really appreciated the pictures and descriptions she sent after each visit. She seems to have a way with even difficult dogs. Would definitely use her again!”

“Thanks for the drop-in dog care during our long weekend away. Tania had very good communication, sent photos and all went very well. Lucy was a happy dog when we got back!”

My second time booking John for drop in visits with my 2 cats. Really appreciate his great communication and thoroughness. He showed a lot of care and patience with my cats, even though they're extremely skittish and spent most of the time hiding. Definitely recommend John for any of your pet care needs!

Alix was a great sitter for our two cats! I could tell when I got home they were happy, not out of their element, and had been given lots of love while we were gone! Alix also had great communication and kept us updated the whole time we were gone! Thank you!😸

We’ve trusted Tallulah to care for our cat for the past two years, and she has been great. She is reliable, kind, and truly cares about our cat’s well-being. She is able to give our cat his medication giving us complete peace of mind whenever we’re away. She keeps us updated, is easy to communicate with, and always goes above and beyond to make sure our cat is comfortable and happy. After two years of consistently excellent care, we can confidently say she’s someone we trust completely. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and experienced pet sitter, and we’ll absolutely continue booking with her.

Huckleberry did a great job looking after my baby, following instructions well, being respectful of my place, and best of all being a good friend to my cat when she was lonely. The quick responsiveness was so awesome, especially when I unexpectedly needed the autofeeder refilled mid-trip. Highly recommended!

Rae was terrific and treated our cats like her own. Our two kitties have sensitive stomachs and require very particular feedings, but Rae took it all in stride. She was friendly, approachable, arrived promptly, went above and beyond that ensure the kitties were well fed and well taken care of. It was great knowing they were in good hands while we were away. Thanks!
Laurena has watched our pets a couple of times now and we're so happy to have found her. We didn't have to worry a bit about our kitties while we were away. We received updates and photos regularly and the house was in great condition when we got back. Thanks again Laurena!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
