About: I’m a WFH dog mom in Berkeley with decades of experience caring for small and senior pups. I specialize in 0–40 lb dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra patience or medication support. PS If your dog enjoys (or needs lots of) exercise, I’m happy to provide long walks or gentle runs. I'm currently working from home so have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I am available during the day on weekdays and can coordinate nights and weekends. I live in a single‑family home in San Jose with a fully fenced, pup‑proofed yard. Your dog can relax on the couch, nap in the sun, or hang out with my friendly 14‑year‑old poodle‑terrier mix. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and can go out for potty breaks every 0–2 hours. Wenxin and her family took fantastic care of our dog Cricket. Updates and pictures and lots of details about how she adjusted were so appreciated. You could tell they were really caring and attentive. It was Cricket’s first time being cared for by people she didn’t know super well, and she’s pretty nervous by nature. But after a couple days she was happy and playing and snuggling. When we drove away to go back home, she was plastered to the window watching Wenxin go inside - Cricket had gotten attached! We will definitely book with Wenxin again.

Knowing Ava can be cautious and selective in befriending other dogs, Julieth made sure Ava and another dog who was staying with her arranged a meet-and-greet beforehand and monitored their interactions during their stay. Thanks Julieth for helping Ava out with her first stay with you - including taking her to Point Isabel where she loves and getting peanut butter (which I forgot to bring) to hide her meds!
We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care.
