“Mariola took wonderful care of our dog while we were out of town on vacation. Her home setting for a few small dogs worked out well for our small, sweet, and shy cavapoo. We appreciated the periodic updates she provided about our dog during our trip as well.”

“Banksy had an amazing time at Luna's and loved playing with Jim. I felt extremely comfortable leaving Banksy with Luna, based on the questions she asked about Banksy, her attention to detail about his needs and safety, and just her kind warm personality! I loved the pictures each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Luna and will definitely be having her watch Banksy again!”

“It was our first time trying Rover and Keara was AMAZING. She is kind, warm, and communicative - all the things you’d want when you are trusting your furry pet with someone. She was highly responsive and sent plenty of videos and pictures of my dog each day, throughout the day. She cuddled him, played with him, took him out with her in the backpack I provided for dinner with her and just kept him great company. I couldn’t have had a better experience and would highly recommend the wonderful Keara!”

“Danielle is great! I was late for pickup and felt terrible, but she was very sweet and accommodating. Also very communicative with tons of pictures as usual! Our two dogs seemed very happy”

“My dog Archie had a blast with Catherine and Kizmet! Catherine was communicative, sent lots of photos and videos, and took such great care of Archie. I know he is looking forward to his next stay with them.”

“Christine was incredibly easy to communicate with, professional, and showed wonderful care for my dog Manchi! She navigated her anxiety and quirks so well, took her on a bunch of walks, and even gave me a polaroid of her holding a show, her favorite thing to do 😊”

“Kelly is attentive and took fantastic care for our dog - Aioli. Aioli quickly warmed up to Kelly and Bruiser - he received lots of attention and playtime. On top of that, she walked our dog and gave consistent updates throughout the duration of his boarding stay with her. We would definitely book with Kelly again!”

About: I’m a WFH dog mom in Berkeley with decades of experience caring for small and senior pups. I specialize in 0–40 lb dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra patience or medication support. I’ve cared for dogs since I was 8, starting with neighborhood pups and eventually my own dog, Silky, who was with me for 17 years. Since then I’ve had two more dogs and regularly care for friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, giving oral medications, and reinforcing training you’re already working on. My goal is for your dog to feel like part of the family while you’re away. PS If your dog enjoys (or needs lots of) exercise, I’m happy to provide long walks or gentle runs. I'm currently working from home so have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I am available during the day on weekdays and can coordinate nights and weekends. I live in a single‑family home in San Jose with a fully fenced, pup‑proofed yard. Your dog can relax on the couch, nap in the sun, or hang out with my friendly 14‑year‑old poodle‑terrier mix. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and can go out for potty breaks every 0–2 hours. I keep a close eye on introductions and always do slow, supervised meet‑and‑greets so everyone feels safe.
“Ashish took excellent care of my 6-year-old dog. He sent many photos and communicated with me about my dog’s initial separation anxiety, finding ways to engage with her and make her feel at home in a new setting. I appreciate the care, exercise, and attention he provided her that put my mind at ease. Great to have discovered a trustworthy local sitter!”

“Julie and Adam are perfect sitters! They were thoughtful, reliable, and great with my dog. He seemed very happy and comfortable with them. I’d definitely book with them again!”

“Hope was recommended to us by another great Rover sitter, and we are really grateful. Hope is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. She made Coconut comfortable immediately. Her little dog Rocky is adorable and super friendly. Coconut loved going for walks and playing with Rocky's toys. Hope was great with sending text updates as well as photos and videos. Here's hoping Hope doesn't get too busy to have room for Coconut the next time we need her!”

“Our pups were in great hands with Lucas. The dogs (a senior dog and a puppy) had plenty of time to play and relax at their pace. Lucas was very quick to respond to any questions and shared tons of photos with us. Thanks again!”

“Kelly was the best sitter that I could ask for! She went above and beyond taking care of Tori and communicating with us how Tori is doing during our whole trip. I was so relieved during the trip and did not worry at all during the travel. Kelly probably took better care of Tori than myself haha. Thank you again Kelly for all the help taking care of our doggy and Tori will be looking forward for another pawsome vacation next time when we are out of town!”

“Anna was as happy and healthy as the day I dropped her off! You guys did a great job with her… I now know at the next time I travel I have the confidence of leaving here in good hands. I bet she misses you guys. We should make a play date scheduled so she can see her new friends! Thank you again”

“Ross and family took amazing care of Clover and Willow! They seems extremely relaxed and to get along well with Millie. I didn’t worry about them during our trip. Super thankful and would love to have the girls stay again!”

“This was such a great boarding experience! My pup is elderly and requires some patience and attention, and they were so kind and thoughtful with her. She got a bit sick on the first day and they let me know right away and were happy to make changes to her routine to work with it. I got consistent updates with pictures and felt totally certain that my dog was well cared for the entire time. Definitely one of the best dogsitters I've used through this site.”

Another wonderful stay with Radha and family where our Abby runs to board and have fun. It’s very comforting that she’s so at home with no anxiety and loves to visit. We get daily updates and photos from morning to evening of tail wags and rolling and playing like she’s at home and happy. Excellent care and instructions followed when she’s had diet changes, and Abby actually runs to greet Radha like when she’s excited for family to get home.

Christine was incredibly easy to communicate with, professional, and showed wonderful care for my dog Manchi! She navigated her anxiety and quirks so well, took her on a bunch of walks, and even gave me a polaroid of her holding a show, her favorite thing to do 😊

Yesica - did an amazing job with our dogs. She followed our instructions to a letter and provide provided us consistent updates throughout the day and even pictures of them. This helped us feel a lot more comfortable. We would highly recommend her and will book with her again.

Wenxin and her family took fantastic care of our dog Cricket. Updates and pictures and lots of details about how she adjusted were so appreciated. You could tell they were really caring and attentive. It was Cricket’s first time being cared for by people she didn’t know super well, and she’s pretty nervous by nature. But after a couple days she was happy and playing and snuggling. When we drove away to go back home, she was plastered to the window watching Wenxin go inside - Cricket had gotten attached! We will definitely book with Wenxin again.

Lydia and her husband, Marty, took great care of Ellie and provided us peace of mind while we were away. We appreciated their thoughtful questions ahead of time and their attention to detail in our provided care instructions. They showered our puppy girl with affection, fun outdoor adventures, and lots of playtime. We could tell Ellie was having a blast literally right up to the moment we picked her up. We will definitely rebook!

Banksy had an amazing time at Luna's and loved playing with Jim. I felt extremely comfortable leaving Banksy with Luna, based on the questions she asked about Banksy, her attention to detail about his needs and safety, and just her kind warm personality! I loved the pictures each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Luna and will definitely be having her watch Banksy again!

Knowing Ava can be cautious and selective in befriending other dogs, Julieth made sure Ava and another dog who was staying with her arranged a meet-and-greet beforehand and monitored their interactions during their stay. Thanks Julieth for helping Ava out with her first stay with you - including taking her to Point Isabel where she loves and getting peanut butter (which I forgot to bring) to hide her meds!

We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!

Tosca and Marco are the best! Our energetic and playful 2-year old cavapoo sprints into their house whenever we drop her off for daycare or boarding. She recently stayed with them for just over a week while we were out of town, and it was so clear that they treated her with as much love and attention as their own dogs. We’re so grateful for them!
