Hi there! My name is Monica and have grown up with dogs my whole life. Dogs have always been members of our family. I have raised and trained 6 dogs from when they were puppies! They all lived happy lives, well into their senior years. I have many years of extensive experience with all different temperaments and breeds of dogs. I have lived in rural and urban environments. "I have doctored my animals with vet guidance and care." Administering medications, injections and basic first aid when needed with farm animals, cats and dogs.

Monica is FABULOUS!! My big puppy Teddy had a wonderful time with Monica and LuLu her dog. She is very devoted and caring to the dogs that she boards and makes sure they are welcome and comfortable while in her home. I would highly recommend her!
Leaving Nugget with Monica gave me immense peace of mind. From the moment we met for the meet and greet, she was communicative, welcoming, and most importantly, very tuned-in to what Nugget’s needs could be during his stay. Her home was a lovely place for Nugget to stay, and her dog and cat are wonderful companions and very well behaved. The walks in Tilden Park were an added privilege. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule to be with your pup for most or all day. I walk our dog Lulu first thing every morning and an evening walk and work in between.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority! I will host up to, two dogs per household for boarding. I live in a spacious home in the Berkeley hills, with Tilden Park behind us. There is a fully fenced yard, and spend a good amount of time outside on the trails. I want to assure you that your pup is in good hands. I totally know what it's like to leave your pup while traveling on vacation or a business trip. Having that peace of mind means the world!
Pets
A typical day
Daily we're always up for a good trail walk or playing fetch with a favorite ball or frisbee. Depending on your pups needs and energy levels, I will custom the experience. Rain or shine, we always get exercise and have fun. Also my family member is a sweet border collie, Lulu, who loves the company of other dogs. There are lot's of room for cozy cuddles and a comfortable naps after playtime! Play-nap-repeat!!

- I am happy to arrange a meet and greet that is required with all new clients. Please let me know of any behaviors, restrictions, medications or dietary considerations ahead of scheduled visit. I follow your instructions. I also request the importance, that all pups are up to date on vaccinations and additionally flea and tick treatments. This is to ensure that all of our pup friend's are healthy and secure in a healthy environment while staying in our home.
