Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. “Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”

“This was our first time using Rover. Luciana and Rob were great. We were super impressed from the initial meet and greet - they asked all the right questions and spent ample time with us to ensure that our dog and they would be comfy together. They cared for our dog during 4th of July which we were a little nervous about given how loud it can get - but we felt very comfortable about it after the meet and greet. They had a plan and were totally up for staying up all night if need be to help her through the noise. They were also great communicators and shared photos on the walks and adventures they took with our dog. Dogs faces don’t lie - and hers was all smiles so this put us very much at ease to enjoy our vacation without worrying about a thing. A+ experience!!”

“Leila and her son Christiano are truly wonderful! We boarded our dog Rosie with them for three days and I think Rosie would have wanted to stay for another three days! Our dog Rosie is a sweet girl, but is nervous around new people and experiences. Leila and Christiano took the time and care to make her feel comfortable from the moment we did a meet and greet. It is obvious that they know how to work with dogs of all dispositions. Christiano asked if I would like Rosie to get to interact with other dogs and that he could bring his extremely well behaved husky to play if I would like. If you need another example of how well they take care of and train dogs, his husky (a notoriously stubborn breed) is an amazing therapy dog. I thought this was a good opportunity for Rosie to gain some confidence and have a fun play date. Rosie was able to hang out with such a calm and patient pup while being supported by Leila and Christiano. I was receiving video updates and pictures from the moment they started watching her (no seriously I received 4 videos while driving home from dropping her off). It was clear that Rosie was having a great time. They also (with my permission) made her home cooked food to supplement her kibble. They took Rosie on multiple walks a day and on the last day Rosie ended up staying with them a few hours later then we originally planned as Christiano asked if Rosie would like to go on a (up to 20 mile) run. I am certain Rosie got tired before Christiano did! I didn’t intend to write such a long review but I can not stress enough how great Leila and Christiano were with our pup. If you are worried, don’t be. If you have a pup that needs extra care and attention, they will provide it. They truly love dogs and know how to work with them. I am so happy I found them and would gladly book with them again!”
