I’m excited to meet your pets! I offer doggie daycare and boarding every day of the week. I’m also available for dog walks and drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I will take up to three dogs in my house at a time for daycare or boarding providing all dogs are friendly. I'm generally out of the house on weekdays no longer than 3 to 4 hours and generally home on the weekends. Unfortunately, my sweet senior dog Rootie recently passed away so I do not have a companion dog in my home at this time.

Your pet's safety is my top priority! Your dog is safe in my home and yard which stay secure with closed doors, tall fences and locked gates. The large yard has lots of space for play, running with balls and toys, dog beds for lounging in the sun and plenty of fresh water available. I have several cameras in my home that allow me to view visiting dogs while I’m out or in another room. During walks I understand the importance of making sure leashes and harnesses are secure, ensuring that interaction with other dogs and people is appropriate, or ensuring that doors and enclosures are properly locked when exiting your home. I am responsible, follow instructions, and pay attention to the details.

Are they independent or want more attention, scratches, and pets? Do they have any behavioral issues? Please understand that I will not take dogs that act out with aggressive behavior in any way towards other dogs or people.
A typical day
During walking appointments, I provide a fun and rewarding walk for your dog full of satisfying sniffs, mental stimulation, and proper exercise. During home visits for dogs and cats, I can feed, refresh water, provide love and affection, play with toys, and engage in outdoor exercise with balls if the space permits. I am happy to assist by taking in mail and packages also. Your dog will have a great time full of play, a long walk, loving care, and the comfort and safety to take a good rest during daycare visits or boarding in my home.

I have extensive experience with dogs as I grew up with four dogs and, since then, have had many happy pets both dogs and cats who have lived long lives. I've been a passionate animal lover my entire life, and I have experience raising and caring for puppies and dogs, kittens and cats, senior dogs, feeding, administering medication, any length of walking, and light training. We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!
Kate is absolutely the BEST! We have a very grumpy cat who usually won’t let anyone pet her and she loves Kate! Also our cat needs medicine and I totally trust Kate to dose correctly. She also sends great detailed updates.
