I am a full-time experienced pet sitter. I am the primary caretaker who will watch over your pet but if I ever need assistance, my partner (who is also an experienced petsitter on Rover) and my assistant are here to help. I have personally cared for 100+ pets and worked with a variety of breeds, age, and different temperaments. A bit of my background: Before I started petsitting, I was a veterinary technician and my goal was to be a veterinarian. However my experience witnessing surgery and often seeing pets at their worst made me decide the field was not for me. I am so happy I discovered pet sitting as an alternative where I can provide attention and care for animals without the surgical aspect! Seeing them happy makes me happy and feels so rewarding. I appreciate my experience working as a vet tech because it helped me gain more experience caring for animals and administering medications when needed. I have also previously raised charity and volunteered at my local animal shelter to help foster stray animals but am no longer active due to my busy petsitting schedule. Charlene was awesome! She was super friendly and flexible. She was very responsive and gives plenty of updates. Our dogs had a great time playing with the pack. Charlene’s place offers a safe environment for the dogs and provides a good balance of playtime and nap time. She is attentive to any instruction given prior as well. Would highly recommend and will be returning. I believe my dogs did not want to come back home with me after staying there!!

First time using a dog sitter and I was honestly nervous leaving my anxious senior dog, but she completely put me at ease. She was professional, communicative, and clearly very experienced with nervous dogs. My dog seemed genuinely happy and comfortable when I picked her up, which says everything. I really appreciated the updates and care she gave throughout the stay. Would absolutely book with her again.

Schedule
What to expect during your pet’s stay here: DOGS: LARGE FENCED BACKYARD: - I have a large double-fenced backyard for your dog to play, exercise, sunbathe, and relax. There is also a shaded area to cool off and air-conditioning inside the house! SAFETY & SUPERVISION: - I do not accept aggressive or sick dogs for the safety of our pups. - All pups must be fully vaccinated and on flea preventative prior to their stay. - I have doggy cameras to check on the pups whenever needed. - Dog-proofed rooms and doggy gates provided however needed.

A typical day
Pups will be let out in the backyard to potty and play in the morning, afternoon, and evening with breaks in between. Walks outside the yard are not part of daily routine. There are plenty of dog beds for your pet to choose from unless they prefer a crate.
