SMALL DOGS~Home full time
Taking care of small dogs brings me so much joy, and I can't imagine a life without face licks and tail wags! I love learning what makes them happy, relaxed and at ease. Tending to their needs and letting you know they are well taken care of is important to me. You'll get lots of cute pictures and return to a loved up pup. BOARDING and DAYCARE I do not work another job so I'm able to focus on your dog's needs and your pup will get lots of special attention. Safety and comfort are a priority, and belly rubs are always available. I will treat your pup as if they were my own, and do my best to make them feel right at home. Small breeds under 25lbs and over 1 year old are the best fit. (minimal shedding is preferred.) I have an older 15 lb poodle mix rescue who is very gentle, calm, and easy to get along with. Dogs with really high energy may not be the best fit. I will care for one or two dogs at a time, sometimes I take three if it's a good fit for all. My home is peaceful and playful with lots of dog beds, fuzzy blankets, and a basket of dog toys. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and can sleep on the bed, or in a crate, however you prefer. I occasionally have errands to run outside the house, so your dog would need to be ok left alone, or with other dogs, for short periods of time.

This is my second time with Luna, and once again, she was absolutely wonderful! She cared for my senior dog, Shanti, with so much love and attention, keeping me updated on even the smallest changes. Every day she sent me photos where Shanti looked completely relaxed and happy in her home, which gave me such peace of mind. Her sweet dog, Pepito, was also the perfect companion for Shanti, and seeing them get along so well was an extra bonus that made the stay even more special.
Did a great job. Buster trusts Luna completely. That is why he can relax and nap.
Luna always takes such wonderful care of little-old-man Bowie. She’s so patient with him! She sends lots of photo updates so we can see how calm and happy he is at her house. Thank you Luna and Pepito!
Luna took such good care of Banksy while we were gone for a long weekend! He looked happy and relaxed in every picture she sent and she was very patient and good humored about his rascally antics. He loves her amazing yard, as well as all the cozy places to hang out in her house.
So incredibly happy to have found Luna. Maddie and Millie can be a handful and have special considerations like deafness, a significant age gap (i.e. massive energy differential), and being world-class picky eaters. Luna was so accommodating, friendly, helpful, clear, and caring for our situation. We received beautiful pictures and consistent updates during their stay, which we absolutely cherished. Very thankful. We were stressed and Luna put us at ease. Thank you.
Luna is one of the best sitters Shanti has ever been left with. I was a bit nervous about leaving her behind as this was my first time since she started her medication. But I could tell at the meet and greet that Luna is a reliable and detail-oriented sitter, which is crucial to my senior dog who needs to take meds and go out for frequent potty breaks. I also liked her senior dog friendly house with no stairs and easy access to a gorgeous backyard. I knew Shanti would be in good hands while I was away, but Luna went above and beyond the call of duty; carried my dog out under the umbrella a few times on a cold rainy day while she was reluctant to go out to pee. And she sent daily updates (e.g., Shanti ate all her food this morning, slept almost all day today, etc) along with lots of fun and happy photos, from snuggling under the blanket, walking in the park, sunbathing in the backyard, to playing/chilling with her lovely dog, Pepito. He’s such a sweet and mellow boy Shanti got along with. She looked so content and relaxed in every single photo, which was a huge relief to me. I highly recommend Luna and would ask her to look after Shanti again in a heartbeat!

Schedule
I have a large fenced yard where your dog can play, hang out, sniff around, and sunbathe on the lounge chairs. There is also a large park a couple doors down. When it's raining, I play with them inside for some exercise.

Safety, trust & environment
DROP INS and WALKS I'm happy to drop in on your dog or cat for a visit or a walk your dog around the neighborhood. I am punctual, responsible and detail oriented. I can also bring in the mail or other small things that may need attention. Day care rate covers approximately 8 hours. Regular Drop off hours are 8-10am and pick up 4-6pm. Extended hours have a surcharge. I can sometimes accommodate evening hours once we know each other.
