“You took great care of Maia and she seemed happy and settled in easily. We appreciate you being very welcoming and we knew she would get along with other dogs and be well cared for. We'll definitely be back in touch when we travel again!”

“Overall a great experience- we met at a local park to make sure the dogs got along and everything seemed great, so we went forward. Our dog Sammy had a four day stay and seemed to enjoy every bit of it with all the pictures and feedback we received. Lucas was very professional and accommodating to our schedule changes (delayed flight). We will definitely be using them again. Thanks Lucas!”

“Jeanette and her husband provided top notch care for my 3 dogs! My trio can be tough to please. They are very spoiled and demand pampering almost 24/7! I have a 15 year old Chihuahua mix and he can be very cranky. He was accommodated and allowed to be himself! I appreciated being alerted that my dogs were protesting food and treats I provided. Janette was concerned that the dogs were not eating. I immediately ordered alternative food and treats and Janette was flexible and did whatever necessary to ensure that my dogs ate something. I especially appreciated Janette and her Husband for accommodating pickup time. My flight was delayed about 5 hours. I wasn't able to pickup my dogs until after midnight. Janette was very graceful and helped make a smooth transition for my pets being returned to my care. With Janette, I found reliable and trusted care for my pets. I will use her services again and will recommend others I know to give her pet boarding business a try.”

About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
“Hanna is amazing and would highly recommend! We received regular text updates and photos/videos from her. I can tell my puppy had a great time and Hanna genuinely loves dogs plus she is very trustworthy - will definitely use her boarding services again!”

“We, especially Ellie, loved Joann! It was our first time using Rover; Joann’s process from beginning to end was so seamless. We did a brief meet and greet at her home (that she was able to accommodate on short notice no less) where she and Ellie got a feel for each other. During the 5 night stay, Joann sent us photos and updates. Upon pick up, everything was ready to go and she shared some heartwarming bits of how the stay went. We so appreciate you, Joann! Thank you for making our first stay with Rover a positive one, and it won’t be our last with you! 🙂”

“Christine was incredibly easy to communicate with, professional, and showed wonderful care for my dog Manchi! She navigated her anxiety and quirks so well, took her on a bunch of walks, and even gave me a polaroid of her holding a show, her favorite thing to do 😊”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every animal. Friends and family have trusted me for years to care for their pets, and I treat each one as if they were my own. That experience strengthened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced my passion for providing safe, loving care. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, or a calm and attentive sitter, I'm committed to making them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I currently work from home and live by myself, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. My schedule allows me to accommodate your pet's routine, whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company. I'm happy to work with you to make sure your pet receives the care and attention they're used to while you're away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and at home. I live in a secure apartment and have access to a very walkable neighborhood, making it easy to provide regular potty breaks, walks, and exercise throughout the day. I always follow each pet's usual routine, including feeding schedules, playtime, and any special care instructions, so they feel as comfortable as possible. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and personalized care while you're away.

“Sara was great. We got updates and photos throughout our dog’s stay. Our dog came home happy and relaxed. I’d recommend Sara for anyone looking in the area.”

“Our 14 month old dog had never been boarded away from home. Mariola took great care of him at her home for a brief 24 hour stay in anticipation of a longer upcoming planned stay. The communication was excellent and our dog enjoyed spending time with Mariola and two other small dogs. We appreciated having our dog boarded nearby with Mariola in Berkeley.”

“Louis watched our dog for multiple days over Thanksgiving week, and was absolutely amazing. He gave super prompt communication and is very knowledgeable. We felt at ease during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Louis if you are in need of a great dog sitter!”

“Hope is great with nervous dogs and makes them feel comfortable and loved. We booked her last minute for a week long trip caused by a family emergency, and it was so nice to not have to worry about our pup. Hope is very communicative and sends lots of pics and videos. Great sitter!”

“This was Hunter’s second stay with Didem and her husband and it was, again, great! Drop off and pickup both went smoothly and Hunter was clearly very comfortable being back at Didem’s home. When we picked him up he actually had to be woken up, he had definitely found a second home! We will absolutely continue to entrust Hunter to Didem whenever we leave town.”
“He said he is not one, but Joshua is a dog whisperer! Daisy loved Joshua and she seems so comfortable with him. Immediately, she felt comfortable and safe when we dropped Daisy off. Joshua was professional and made sure there was a process to drop-off and pick-up. We received daily updates and photos. This was our first Rover experience and we cannot ask for anyone better! We will definitely consider Joshua for future boarding and sitting.”

“This is my fourth time booking with Irene. 10/10 every time. She’s prompt, responsive and compassionate. Irene keeps me in the loop at all times sending thorough photo and video recaps of the day. She’s been flexible and extremely understanding when it comes to delays/ changes in my business travel timelines.”

“Our dog loved his stay with Rob. We were sent lots of cute photos of our dog and his dog being best buds. We loved knowing that while we were on vacation, our dog was having the best time going to the dog park and lounging around. Will definitely book again with Rob next year when we take our next vacation ☺️”

“Justin and Patrick were the absolute best! Since this was my first time useing Rover, I was a little nervous before dropping off Smokey, who is blind, senile, and teeeny tiny (4 lbs.). However, the instant I met the two of them I was instantly relieved because I know they will take care of my lil guy. On top of that, their two dogs are seriously adorable and seemed to be very well trained. Thank you so much for sending me all the pics during Smokey's stay and taking great care of him. I will definitely call you guys again :)”

“Ruthy took the very best care of my baby boy. She made feel like he was apart of her fur family for the day. She is super flexible, warm, and welcoming. Highly recommend her services for any of the fur babies needs. :-)”

“We are thrilled to share our overwhelmingly positive experience with Jennifer, who has been a dedicated caregiver to Ruby since she was a 5/6 month old puppy (she's almost 2 now). Jennifer's commitment to providing the best care possible has only grown stronger over time, making her an invaluable part of Ruby's life. From the very start of our journey with Jennifer, her warmth and genuine care for animals were evident. As Ruby's first and ongoing Rover caregiver, Jennifer has played an instrumental role in shaping Ruby's well-being and happiness. Her communication remains not only prompt but also incredibly reassuring, a testament to the trust and bond she has built with both Ruby and us. Thank you, Jennifer, for being more than a caregiver.”

Kaja took in our 5 month old puppy last minute so our family could go out of town for a funeral. Once I chatted with her on the phone, I knew our puppy would be in good hands. It was a relief to have one less thing to worry about. Kaja was incredibly communicative and sent us photos and videos. Would absolutely rebook.

Ross, Melissa, and Millie were the best sitters we could ask for! We received constant photo updates and they loved on our pups as if they were their own! Our dogs were sad to leave and we could tell from all the photos, walks, and adventures that they had an absolute blast. Would absolutely rebook again when we are out of town and need a sitter!

“Brandon was great. He was willing and able to support our family with Maui, our sweet 3 year old American Bully who can look a bit scary and anxious in new environments. She responded so well to Brandon and he shared pictures and updates. I swear Maui had a smile on her face in one of the pictures! She eve. tried to stay when it was time for pick up! So thankful for Brandon!”

Juli went above and beyond taking care of our dog Sunshine. She is our first choice for a dog sitter whenever we travel. She is responsible, responsive to our dog's needs and great at problem solving. Sunshine gets to stay with a nice human and some well cared for canines in a beautiful home. When we go on vacation, Sunshine gets a real treat too!
