“Ross, Melissa, and Millie were the best sitters we could ask for! We received constant photo updates and they loved on our pups as if they were their own! Our dogs were sad to leave and we could tell from all the photos, walks, and adventures that they had an absolute blast. Would absolutely rebook again when we are out of town and need a sitter!”

“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. Indi came home happy, calm, and healthy — we couldn’t ask for more. 💛🐾”

“I can tell Sybil had a great time because when it was time to go she curled up in Maria's lap and didn't want to leave 😅. Maria clearly has a way with dogs and my pup had a great time playing with her son as well. Thanks Maria!”

“Louis watched our dog for multiple days over Thanksgiving week, and was absolutely amazing. He gave super prompt communication and is very knowledgeable. We felt at ease during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Louis if you are in need of a great dog sitter!”

“Hope is great with nervous dogs and makes them feel comfortable and loved. We booked her last minute for a week long trip caused by a family emergency, and it was so nice to not have to worry about our pup. Hope is very communicative and sends lots of pics and videos. Great sitter!”

“Such a great first dog sitting experience. Jonathan has such a calm and loving personality he was a perfect 4th of July dog sitter for my pup who can really struggle with fireworks. Very attentive sent photos daily of walks I will definitely reach out again and hope he is available”

“It was a roller-coaster at first, previous bookie canceled at the last moment so we had to scramble to find another sitter, flight was leaving in 2hrs. She accepted we have never been separated longer than a work day. Anna was/IS great!! She took great care of Aries sent plenty of pix and had us at ease!! Definitely will be booking her again”

“Christine was incredibly easy to communicate with, professional, and showed wonderful care for my dog Manchi! She navigated her anxiety and quirks so well, took her on a bunch of walks, and even gave me a polaroid of her holding a show, her favorite thing to do 😊”

“You took great care of Maia and she seemed happy and settled in easily. We appreciate you being very welcoming and we knew she would get along with other dogs and be well cared for. We'll definitely be back in touch when we travel again!”

“Luna was so fun to meet and such a great friend to our pup. Followed all of his feeding and medication instructions, no small feat for an older dog with arthritis. Very communicative leading up to and throughout our trip. Beautiful dog friendly home with a secure backyard, and her dog Pepito got along with ours famously! Highly recommend boarding with Luna and Pepito and excited to do it again soon.”
“Allora was great! I only have positive things to say, Coco seemed so happy staying with her and her family. Allora sent me frequent updates and pictures which was great! I will definitely be boarding Coco with her again.”

“Michael was flexible with drop off and pickup times and was very communicative throughout the process. He sent daily status updates and photos of our pup, so we could rest assured that she was being well-cared for. He took our pup on multiple walks per day along with his dog, and made sure she had plenty of outside time. He made us feel comfortable that our pup was in good hands.”

“Radha is always so great with our doggos. She is attentive and gives photo updates which always gives me peace of mind while I’m away. Happy to have her watch our dogs any time.”

“Luciana and Robert were excellent caretakers for my dog Kiwi. They suggested a meet and greet at their home beforehand, which allowed Kiwi to get familiar with them and their home before our 15-day trip. This really helped on drop off day. They were so loving to her, took her on adventures to new places and let her snuggle with them at night. I received regular messages and pics while we were away which was very comforting. Luciana is experienced with dogs and even gave me a tip to help with my dogs food allergies. They are warm and responsible and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or rebook them in the future. Thanks so much, Luciana and Robert!”

“We have entrusted our pup in Manny’s care a number of times now, and we feel at ease knowing she is in good hands. We love that Manny takes her on regular walks and that his dog Winnie is a companion for her. It’s great that Manny has a doggie door, so she is free to go outside when she wants. We always appreciate the photos Manny sends of our pup while we are away. Thanks for taking such good care of our pup!”

“We are so grateful to have found Yuko & pack. They took such wonderful care of Scooter and allowed our minds to be at ease while being on vacation for 10 days. We were updated with pictures and videos and we could tell he was having such a blast. That made our hearts very happy! Scooter can be picky and will choose not to eat his meals. They were able to find ways to encourage him to eat all his meals. We are happy to have found this family that Scooter can go to when we need someone to watch him.”

“I can't thank Danielle enough for the incredible care she provided for my puppy while I was away for my wedding and honeymoon! For two weeks, she went above and beyond to ensure my furry friend was happy and healthy. Danielle sent frequent updates, which really put my mind at ease during such a busy time. She even took the extra step to care for my puppy when she developed ear mites, administering medication and keeping her comfortable. When I returned, my puppy looked absolutely adorable in a cozy hoodie and a festive Halloween scarf! I highly recommend Danielle for anyone in need of a caring and responsible pet sitter. Her dedication and love for animals truly shine through. Thank you, Danielle, for taking such wonderful care of my puppy!”

“Te’Arie was great with our maltipoo pup, who can be a bit on the nervous side when first meeting people and other dogs/cats. She knew just what to do to make her feel comfortable during her weekend stay and I loved how she kept me posted on their outings (walks and nearby beach) and shared pics. You can tell Te’Arie has experience working with different personalities and is also just a really warm, caring person. Would definitely book with Te’Arie again and highly recommend!”

“Our 14 month old dog had never been boarded away from home. Mariola took great care of him at her home for a brief 24 hour stay in anticipation of a longer upcoming planned stay. The communication was excellent and our dog enjoyed spending time with Mariola and two other small dogs. We appreciated having our dog boarded nearby with Mariola in Berkeley.”

“Olivia did an excellent job caring for Lucy and Ricky Bobby while we were away. She was very attentive to them. She did the basics, but also went above and beyond by playing with them pretty extensively! And she even went outside and said "hello" to our neighborhood cat Luna, who stops by nearly every day. The photo updates Olivia sent were great too! When we got home, both cats seemed happy and well cared for. I cannot recommend Olivia enough! I will definitely look to rebook with her the next time we need a cat sitter.”

About: Your pet is in good hands. I'm an owner of a rambunctious two year old Bernedoodle named Sunny. I helped take care of my disabled neighbors dog for 2-3 years as a teen before before becoming a dog owner of my own. I can offer walks tailored to your dogs energy whether that be a brisk neighborhood stroll & playtime or a calm sniff & relaxed walk. I can help with training puppies and administer medication. You'll receive reliable, safe and fun care with regular photo updates! I'm available everyday 8 am to 10 pm. If I am doing overnight then I'm available for around the clock care. I'm flexible as I committing to animal care full time. I have a large backyard with grass that is fenced in. We live in a safe quiet neighborhood with not a lot of traffic. I have all the items your dogs needs (toys, a crate and even food if needed). Our dog Sunny is friendly and playful with other dogs.
“Eileen and Rolando are amazing! We did a meet and greet with my pup and Toro before our weekly dog day care, very friendly invited us right in. Toro is a sweetheart and I'm glad my pup has a cheerful bud to hang with during the day. We get pictures and updates throughout the day and they take them out a couple of times, so plenty of attention and entertainment. Thank you both!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization and training throughout various life stages. I currently share my home with three dogs of my own and I regularly care for friends' cats and dogs, both in my home and theirs. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from small lap dogs to large breeds, and know that each comes with its own personality, energy level, and needs. People tell me I'm not just a dog person but also someone dogs are drawn to. Cats have been a constant in my life just as long as dogs have. I know how to read their cues, respect their space, and earn their trust on their own terms. I genuinely love every stage of a pet's life and know how to meet each animal where they are, whether that's an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a laid-back senior. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. I do Rover to supplement my nonprofit career, so when I take on your pet it's because I genuinely want to be here, not because I have to be. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home! I work from home on a flexible schedule that I primarily set myself, which means I'm present with your pet throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and can separate pets as needed, so your animal has a safe, comfortable space even with my own dogs in the home. My partner, Jen, is also available to support with pet care and walks if you are comfortable with Jen stepping in at times. Between both of our schedules, we can better accommodate recurring clients who need weekly care! There are photos of Jen at the end of my photo section. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I treat every pet like they're my own. My home is pet-proofed with a fenced yard, and I can separate animals as needed so everyone has their own safe space alongside my own dogs. I always want to know your pet's routine, quirks, and preferences ahead of time so I can keep things as normal and comfortable as possible for them. With a lifetime of experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, I'm confident handling whatever comes up, and my crisis intervention background means I stay calm and act fast if an emergency arises.
“Radha was great as usual, we reached out in the morning for a same day daycare request and she responded right away. Our dog was so excited to see her and Jimmy. We got pictures and video all day that showed our dog having so much fun. Radha is so great and we'll be booking with her again.”

Beyond the basics of walking and feeding, I provide daily photo updates and structured mental stimulation to ensure your pet feels secure, loved, and engaged until you return home. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to watch and care for your dogs. If I'm not available, my wife Andrea will fulfill all the necessary requirements that will keep your dog feeling loved, nurtured and safe. We have several crates if your dog is in need of one. “A huge THANK YOU to Michael, his mom, and Mayzie for taking such good care of our puppy for the day. Michael’s communication was great from the time of booking, through the entire day (he sent lots of photos and texts), until the end of the booking. He even took our pup on a couple of short walks, which was super nice of him. We could tell from the photos Michael sent us that our puppy was having so much fun and plenty of play time. We would definitely recommend Michael and hope to use him again.”

“Gail was absolutely amazing with Bosco. She was very flexible with my work times for pick up/drop off, and was available very last minute to watch him for me when I had work! My dogs are anxious with changes to their routine but after a few days with Jessica they were happy to rush into her place when I dropped off, and tried to follow her back to her place instead of getting in the car to leave after pick up. I definitely recommend Jessica!”

His place is perfect for daycare and he puts your dog first. Donut loved romping around his yard, and cuddling with his sweet dog, too. I couldn’t be happier to find Lucas for daycare!”

In the last year or so I have picked up some dog training, and I would be happy to incorporate some of this training into my walks with your pup. Summer 2026 will be an extremely flexible time for me to pick up pet walking/sitting gigs. I have a dog of my own that will join dog walks only if my client is okay with it. I have a fenced yard and a housemate who works from home and loves dogs as well. I make sure my dog gets plenty of time outside and some movement throughout her day.

About: I'm an avid animal lover with a constantly revolving door. I volunteer through a rescue group and often foster dogs and help train and socialize them to make them better adoptees. I have a house and large yard for dogs to run and play in. There's a trail practically outside my door and a fenced in dog park down the street, not to mention the huge Pt Isabel park a few exits away. Why I love dog sitting Since I was little, I've always had dogs and other various pets. Currently, I volunteer with a few rescue organizations and help foster, socialize, and provide basic training to shelter dogs. About my yard I have a 6' high fence that fully encloses the yard. The yard is approximately 20'x40'; not a lot of grass but it's flat and we enjoy the sun out there.
About: i’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since i was 10. i always loved the dogs and my all friends and relatives wanted me to take care of their dogs when they were out of town. i am currently working part time and i have plenty of time playing with your pup. if your pup is small i can even train him some commands. i have a fenced yard and a friendly dog. my dog loves your dog as much as i do. we have enough place to play your dog in my house at backyard

“Such a great first dog sitting experience. Jonathan has such a calm and loving personality he was a perfect 4th of July dog sitter for my pup who can really struggle with fireworks. Very attentive sent photos daily of walks I will definitely reach out again and hope he is available”

“You took great care of Maia and she seemed happy and settled in easily. We appreciate you being very welcoming and we knew she would get along with other dogs and be well cared for. We'll definitely be back in touch when we travel again!”

“We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!”

“Luffy really has a great time with Kianna and her family. He gets lots of love from her children and I love seeing all the photo updates! As always, thank you for taking such good care of luffy.”

“Overall a great experience- we met at a local park to make sure the dogs got along and everything seemed great, so we went forward. Our dog Sammy had a four day stay and seemed to enjoy every bit of it with all the pictures and feedback we received. Lucas was very professional and accommodating to our schedule changes (delayed flight). We will definitely be using them again. Thanks Lucas!”

“We are thrilled to share our overwhelmingly positive experience with Jennifer, who has been a dedicated caregiver to Ruby since she was a 5/6 month old puppy (she's almost 2 now). Jennifer's commitment to providing the best care possible has only grown stronger over time, making her an invaluable part of Ruby's life. From the very start of our journey with Jennifer, her warmth and genuine care for animals were evident. As Ruby's first and ongoing Rover caregiver, Jennifer has played an instrumental role in shaping Ruby's well-being and happiness. Her communication remains not only prompt but also incredibly reassuring, a testament to the trust and bond she has built with both Ruby and us. Thank you, Jennifer, for being more than a caregiver.”

“We are so grateful for Kaja to care for our pup on such short notice. Kaja was very trustworthy and sent us a lot of photos and nice texts to keep us informed of how everything was going. We look forward to asking Kaja to care for Lucky again!”

I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
“Yagmur and her partner took excellent care of my special needs dog. The steps up to their apartment were a bit challenging for him, but they managed him beautifully. I am so appreciative of the care that provided to him.”
“Sherry went above and beyond to take care of Molly during her stay, including taking her to vet (which was quite a drive away) when her vet here in Berkeley was unable to see her immediately. She clearly loves animals and will do her best to care for them like her own pet during their stay. Five stars for her extra time and care to ensure the best care for our girl!”
