“Ashish was amazing. This was our pup’s first boarding, and I was very nervous. He reassured me that everything was going to be ok. He also sent us photos through out the visit! He was super accommodating on pick up time as well. Would ABSOLUTELY bring my dog back here if I needed boarding again!”

“Banksy had an amazing time at Luna's and loved playing with Jim. I felt extremely comfortable leaving Banksy with Luna, based on the questions she asked about Banksy, her attention to detail about his needs and safety, and just her kind warm personality! I loved the pictures each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Luna and will definitely be having her watch Banksy again!”

“Julie and Adam were wonderful and caring hosts for our Murphy. They sent us photos and updates while we were away, which made us feel so at ease knowing he was in great hands. We truly appreciate the genuine love they showed our pup and will definitely have them watch him again. Thank you, Julie and Adam!”

“Hope is great with nervous dogs and makes them feel comfortable and loved. We booked her last minute for a week long trip caused by a family emergency, and it was so nice to not have to worry about our pup. Hope is very communicative and sends lots of pics and videos. Great sitter!”

“I can tell Sybil had a great time because when it was time to go she curled up in Maria's lap and didn't want to leave 😅. Maria clearly has a way with dogs and my pup had a great time playing with her son as well. Thanks Maria!”

“We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!”

“Such a great first dog sitting experience. Jonathan has such a calm and loving personality he was a perfect 4th of July dog sitter for my pup who can really struggle with fireworks. Very attentive sent photos daily of walks I will definitely reach out again and hope he is available”

“Our Shepherd/Husky loved staying with Allora and her family. He loved being able to play with their dog Boba, chasing each other around in their large outdoor backyard. Allora was very attentive and sent pictures every day, keeping us up to date with all the activities they were up to, which included walks every day, and being involved in family activities. I will definitely choose to leave him with Allora in the future too.”

“Christine went above and beyond to take great care of our dog! Buca had a great time and came home happy and healthy after staying with Christine. We will definitely be reaching out again for future visits.”

“Nathaniel did a great job caring for my energetic three-year-old Kelpie. My dog came home happy and well cared for. The only improvement I'd suggest is sending photos and updates more often. Overall, a very positive experience, and I'd be happy to use Nathaniel's services again.”

“I am so grateful to have found Ikeena here. My dog has anxiety and Ikeena immediately put him at ease and took great care of him. She asked thoughtful/caring questions since my dog has some special needs. She took my dog on hikes/walks in the park and took excellent care of him. She sent videos and photos too.”

“As always Radha gave our boy a week of fun and love. All the pictures and videos showed them having a blast together and we always appreciate how well Radha takes care of him like he's her own. I'm so glad we found her and our dog has a home away from home.”

“We have entrusted our pup in Manny’s care a number of times now, and we feel at ease knowing she is in good hands. We love that Manny takes her on regular walks and that his dog Winnie is a companion for her. It’s great that Manny has a doggie door, so she is free to go outside when she wants. We always appreciate the photos Manny sends of our pup while we are away. Thanks for taking such good care of our pup!”

“Luciana and Rob were incredible and did an amazing job taking care of our little cavapoo, Poppy. There were so kind and welcoming. We had a great meet and greet with them early in the booking process and we knew they were a perfect fit for her. Poppy gets nervous around strangers and they were very patient and let Poppy go at her own pace. They sent lots of photos and updates while we were away and we couldn’t have been more at ease leaving our fur baby.”

“Louis watched our dog for multiple days over Thanksgiving week, and was absolutely amazing. He gave super prompt communication and is very knowledgeable. We felt at ease during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Louis if you are in need of a great dog sitter!”

About: My comfort and experience with cats goes as far as checking on them, refilling their food and water bowls and cleaning their litter boxes. Unfortunately, I am moderately allergic to cats, so I would not be staying in any homes with cats.

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies and 4 kittens, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization throughout various life stages. Cats have been a constant in my life just as long as dogs have. I know how to read their cues, respect their space, and earn their trust on their own terms. I genuinely love every stage of a pet's life and know how to meet each animal where they are, whether that's an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a laid-back senior. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. I do Rover to supplement my nonprofit career, so when I take on your pet it's because I genuinely want to be here, not because I have to be. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home!

About: I’m a proud cat mom and absolutely love spending time with cats! Although I’m new to professional pet sitting, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own cat every day. I’m patient, attentive, and enjoy interactive play, and cats always seem to warm up to me quickly. I’ll make sure your cat feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities, ages, and care needs. Over the years, I have worked with friendly cats, shy cats, senior cats, and cats requiring medication support and specialized care. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and respecting each cat’s environment. Whether a cat needs medication, support with subcutaneous fluids, extra patience during stressful situations, or simply a calm and reliable caregiver while their family is away, my goal is to help them feel safe, comfortable, and secure. I enjoy working as a team with pet owners to support their cat’s well-being, comfort, and quality of life while providing thoughtful observation, communication, and individualized care.

“Carrie was our first experience with Rover. It was obvious, when meeting our cat for the first time, that Carrie made a special connection with our cat. She paid attention to the instructions we left for her to follow, and helped us feel confident in our selection, especially with daily photos and postings of our cat. We are totally pleased with Carrie and the wonderful care she provided for Ms Mimi. Mimi and her parents look forward to the opportunity to using her services in the future.”

“Olivia did an excellent job caring for Lucy and Ricky Bobby while we were away. She was very attentive to them. She did the basics, but also went above and beyond by playing with them pretty extensively! And she even went outside and said "hello" to our neighborhood cat Luna, who stops by nearly every day. The photo updates Olivia sent were great too! When we got home, both cats seemed happy and well cared for. I cannot recommend Olivia enough! I will definitely look to rebook with her the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“Thank you Cyndi for taking care of Jack and Guiness and sending us the pictures, it gave us a lot of piece of mind knowing that Cyndi was taking care of our 2 cats! I can highly recommend Cyndi”
“I chose Rebecca to look after my new 6-month old three-legged kitten. Based upon her profile and our meet & greet, I felt I could count on her to take good care of my precious little guy. Rebecca is an excellent communicator and detail oriented. My kitty was happy and well cared for when I returned. I will be reaching out to Rebecca next time I have to leave my little guy at home.”

About: I appreciate the love and energy that dogs bring into one’s life! I had five dogs at a young age, and I grew up with one dog for 10 years. Although I don’t have professional training, I tend to care for pets as if they were my own! I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday, so my availability starts after 4:30pm. My weekend availabilities are more flexible. I am always open to ideas and feedback! I always go by what you (the owner) prefers when it comes to pet care. When at home, I make sure the pet is in a visible area, and I make sure there aren’t any hazards that are easily reached by the pet. If the dog requires specific attention, I will make sure to provide the needed attention. I also make sure to send owners picture updates! :)

“Gabby took great care of our kitties for a couple of days while we were out of town. She communicated with us well and see the care she puts into each session with them. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

“My dog had a wonderful time! Bonnie was incredibly accommodating and caring, and did a great job with a working breed — they had lovely walks and plenty of playtime together. I loved getting pictures and videos throughout the day, such a nice touch. She also sent updates on eating and snacking. Highly recommend for daycare!”

“Eileen and Rolando are amazing! We did a meet and greet with my pup and Toro before our weekly dog day care, very friendly invited us right in. Toro is a sweetheart and I'm glad my pup has a cheerful bud to hang with during the day. We get pictures and updates throughout the day and they take them out a couple of times, so plenty of attention and entertainment. Thank you both!”

About: Hi! We are Angelina and Xavior & we are here to be your fur baby’s new favorite sitter! We joined Rover in 2018 & have met so many amazing fur babies & pet parents! I (Angelina) have been taking care of different animals since I was about 9 years old, however as of 5 years ago I’ve started to work with pets in a more professional setting. I started at a doggie daycare, until moved to a training & boarding kennel. The owner also did have a dog rescue as well. There I worked with one of the best dog trainers in Northern Virginia for almost 2 years & learned a lot not only about dog training but also working with rescue pups & how it sometimes can be a bit different! After that I worked at an SPCA location with rescue pups & kitties! We relocated to Atlanta for a while where we continued to do Rover & I also worked at another doggie daycare/kennel/rescue hybrid! Aside from this I do also have a dog training certification as well as a grooming certification. We both have experience with a variety of animals including but not limited to dogs, cats, cows, goats, horses, reptiles, birds, rodents, etc. We hope this gives you a bit more Insight on us both & we can’t wait to hear from you! I recently made the decision to work on rover full-time as I love being able to provide at-home care for your fur babies that cannot board in a kennel-like-environment. Pet care will always fit in perfectly to my routine! We will always follow your pet’s typical routine unless otherwise requested. We know how stressful it can be for both the pet & pet parent, which is why your baby is always our top priority. Whether it is a drop-in, quick walk, or month long stay we make sure to give your baby lots of love while their you are away! We have a dog who is quite the social butterfly! If your baby also loves to make friends she would be a great addition to keeping us company!
“Christiano is great with our dog. He is such a nice guy and you can tell he really cares about animals. We feel comfortable leaving our boy with him and know he's in good hands. Our dog also has some specific needs and Christiano is always accommodating. Definitely recommend him and his team!”

About: Small or large, reactive or secure, your dog will feel at home with me. For the last 10+ years I have been pet sitting and walking my neighbor's pets and this summer I'd like to expand my reach to the rest of the East Bay. I have experience administering medication, cooking food for pets, and making dogs feel at ease in my presence. In the last year or so I have picked up some dog training, and I would be happy to incorporate some of this training into my walks with your pup. Summer 2026 will be an extremely flexible time for me to pick up pet walking/sitting gigs. I have a dog of my own that will join dog walks only if my client is okay with it. I have a fenced yard and a housemate who works from home and loves dogs as well. I make sure my dog gets plenty of time outside and some movement throughout her day.

I’m currently a student at San Jose State University and I look forward to doing some walks or other services on the weekends when I’m back home, also I can do walks or sittings on the weekdays when I off school. I have a fenced yard, the dogs and cats are allowed in the house and my room. I will make sure to always keep a lookout and have them be where I am at.

“Yagmur and her partner took excellent care of my special needs dog. The steps up to their apartment were a bit challenging for him, but they managed him beautifully. I am so appreciative of the care that provided to him.”
About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house I share with my girlfriend with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
“Niyuan is an excellent pet sitter. Very responsible and reliable, and she communicated clearly and consistently the entire time. She kept detailed records of feeding and care, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I really appreciated how she maintained open communication throughout, always keeping me updated. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and attentive sitter.”

“Michael has watched our pup, Stella, a number of times now. She is always well-taken-care of with Michael. He takes her on multiple walks per day and makes sure she gets plenty of outside time. She and his pup get along well, so it is nice for her to have a dog playmate too. Michael sends photos and updates throughout the stay, which is great for when we are missing her. We would recommend Michael to anyone needing someone to care for their pet.”

“Kiarash was great with Coco and kept me updated with what he was up to. Coco seemed disappointed when I came to pick up so I know he had a good time and probably didn't want to come home. Thank you, Kiarash!”

“Te’Arie was great with our maltipoo pup, who can be a bit on the nervous side when first meeting people and other dogs/cats. She knew just what to do to make her feel comfortable during her weekend stay and I loved how she kept me posted on their outings (walks and nearby beach) and shared pics. You can tell Te’Arie has experience working with different personalities and is also just a really warm, caring person. Would definitely book with Te’Arie again and highly recommend!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization and training throughout various life stages. I currently share my home with three dogs of my own and regularly care for friends' cats and dogs, both in my home and theirs. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from small lap dogs to large breeds, and know that each comes with its own personality, energy level, and needs. People tell me I'm not just a dog person but also someone dogs are drawn to. I work from home on a flexible schedule that I set myself, which means I'm present with your pet throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and can separate pets as needed, so your animal has a safe, comfortable space even with my own dogs in the home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I treat every pet like they're my own. My home is pet-proofed with a fenced yard, and I can separate animals as needed so everyone has their own safe space alongside my own dogs. I always want to know your pet's routine, quirks, and preferences ahead of time so I can keep things as normal and comfortable as possible for them. With a lifetime of experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, I'm confident handling whatever comes up, and my crisis intervention background means I stay calm and act fast if an emergency arises.
“Kim was so wonderful with our sweet pup, Teddy. She sent pics each day and took him to the park regularly with her sweet dog. Teddy seemed to have a great time and came home a happy pup!”
