About: With 10 years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. From playful puppies to senior companions, I provide personalized attention and understanding. Your dog isn’t just a client—they’re family in my care. Connecting with animals is a great passion of mine and allowing them to bring joy to my day is something I wouldn’t give up on. At my home, pets enjoy a safe and loving environment. In your home, I stick to their routines for comfort. Their happiness and care always come first!

About: I am new to rover but not new to caring for animals. I have had all kinds of pets throughout of my life! Because of this, I consider myself to be attentive, patient, and empathetic. I know how it can be scary trusting a stranger with your pet but I can assure you, I'll treat them as my own. I am the type of person that points out every dog that walks by in awe! I have experience in basic training dogs & puppies. At the moment I have a Border Collie named Koffee that I co parent with my brother, this taught me how important communication is (this includes sending the cutest pics/vids of them). I also have experience with other animals, such as birds, hamsters, reptiles, bunnies, & fish! Hablo español y inglés! I work from home so pet care fits perfectly into my life! I have a flexible schedule and I am available near by on most days. I treat all animals as if they were my own and I absolutely adore my pets so I know how important caring for someone else's pet. I also understand everyone has their own ways of parenting their pets so I respect everyones personal rules. I'd love to know about your pets particular needs or wants!
About: Small or large, reactive or secure, your dog will feel at home with me. For the last 10+ years I have been pet sitting and walking my neighbor's pets and this summer I'd like to expand my reach to the rest of the East Bay. I have experience administering medication, cooking food for pets, and making dogs feel at ease in my presence. In the last year or so I have picked up some dog training, and I would be happy to incorporate some of this training into my walks with your pup. Summer 2026 will be an extremely flexible time for me to pick up pet walking/sitting gigs. I have a dog of my own that will join dog walks only if my client is okay with it. I have a fenced yard and a housemate who works from home and loves dogs as well. I make sure my dog gets plenty of time outside and some movement throughout her day.
“This is a repeat hire due to the success and quality of the previous walk . Our Malinois is well rested after the walk , and communication with Judy was clear and comfortable . Heartily recommended!”

“Cyndi was wonderful with my dog during the three weeks she walked him. He was always excited and happy to go with her, and I felt confident knowing he was in good hands. She’s reliable, caring, and clearly great with dogs. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Ana, a reliable, patient, and caring pet sitter who truly loves animals. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of different ages and personalities, including senior pets and those who need extra attention. I’m comfortable following medication schedules and have experience administering insulin injections as directed by a veterinarian. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every dog and cat as if they were part of my own family, and I look forward to caring for your furry friend! Pet care fits into my daily routine because I make sure to feed, give water, and spend time with my pet every day. I also include short play sessions or walks to keep them active. On a weekly basis, I dedicate time to cleaning their space, grooming, and checking their overall health. Taking care of my pet is part of my responsibilities, and I enjoy making it a regular habit. In my home, I care for pets by providing them with a safe and comfortable environment, making sure they always have fresh food and water, and spending quality time with them through play and exercise. I also keep their area clean and give them attention and affection. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions to maintain the pet’s routine, such as feeding schedules, walks, and any special care they might need. I always make sure the pet feels comfortable and cared for, whether they are with me or in their own home.

“Good communication and sense of humor. Accommodated my dogs needs even if they didn’t fully align with the Rover plan. I booked a walk but my girl decided she didn’t want to and Leslie hung out with her in the yard and gave her cuddles and attention instead.”

“Jasmarie took great photos, was punctual, with quick communication back and forth. Such a relief to know our pup is in good hands. Would recommend and absolutely will use her help again.”

Rachael is amazing! She’s reliable, kind, and someone who truly cares about the wellbeing of the pets she works with. Knowing that my dog was in good hands made my transition back to the office so much easier. She’s great with communication and I always knew how the walks went. I’m so grateful we found her!

Beverly was great with walking my pup (6-year-old but still a pup). She communicated very well, assuring me that she got into the home, that the pup greeted her, and that their walk went well. Beverly also took the time to share observations on the pup - like her fascination with birds and leaves. The experience went so well we have already booked again.

Gabby did a great job with my dog, Murphy! Murphy’s a rescue chihuahua mix who takes awhile to warm up to new people. I know it was not easy, but Gabby got him out for two walks while I had to travel out of town for the day. I really appreciated Gabby’s patience with him and it was a relief to know he was in good hands.

We feel very lucky to have found Leslie! Our boy Bruno loves going on walks with her :) she’s very reliable, communicative, friendly, and able to accommodate our work schedules/ dog walking needs, which sometimes change from week to week. Great all around.

For my dog, Jonathan is a dog whisperer. He has been walking my 15 plus year old chi mix dog and my dog loves him. He's also very observant of my dog's behavior which, considering my dog's age, is very appreciated. My dog and I are happy we have been able to use Jonathan's services.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
