About: Welcome to my Rover page! Over the years I've rescued and fostered and shared my life with many dogs. My home is open to small dogs of all breeds as long as the dog does not require extensive exercise (long runs etc). Regarding specialities, through fostering with Old Dog Haven I became very familiar with the needs of elderly and medically fragile dogs. At this point in my life I only have one dog of my own, and he is small and blind. My home is perfect for older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and/or dogs who just need extra love and attention. I work from home. My neighborhood is safe and beautiful and ideal for walks. I can administer meds and handle complicated feeding schedules. I will love on your pupper as if they were my own. I work from home full-time and never travel for work. Weekdays are all about working in my office with regular breaks for walkies and for play time and for meals. Charlie was a stubborn and happy Basset Hound, and Teddy was a big, lovable, and strong Great Pyrenees who unfortunately passed early last year. I needed a dog walker for my young working line German shepherd. My husband was staying home with the dogs while I visited my family, but he can’t walk far enough or fast enough to keep my baby entertained and exercised. I was delighted that Shuhan wasn’t deterred by barking when he arrived for a meet-and-greet, so we booked him. He arrived on time every day, didn’t mind dealing with foxtail nets, and returned her ready for a nap. We will definitely call him next time!
I realized at the last minute that I would be out all day and connected with Supriya to take our dogs out for a midday walk. Supriya was super responsive, kept me updated with photos, and took the dogs out for a nice, long walk at the time we agreed to. I'll definitely have her back when the need arises and would wholeheartedly recommend her.
Linda went above and beyond when watching our dog Marlowe. I really appreciated the detailed reports she gave us on the time she spent with him. She clearly loves and understands dogs, and provided very valuable insights into to his behavior, as well as recommendations on how we can work with him to teach him new skills.
